From Cumbria, we cover the City of Carlisle and the districts and boroughs of Allerdale, Barrow-in-Furness, Copeland, Eden and South Lakeland, as well as all articles relevant and important to the area, such as the Lake District and Hadrian's Wall.
If you plan to be active in editing the articles above, or articles related to them, please add your name to the participants list below. We discuss the project on our talk page and you are most welcome to join in the discussion there.

template added to the article's talk page.

Wikimedia Commons
[edit]Sometimes there are a number of images also on Wikimedia Commons related to articles. Therefore this WikiProject recommends that you add a Wikimedia Commons link to the references section of an article. The templates to the right can be added to link through to the revelant category using {{commonscat|Lancashire}}
. Please remember to always change Lancashire to the revelant articles' name.
There are now a large number of photographs on Commons that have been imported from the Geograph project. However, many of these have been categorised by a bot which sometimes puts photos in the wrong category, and others have not been categorised at all. You can use this tool to search for photos (categorised or not): zoom in to the area of interest. You can help by adding or changing the categories to something relevant.
