[edit]Re-evaluation of maintenance tags in article Geoffrey C. Fox
[edit]Hello to all computing and physics biographists, please have a look at the article Geoffrey C. Fox, namely the maintenance-tags that were added in the edit https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Geoffrey_C._Fox&diff=787972240&oldid=787972073. The wikipedian who added these tags, User:Blueclaw, is inactive since mid-2019. I think the article has been improveed significantly since then (not by me). Please decide how to behave with these tags. Or does en Wikipedia have a better place for posting this question? Thanks in advance! --Himbeerbläuling (talk) 16:50, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
- Hi! Definitely the article has improved significantly, however, I would highly recommend to add some reliable sources in the reference section. May be switching "Notes" to "References" might just do the work. But still I will highly recommend to review WP:BLPP before removing the tag. I hope this helps! :) Cheers, Nanosci (talk) 18:49, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
- I think you meant WP:BLP. --Lambiam 20:38, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oh yes! You are right. Apologies for the typo and thank you for fixing it. :) Cheers, Nanosci (talk) 21:10, 28 December 2022 (UTC)

- @Himbeerbläuling, this Reference Desk is for general-knowledge questions not directly related to improving articles on the project. If you want to raise support for that kind of thing, you can appeal to one of the WikiProjects in charge, such as Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Biography/Science and academia. May I also suggest Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Computing, even though that WikiProject is not tagged on Fox's article. Elizium23 (talk) 18:56, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
