Template:Double image stack (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Deprecated, redundant to {{Multiple image}}. I replaced about 100 instances between tonight and today and there are about 150 left.

Note Template has not been tagged, as it is protected. —Justin (koavf)TCM19:50, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template:QuoteAuthor (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

As part of a new bot, this is no longer needed. I-20the highway 19:40, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Infobox runner (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Deprecated [in favour of {{Infobox athlete}}], c. 200 transclusions, which I am currently replacing. —Justin (koavf)TCM18:45, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template:The Nine World Wars (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Eurocentric NPOV on what wars are World War. Source is a 1980's American high school textbook listed in Lies My Teacher Told Me. This is the only source for the classification, which is never used. All in all no suffficient claim to notability of this classification, and serious doubts about the reliability/neutrality of the source . Arnoutf (talk) 09:15, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've told them before, this template is nonsense. Delete it. Rebel Redcoat (talk) 16:11, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sure go ahead. I don't take this personally and am not offended. SpencerCS (talk) 21:10, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Context comment: SpencerCS is the original creator of the template, whom I notified of this discussion on his talk. Arnoutf (talk) 22:08, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep and move to Template:XBLA Summer of Arcade. Airplaneman 14:51, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template:XBLASummer2010 (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

A seemingly pointless template. Not even an article for "Summer of Arcade" nor a "Summer of Arcade 2010" and header links to "Xbox Live", "Xbox Live Arcade", and "2010". Somewhat of a cruft template that doesn't do much more than link a few random games together. Jmlk17 08:02, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

*Delete - could easily be viewed as WP:ADVERT, plus there isn't a XBLA Summer 2010 article to establish the need for a template. If there's no coverage outside of Microsoft, then there's no need for a template. --Teancum (talk) 04:17, 22 August 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Expanded template to include all current years, pointed header to Xbox Live Arcade#Xbox 360 --Teancum (talk) 20:38, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Ruby (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Deprecated and unused. Renominated per Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2010_January_24#Template:Ruby and alternately suggest incorporating {{ruby-zh-p}}, {{ruby-zh-b}}, and {{ruby-ja}} per Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2009_December_4#Template:Ruby. E.g. {{ruby|ja|FOO}} can replace {{ruby-ja|FOO}}. Does this seem reasonable? If consensus is to fold these templates into one, then I will suggest deletion or redirection of the other three. —Justin (koavf)TCM01:34, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge to {{Ruby}} adding a lang parameter to the Ruby template. Otherwise disable or delete Ruby as unnecessary. (Note: A disabled template has all content in <noinclude> tags.) – allennames 11:02, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
