Course information: Professor, Teaching Assistant (TA) & Ambassador[edit]
Course description[edit]BIOL / ENTM 4015, Conservation Biology at Louisiana State University [LSU], was designed to give students an in-depth and timely understanding of topics relevant to Conservation Biology. Most relevant details for the course are found on the course web page.[1] Wikipedia assignment & timeline[edit]Our course was informally linked with another course on LSU's campus (Landscape Architecture [LA] 4001, Advanced Topics in Design, taught by Dr. Bruce Sharky[2]). Students enrolled in BIOL / ENTM 4015 made contributions to Wikipedia (either by creating articles or adding content to existing articles) - contributions that were relevant to "Hot Topics" in Conservation Biology. Students enrolled in LA 4001 served as student "consultants" and added graphics that helped portray, illustrate, or otherwise enhance the content of the "Hot Topic" written contributions by the student "clients" in BIOL / ENTM 4015.
