I am nominating this featured article for review because it suffers from severe underreferencing (criteria 1c) and the prose is choppy (criteria 1a), such as a couple one-sentence paragraphs and phrasings like "many of which are uninhabited or destroyed nowadays." — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:07, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Almost every online source is missing author info.
- "Etymology" is only two sentences. Can this be merged somewhere?
- Many unsourced sentences in Geography.
- "Before this school was built" — vague
- "Australia, New Zealand, etc." — also vague. There should be no reason to use "etc." in an article.
- "Culture" is also very undersourced.
- Overall, the prose is really choppy.
- While not a FAR problem, there are many dead sources that should be fixed.

- Nikkimaria asked me if I have any more concerns. I'll take an in-depth look later, but a quick comment: there are at least two places where footnotes are not in numeric order. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:17, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Agree with TPH, etymology is really short, prose rather choppy.
- File:Pacific Islands Forum Logo.svg - I really doubt that's free or entirely the uploader's own work.
- There's monsoons above, but no cyclones below. Hmm? Also, drought is repeated twice.
- Satellite image doesn't need a reference in the caption.
- Watch for overlinking; phosphate has been linked several times. Australian dollar too.
- Prose is quite choppy. Example: 97 per cent of men and 93 per cent of women are overweight or obese. - Sentences should not start with numbers
- That's it from me. Much better than it was three weeks ago. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:19, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - It looks like quite a bit of work has been done here. Can we get an update as to whether this article should be kept before FARC, or whether it should be moved? Dana boomer (talk) 13:11, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- My concerns are addressed. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:53, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Seconded. All of my concerns have been addressed too. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 00:19, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
