Note: This is for questions about articles submissions or the AfC process. Please add content to your article draft, which you can find at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/AVR Easy Admin. Anon126 (talk - contribs) 03:09, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have provided reference and quote from news paper and blogs about his life. Do i require to give more references ? I have also given the link from California university for awarding him PHd. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bishwa 777 (talkcontribs) 05:34, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You should add inline citations, which are references that support specific statements in the article. Generally, these come in the form of footnotes, like this:[1] For a quick tutorial on how to do this, go to the introduction to referencing. I think I submitted the article referenced above, but the response page I received was confusing and did not state that it was successfully submitted. How can I know that it has been received for review?

Hello ModalPeak- Welcome to the Articles for Creation Help desk. You submission is currently not submitted to be reviewed. Please submit your submission clicking "Submit your draft when you are ready for it to be reviewed!" button on grey box appearing on top of your submission page or by putting {{subst:submit}} on top of your submission page. Thank you! Anupmehra -Let's talk! 14:34, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks, Chris Troutman for moving the page from sandbox to the draft page. I clicked on "request review" -- does that mean the page is now being reviewed? Thanks! James WeedJames Weed (talk) 15:07, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@James Weed: No, you never submitted the draft so I've done it on your behalf. All you have to do now is wait. I took a cursory look over it and cleaned up the entry. I don't think Vu Digital meets our notability standard for companies but I'll let another reviewer make the decision on it. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:17, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jeff Schneider I'm still waiting to hear back from the Irish Times about an older link that is active through a fee. My concern is that the issue will not be resolved before the current article is reviewed. I was hoping that the proper link would be established. thank you (Jeff Schneider (talk) 17:15, 4 April 2014 (UTC))[reply]

The article has been deleted, so I cannot read the exact contents. However, I will say generally that articles should be written in your own words. References do not help if the text is copied word for word.
Copyright problems can also happen when contributors copy text from something that they themselves have written. If that is the case for you, please go to donating copyrighted materials for information on how you can make it available for Wikipedia. However, it is usually better to look for outside sources, which help demonstrate notability. Anon126 (talk - contribs) 19:24, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
