Heya ZappoMan
[edit]Welcome back to Wikipedia! I was worried about doxxing you, but I see from User:ZappoMan that you aren't planning on staying anonymous. I see your early stuff (from 2012) was deleted, and... uhm.... yeah, I'm not surprised. Still, welcome back to English Wikipedia! I also see from Special:Contributions/ZappoMan that you've made another a change to List of presidents of the United States who owned slaves, which I'm pretty sure shouldn't have been reverted. It looks like User:Drdpw already reverted it. Bummer. I'm still hoping you're able to make the change stick. You did dive into the deep end of the Wikipedia pool with that edit. I see from Talk:List of presidents of the United States who owned slaves that you're already mixing it up on the talk page. You may also want to ask for help on Wikipedia:Teahouse, since they're way more reliable at quickly answering new user questions (I'm pretty slow). Thanks for filling in your user page, since having a redlink on your user page doesn't make you look like a reliable Wikipedia editor. You may want to link to User:RobLa rather than just putting my username there, but I suppose I can make that change. Anyway, good luck! I may drop more remarks on Talk:List of presidents of the United States who owned slaves. -- RobLa (talk) 19:19, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
The Supersuckers
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Supersuckers has been reverted.
Your edit here to The Supersuckers was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/Black-Supersuckers-Sub-Pop-Demos/release/14385535) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:21, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- I reverted the good faith (but poorly executed) bot-edit by User:XLinkBot. I also recommend that User:XLinkBot make the automatically created comment a shorter comment and a link User_talk:XLinkBot#July_2020 perhaps. -- RobLa (talk) 19:52, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

Notability
[edit]You may want to have a look at the notability guidelines for music. Specifically that a recording may be notable if it "Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble who created it." I would encourage you to take the nicely formatted track listings and combine them into a single discography, as suggested by the guideline: "articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged into the artist's article or discography." Cheers. Wnissen (talk) 00:45, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- Hello, Wnissen - can you give me some more context for your comment here? Are you referring to the pages I recently added from Tad (band) or The Supersuckers? If so, in these cases, the artists already had similar articles for their other albums. And those albums were already listed in the discography. I'll admit I'm new to editing on wikipedia, but it seems like there is a precedence set with these artists and their works that would suggest it is already notable. Am I misunderstanding? Does an artist become no-longer notable? Thanks. -- ZappoMan (talk) 01:30, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, you are perceptive, that's exactly what I'm suggesting. I've never edited on the music side, so maybe it is considered normal to have separate pages for each album. Mainly the issue I see is the independent notability. Wnissen (talk) 05:12, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice Wnissen (talk), I have found several independent reviews of these albums from various third party credible sources, I will make a point of fleshing out the contents of these stub articles to include citation of these sources. Although I think that if I'm reading the notability guidelines correctly the article doesn't per se need to include citations, just that these sources must exist and be readily available upon review. I will continue to work on these articles. Thanks again for the encouragement. -- ZappoMan (talk) 15:31, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- Greetings @Wnissen:, thanks for your advice and help with me learning how to be a better contributor to English Wikipedia. Do you have any thoughts on my questions about notability over here: - Draft_talk:Quick_and_Dirty#Notability_Questions -- ZappoMan (talk) 20:21, 24 July 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for this new article. Note that it is an "Orphan" meaning that no other Wikipedia articles link TO it. This makes the article tough to find for interested readers. See WP:DE-ORPHAN for pointers.
