2019 Pac-12 football season template

[edit]

Can you change the Pac-12 football template from red to blue because there's one team. 68.103.78.155 (talk) 02:03, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

could you provide a link to what you are referencing? WelpThatWorked (talk) 05:35, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like they are impatient for someone to create Template:2019 Pac-12 football standings. —teb728 t c 06:10, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I thought he meant the template was red, not the link :P WelpThatWorked (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:30, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Went ahead and created it. Not sure whether the teams in each division should be realphabetized or left in the 2018 order. Someone else's fun...Naraht (talk) 13:37, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

False information posted

[edit]

I just googled about the relations between Mexico and the US and it said (in summary) that a secure border is mandatory for bipartisanship. That a wall is necessary? Which is clearly political. How can I complain that it is false information? I don’t want to update the information, just flag it. Is that a possibility?

Thanks,

Jessica — Preceding unsigned comment added by Foxigurl (talkcontribs) 05:43, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jessica, you are free and encouraged to fix the article yourself, but if you want help from other editors you will need to name the specific page. (Also, please remember to sign your comments in discussions with four tildes: ~~~~) – Teratix 05:51, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Discography for Shakila Karim and not showing up on the page

[edit]

Help:Cite errors/Cite error included ref Just updated the discography for Shakila Karim and it's not showing up on the page. Please advise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Newworld2007 (talkcontribs) 13:22, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In this edit you added empty reference tags. I see that you've removed one of the tags, but you need to remove the others. --David Biddulph (talk) 13:33, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You also removed the termination from a table, but another editor has cured that for you. --David Biddulph (talk) 13:36, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) @Newworld2007: In one of your edits you removed the '|}' that closed the table. Also you linked to a page about the power source Electricity rather than a song. Eagleash (talk) 13:38, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Portals overwhelming our community page?

[edit]

Can we get some comments at the fact we list hundreds of automated portals on our community page. Pls see Wikipedia talk:Community portal#Time to get rid of the portal spam.--Moxy (talk) 14:45, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is for help, not shopping around for people to join your proposal. WelpThatWorked (talk) 15:31, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube Sign

[edit]

Hello wikipedians, Is there any Icon/Logo/Sign for YouTube which I can use it instead of writing Youtube in links? Thank you for reply.Gholaghabijan (talk) 15:17, 22 December 2018 (UTC)بیژن[reply]

@Gholaghabijan: In what context? Within the context of Wikipedia, no, you need to type in the link -- which really doesn't matter too much because most Youtube videos are not reliable sources. Ian.thomson (talk) 15:25, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I want it for External link. I guess this is a good graphic design in online encyclopedia.Gholaghabijan (talk) 15:42, 22 December 2018 (UTC)بیژن[reply]

@Gholaghabijan: It's not often that Youtube links are appropriate external links either: see WP:ELNO. Ian.thomson (talk) 15:45, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The answer is no we don't put a logo or image with youtube or other linos. Legacypac (talk) 11:52, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Should Template:cite press release be used for quoted texts?

[edit]

I was looking for a S&P original report on the effects of the October 2013 shutdown on the economy but could only find full quotes of the report such as this one. Should I use Template:cite press release or the more general Template:cite news since the reproduction is on a news website? —The Editor's Apprentice (TalkEdits) 18:57, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I do not any press release here. Ruslik_Zero 19:23, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Neither do I :D Lourdes 07:13, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request to restoring an article

[edit]

How do I request for a deleted article to be restored?--SirEdimon (talk) 20:35, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Deletion review to try to have one restored to the encyclopedia - or talk to the administrator who did the deletion to possibly get a copy to work on and make improvements. Rmhermen (talk) 21:05, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much. The admin, as I can see based on his contributions, is pretty much inactive. This why I asked here. Thank you for your kind help.--SirEdimon (talk) 23:33, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Archive issue

[edit]

Hi, I'm trying to use Lowercase Sigmabot III to archive my talk page, and it's not working! Please help, before I get drowned under all these sections!
Thanks, CrazyMinecart88 (talk | contribs) 21:52, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@CrazyMinecart88: The archive location must be a subpage of the talk page. Fixed in [1]. PrimeHunter (talk) 22:51, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to create it, put it in your draft space. However it appears you have a COIWelpThatWorked (talk) 22:35, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Diego Simonet

[edit]

Hi, I was looking at Diego Simonet and something is wonky with the infoboxes but it's beyond my level of expertise to fix it. Could someone help? Thanks. Red Fiona (talk) 23:33, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Redfiona99: The embedded infobox was missing | embed = yes.[2] See Wikipedia:WikiProject Infoboxes/embed. The parameter is shown at Template:Infobox officeholder#Embedding other templates but not documented at Template:Infobox handball biography. PrimeHunter (talk) 00:55, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
