The adventurous, with hiking experience, are cordially invited to join Railroad bronies, and your fellow Wikipedians, on a hike from a resort north of Jacumba Hot Springs proper to Goat Canyon Trestle. This will be the 46th meetup held in San Diego County.

Getting there
[edit]There is only one public transit option to get to Jacumba Hot Springs, which is the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System rural route 888, which does not operate eastbound in the morning.
The best option is to contact other hike attendees and carpool; bring cash to pay for parking at the resort (~$5/person).
What to bring
[edit]Here is a list of suggested items to bring for the hike:
- Hiking shoes/boots
- Warm weather, full cover clothing
- Sturdy backpack
- Plenty of water
- Flashlight/headlamp
- Camera
- Food/Snacks
- Other hiking equipment
- Hiking stick
- Map
- Compass
- etc.
Remember you will need to hike out anything you bring in.
