Original – An Armenian woman dressed in a national costume poses on a hillside near Artvin (in present day Turkey), circa 1910.
Alt 1 – Gently restored version from original TIFF file from Library of Congress. Blatant CMY colors removed from edges, color spots removed throughout. Remainder of photograph untouched.
Reason
A beautiful colored rendition of a photograph taken around 1910 of an Armenian woman in traditional attire. High EV. Good quality.

I've added the full image as an alt. I attempted to remove the CMY(k) colors from the edges and obvious color spots throughout. Shifts in the color for the rest of the image were not touched as this was not an attempt to recreate the actual photograph. I did not mess with contrast or sharpness. The image description page will be updated momentarily (in case someone sees it before I get done with it). – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 22:19, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I just found out the three negatives are available to download and can be pasted into the R, G, and B channels respectively. pretty cool. Alt 1 already had the work done for me, but anyone else is free to give it a whirl if they'd like (I'm downloading it now to try it anyway). – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 22:59, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
