Title Submission Steve Cavanagh author

Hi, am just about to give up on this page creation trying to submit article on a new author Steve Cavanagh I included lots of reference links from various independent sources but got the error message that can't use refs from google url?

The author is to be published in Uk and Commonwealth, Japan, Netherlands, Germany and Italy so far more rights pending and is being compared with John Grisham and Michael Connolly would this be a sufficient noteable figure or should I just give up.

Hope you can help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TAMearns (talkcontribs) 07:48, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@TAMearns: First, is it coincidental your username includes the last name of the author? Would you like to declare a conflict of interest? Secondly, I fixed two of your references to give you an idea of what we're looking for. You can't just tell us to google search terms to find what you're pointing to. Additionally, none of your references are particularly reliable. Finally, you haven't made a case for notability which is where the decision to accept or decline rests. Please show us Steve Cavanagh/Stephen Mearns meets the criteria in WP:AUTHOR and you'll be set. Chris Troutman (talk) 08:30, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks think I'll just give it all a miss super stressful very annoying and after including so many links Wikipedia will not accept them as it is from google I did try honest wasn't being lazy. Not sure I can take being reprimanded either by complete strangers who are supposed to be " helping". Thanks but I think my very short liaison with Wikipedia has come to an end.— Preceding unsigned comment added by TAMearns (talkcontribs)

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/ObserveIT - I was wondering why this article is getting pushed DOWN the list. I submitted this article over a week ago on March 25th, at which point it was 835th in line, today its 932nd in line. I'd appreciate an explanation and an estimate as to when I can expect it to be reviewed.

Thank you so much for your help. Robynwinner (talk) 08:54, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The number is not the submission's position in a list - it is simply the total number of submissions waiting for review. Submissions are simply sorted by date - but reviewing is not done strictly chronologically. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 10:03, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would like some specific guidance on what I need to do in order to have my submission published to the site. I know references are the issue, but what parts need to be referenced? If I know that, I can decide whether to add references, or simply delete those sections.

Thank you.

I have accepted this draft so it is published at Ray Ricker. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 14:25, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Vu Digital page was reviewed on March 27 without comment, but not posted. What's the next step?--James Weed (talk) 13:30, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi James, I think that may be the result of some confusing terminology we have here. The review on 27 March was just a basic check for any serious problems, not a review of the draft to accept or decline it as a Wikipedia article. If you think the page is ready to be submitted for consideration to be published as a Wikipedia article, add {{subst:submit}} to the top of it. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 14:04, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I'd like to ask how my article will be able to pass the review and be up for the website? What should I do?

Thank you!

Hi User:Anon126 the page has been deleted without me even getting the chance to amend it? That is all i am asking for, a chance to amend the infringements? Kind Regards Jlr83 — Preceding undated comment added 08:04, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I made the corrections the reviewer asked for but do not know the status of my contribution at this time. Can you help? Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Joan M TenenbaumMerlinFairbanks (talk) 16:57, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I recently created the notable article concerning the beverage referred to as Cupdrink. After submission I have attempted to find the page again to add further information and have had no luck finding it. Does it need to be confirmed before it will become visible to me again or have I submitted it incorrectly and will be forced to spend another couple of hours re-writing it? Sorry if I am just being impatient but I put a lot of work into making this and I want to ensure it has not been lost. Thanks for you time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.71.226.254 (talk) 18:43, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

So sorry for my impatient commenting it appears I have found the article and it is still awaiting confirmation. I shall check back regularly for its confirmation and proceed to add the extra information once it has been accepted. Thank you for your time.

My boss has asked me to create a Wikipedia article for our company. I'm unsure about where to do so, I've come across the Creating User:[Username] and then the Article Creation page. Which should I use?
