Burning Rangers is a 1998 3D action video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Sega Saturn. The game is set in a futuristic society in which fire is the remaining danger. Players control one of an elite group of firefighters, the Burning Rangers, who extinguish fires and rescue civilians in burning buildings. Most of the tasks the players complete are centred around collecting energy crystals to transport civilians to safety. Development began shortly after the release of Christmas Nights in November 1996, with Yuji Naka wanting to create a game which involved saving people rather than killing them. Burning Rangers received mostly positive reviews. Critics unanimously commended the game's soundtrack and audio, although responses to the graphics was mixed—with some critics asserting that it had the best visuals on the Saturn, although it was noted for its poor collision detection and occasional glitching. The game was among the final five Saturn titles released in America. (Full article...)

- Reasons for nomination: It's been a while since a video game was last on the main page, and I recently got this promoted so its quality shouldn't be a concern.
- The one thing to consider is that Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward will be the TFA for a he 16th so this will need to be far enough away from that article.--64.229.167.158 (talk) 05:24, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
- Perhaps a week or two after that, I think it's best to leave it up to the delegates to decide. JAGUAR 14:23, 1 February 2017 (UTC)

- Comment: I've nominated God of War II for TFA on March 13 (its 10th anniversary). Since this one is listed for a non-specific date, I wanted to put that out there. Otherwise, I support this for whatever date is chosen. --JDC808 ♫ 22:09, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'm happy to go with whatever date. JAGUAR 22:20, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

- Support as long as there is an appropriate amount of time to separate this from Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward and God of War II. Aoba47 (talk) 21:33, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
