Filipino singer Regine Velasquez has performed many concert residencies during her career. After her debut, she began performing a series of shows in bars and lounges. By the early 1990s, she staged Regine Animated (1994) and Regine Unplugged (1995) at the Music Museum, consisting of 12 shows. Her residencies in the 2000s featured overarching themes. She staged Regine at the Movies at the Onstage Theater in 2001, encompassing 17 shows in which she performed film soundtracks. Songbird Sings (2002) covered 15 shows and featured songs taken from the albums in Velasquez's discography. She paid tribute to the music of American singer Barbra Streisand in Songbird Sings Streisand (2003), comprising 12 shows. With Reflections (2005), Velasquez sang songs that influenced her life and music career, while Ang Ating Musika (2007), in homage of Original Pilipino Music, showcased the works of Filipino composers and songwriters. In 2015, she featured various selections from musicals in Regine at the Theater. Devoid of front acts or special guests, Velasquez staged Solo at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in 2023.

This is a collection of Regine Velasquez's residencies. After the topic of her concerts was promoted to GT, I am following it with this nomination. I started this project, concurrently with the other topic, around 2022, working on articles with substantial coverage of her residencies. All articles in this proposed topic have been brought to GA status, with the main article being featured status. I believe this now meets WP:GT criteria. Happy to address your comments and thanks to all who take the time to review. --Pseud 14 (talk) 20:02, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Pseud 14: All of the titles linked in the list are promoted to good article or higher. Is there a reason you're not putting all 23 of these, the 7 unique articles here and the 16 articles from Wikipedia:Featured topics/Regine Velasquez concerts, into one topic? It could then be a sub topic of Wikipedia:Featured topics/Overview of Regine Velasquez (the live concerts list). I guess I'm just wondering why go with two separate good topics instead of a good topic of live concerts as a subtopic of the main article. Or can you have two subtopic of one item? If so, that renders my question moot. Hey man im josh (talk) 12:56, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Hey man im josh: The separation into another topic for residencies (which I noted in my previous nomination statement of the live concerts GT) is generally due to residencies being singled out as distinct from "concerts" (tours, headlining concerts, co-headlining concerts, benefit concerts, etc.). The have been referred to as "Concerts (tours) and residencies" or "Concerts (tours)" and "Concert residencies" in many navbox categories from what I've seen in music articles [1] [2] [3]). As for being a subtopic, I don't think I've seen a subtopic under an "Overview of an [Artist]" i.e. artist's discography with a subtopic, or live performances with a subtopic. That's why I went with the separate GT approach. (which hopefully is still ok, as it doesn't seem to be cherry-picking in this regard). Lmk. Pseud 14 (talk) 13:39, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm no expert here. I figure there's no reason that, if all the live performances in the list that have articles are promoted, they couldn't be a subtopic under the main topic. I'm just not familiar if we've ever had two sub topics. As for your rationale, that makes sense why you broke them up into their own topics. I was just looking at it from the sub topic angle. - @Hey man im josh: No worries happy to clarify. I also haven't seen "two subtopics" under one article. So at the risk of doing it wrong, I went with the current approach. Let me know if you have more queries or if this resolves it? Pseud 14 (talk) 13:48, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
