Similar to AIV Notice and Reported to AIV, but it was created much earlier. Level 4 warnings already say you may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time [...] and there's nothing to do with this information besides vandalize the report itself. Keep. There is more or less nothing harmful about this template; allowing users the discretion of using this sort of thing causes no harm to the project. For that reason, I see no reason to do anything but keep. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 05:45, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. Some editors don't understand that duplication is very harmful. It leads to lesser-used templates being out-of-sync, either with current practices or with an updated MoS style, OR it leads to continued maintenance burden. If Template:Uw-vandalism4 needs updating, that discussion should be held there. Gonnym (talk) 12:13, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is no concern here about duplication, as this template simply states that one has been reported to AIV, whilst {{Uw-vandalism4}} states that future vandalism will result in a report. I'm confused as to where this is coming from. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 18:21, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's a duplication of a vandalism warning. Uwvandalism4 has |3= for extra text. Gonnym (talk) 19:07, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That simply appends additional text to the standard {{uw-vandalism4}} template's message; the template we are discussing here is different in purpose. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 03:32, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
