Unused after removal from a handful of templates today (Template:Governors of California and Template:Governors of Zambales) where it clearly didn't work as advertised. At a higher level, few/no people are going to go around setting attributes on explicit HTML either. Regardless, if this is necessary, it should have a TemplateStyles version rather than an inline style version. Izno (talk) 01:17, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No transclusions. This navbox is for a conference that existed for only eight seasons in the 1930s, and all of these schools are more well known for their participation in other conferences. The article at Eastern Intercollegiate Conference covers the topic well, and the target articles within this navbox do not highlight the EIC years in any special way. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:57, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Subst and delete This recent template duplicates the function of a much more capable existing template, {{Mergenote}}, which if set as {{Mergenote|wp=y}} is used for the purpose that this template is supposed to be used for. This template can only handle two pages and cannot specify discussion locations, while {{mergenote}} can handle many more merge candidates, and specify discussion locations. (After substitution and deletion, redirect to {{mergenote}} as a useful descriptive name for the older template) -- 65.92.246.142 (talk) 02:28, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Use of https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Special:LinkSearch shows there is ample scope for it to be applied. Charles Matthews (talk) 06:20, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't link to what you meant to. But more importantly, 12 years is a long time for a template to be unused. Gonnym (talk) 06:40, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Be that as it may. Use of the pattern http://yba.llgc.org.uk/ in the tool, and a bit of research, is illuminating. It seems that Wiki Medic 2.5, in 2019, and in article space, probably converted http://yba.llgc.org.uk/en/ URLs into biography.wales URLs, avoiding a redirection. http://yba.llgc.org.uk/cy/ URLs still exist in article space. Those presumably should be changed, to the English-language versions. The importance of templating these references includes being able to change the formatter URL in one place. I have no idea whether the original template was ever used. Redirect seems appropriate. Charles Matthews (talk) 06:49, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, delete all. These were for bus lines in the Munich area; their deprecation was discussed at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Trains#Succession templates for bus lines. No replacement. Mackensen (talk) 13:53, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was merge to Template:Coord-doc-dim. Izno (talk) 18:57, 10 March 2022 (UTC) [reply]

Propose merging Wikipedia:WikiProject Geographical coordinates/dim: with Template:Coord-doc-dim.
This template is practically orphaned and abandoned, it seems to me appropriate to merge or delete it. Moreover it is in the namespace template, so it can also be used by ns0; it makes sense to use it only in the guidelines. The merge would take place between two different namespaces (Wikipedia: and Template:). I couldn't figure out how to correctly link the following template in the request, therefore I list it manually: here corrected -- ZandDev (msg) 13:47, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not the sort of thing that should be a template; this is transcluded in one place and should be substituted there and deleted (and honestly should be put in a better reference format than a bare URL). Elli (talk | contribs) 17:10, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
