00:32:41, 25 October 2014 review of submission by Gstarr5555

[edit]

I am requesting a review because this article has been in draft for a few weeks and since this is my first submission, I am not entirely sure how the process works and how long it will take for my article to be approved. Thank you! Gstarr5555 (talk) 00:32, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Gstarr5555: Be advised, you never submitted it for review, hence why it hasn't been reviewed. Your larger issue is that you have to establish notability and you've provided few sources that are both independent and reliable. You can't use Emily Carr University as a source because he was on the board of governors and probably had his staff write and post that stuff. Accordingly, you can't use the websites of organizations of which he's a director. After that, you only have profiles from Forbes and Bloomberg and I'm unsure that those make any claim of notability. Add on top of that the fact that this is clearly a puff piece: "An astute business person, he has volunteered his wise counsel to many non-profit organizations", I'm inclined to decline. AliDho (talk) 06:34, 25 October 2014 (UTC) My wikipedia article https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Hangover_%28Salman_Khan_Song%29 is not being reviewed![reply]

Your draft is still awaiting review. There is a very large backlog at the moment. It will be reviewed when someone gets round to it. You only submitted it yesterday, so it could be several weeks or over a month before it is reviewed. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 07:05, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
