Violates WP:EXISTING - almost entirely red links DannyS712 (talk) 16:21, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I created this template because I think to create the articles of her albums in the shortest time possibile. --Greenyellowcable (talk) 19:46, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Delete or userfy. The creator (above) is trying to create articles listed on the navbox. It may be an idea to userfy the navbox to their userspace and then move it out at the point when or if the articles are created. Either way, I don't think it should remain in template namespace until enough articles have been created to fill the navbox. Unused template. Seems this method was replaced at one point. Gonnym (talk) 14:03, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete after replacement with {{Infobox settlement}}. — JJMC89(T·C) 04:16, 8 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Replace and delete

Beside one for Helsinki, the only city-specific place infobox wrapper. Use {{Infobox settlement}} directly. 77.11.127.214 (talk) 09:36, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. This discussion is similar to Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2019_April_15#Template:Infobox_UK_place in that again it has specific code which helps to reduce duplication in article, subpages ({{Infobox London Borough/ethnicity}} this time used 18 times). It also has references automatically added to the title of the ethnicity percentages, other specific templates (including {{United Kingdom statistics year}}, {{English district population}}, {{English district area rank}}), inbuilt switches (mediawiki switch) which helps to reduce duplication in parameters.
This like last time, would lead again to more confusing code (which is more likely to be messed with by a confused new editor, than if it is in a template) being placed in every article which uses it and require overall more maintenance (e.g. updating the name of the GLA (which is shared between multiple boroughs), and updating ethnicity percentages and its source). FUD. This template is already a wrapper, the other proposal was about converting a template to a wrapper. RE "This discussion is similar to [...] in that again it has specific code" - the discussion has specific code? 77.183.63.89 (talk) 14:35, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

These bits of code help to reduce duplication. There are more examples. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 10:35, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Also none of this could be supported by the wrapper, as it is highly specific to the boroughs Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 10:36, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
FUD. - none of this could be supported by the wrapper - it is already a wrapper and IB settlement can be used with data templates as is done with the wrapper that is proposed to be deleted. 77.11.155.170 (talk) 01:04, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
FUD. - These bits of code help to reduce duplication. - The first example does not even show "help to reduce duplication". The whole switch is superfluous. There are only 32 articles. Insert the values into the articles and delete the switch. 77.11.155.170 (talk) 01:04, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete. Procedural close; deleted by Athaenara per WP:T3 - log entry. (non-admin closure) DannyS712 (talk) 19:14, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to be a copy of Template:Miscarriage of justice with zero uses, under a title which does not relate to the content. It serves no obvious purpose and after 8 months, I think we can afford to be rid of it. Tagishsimon (talk) 02:40, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
