Hello, Gran2 and I are working on the Sideshow Bob page here and we have a pretty good start, but it still has a ways to go. Would you be interested in helping out with copyediting/sources? Thanks for the time, Scorpion0422 20:01, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very little of the article is actually about the last two episodes, so that isn't a big problem. The big thing Gran and I are after are interviews in which Grammer mentions Bob in depth, we haven't had a lot of luck with those. Anything about Cultural influence would be great too. -- Scorpion0422 04:10, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was wondering if you could try and find the original magazine version of the EW Top 25 Simpsons episodes from a few years ago. The online version only includes the list, but the actual article includes an introduction in which Bob is referred to as "Frasier pickled in arsenic" or something along those lines. I can't find the exact quote anywhere online, so I was wondering if you would be able to find it. Also, would you be able to find the exact article of Wizard that ranks Bob as the 66th greatest villain of all time? Thanks, Scorpion0422 04:00, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dubs Article

[edit]

Well, I'm relatively certain that that is the correct article. However, as I had stated when I first started the Hevstaf article, the source that I looked at was a paper one and not the PDF/Online version. Assuming that the two were one and the same, I linked to the online article so as to give people easier access to it. I mean, think about it: Which is harder to come by: A PDF, or an original paper copy from 1941? My intent in citing it this way was to make the verifiability of this source more readily accessible, which is now proving...ironic. Do you have a hard copy from 1941? It was not difficult to find for me, because the University of Baltimore and Johns Hopkins have a resource exchange that, between the both of them, is considerable. I found the article nearly a year ago, however. I'd have to look it up again, to verify that it is the correct article. If it is, and the hard copy differs from your PDF, how do we handle that? Will you have to order an original hard-copy, or would you be satisfied with a scan of the text that differs from the PDF? Thanks for not just jumping down my throat. [A] Streetcar Named Desire

[edit]

Sooooo...does that mean that we should follow that particular manual of style? It looks awfully inane, like a hypercorrection. Reginmund 02:05, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not to be pushy, but I think we should include the article. Apparently, it appears to be much more common[1][2] Reginmund 02:14, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Now that I think about it, this is quite a silly discussion. Why don't we just re-word it to:

In the episode, Marge wins the role of Blanche DuBois in a musical version of Tennessee Williams' play A Streetcar Named Desire. Reginmund 02:21, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, actually it does have the advantage of informing the reader that the reference is to the play and not the film which can be somewhat ambiguous. Only for the cost of six extra glyphs. Reginmund 02:28, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I am kind of foreign to that manoeuvre. How does it work? Reginmund 03:13, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Sorry about the confusion on the AfD page. Of course I meant Zebraic. But it didn't occur to me to look at the name until I had already opened the edit window, and I read off the wrong line.

Peace. - Che Nuevara 22:24, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would you mind taking a look at the page and letting me know what you think? I've been working on the page and I think its pretty good. One issue might be completeness, as I only included awards with Wikipedia pages (see here for a full list) and I also didn't include any nominations for notable awards that I couldn't find any sources for. -- Scorpion0422 16:12, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm busy right now, so would you mind adding this stuff to the page? I'll look it over later. -- Scorpion0422 19:13, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I went and converted a bunch of stuff to table format. What do you think now? I'll get around to putting all of the choice awards into a table too, but I don't have sources (other than IMDB) for the noms (just the winners), although the noms don't mean that much. As for the EMA Awards, you would not believe how hard it is to find sources for them before 2001. IMDB only mentions the first 3 awards they won, and the official EMA site says they won 2 in post-2001 years. According to the official Simpsons press release (which can be found in the first reference on the page), they have won 7 EMAs. So, I used the DVD commentary for Bart the Mother as one source, and a six year old article as the other. -- Scorpion0422 04:09, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay thanks. While your at it, try and find a source for "International Monitor Award". According to this, The Simpsons has won nine of them, and yet I think the award is defunct, because I can't find an official website. Finally, Gran2 and I compiled a list of episodes that we think should be the projects top priority for getting to GA/FA status. If you get bored, you might want to take a look. -- Scorpion0422 04:39, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your help so far. According to SNPP, it won one for HomR (still need an RS though), IMDB says they also won one in 1995 (although it doesn't mention the episode). As for your refs, would you be able to find the specific award recipients? -- Scorpion0422 13:51, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Last night I went to sleep and woke up thinking I needed to fix a couple of things. I put too many Expressway sections in (that go beyond the South Side) and I have to add state recreation areas. I was also wondering if you think we should include the community area numbers throughout the article instead of just the section with the map. Are you neutal, weak support, weak oppose right now? If there are any specific changes you would like to see let us know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TonyTheTiger (talkcontribs) 14:18, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The season 9 FT drive that has been kicking around for a while has suddenly gained some momentum and if you'd be willing to help out, it would be much appreciated. You can find out more here. I know you had expressed interest in working on The Principal and the Pauper, so I reserved it for you if you want to work on it. -- Scorpion0422 01:42, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you get the chance could you see if you could find any good info about The Cartridge Family? Reviews, controversy and production info, especially to source two points that weren't mentioned in the commentary, but were in the article anyway. Thanks. Gran2 10:40, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There was an interview Harry Shearer did where he blasted the episode (it's mentioned in Planet Simpson) and if we can find the original interview, it would be great. Principal and the Pauper is the most obvious FA of season 9, so I think it should be our highest priority.

And just getting back to the list of awards, I've had no luck whatsoever with the reliable sources for the International Monitor Awards, so I'll just use the official website as a source and add it to the infobox at the top. -- Scorpion0422 13:29, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for those, the balanced it out alot. There's still something in the production that needs a source, so I contacted the user who added it, hoping he has a source. Although it is unlikely he does... Anyway, I put two P and the P sources on Scorp's talk page, which may be of some use. Gran2 11:02, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just a quick thing, could you possibly copy any text from this article: Stephen Kiehl, "Homersexual debate splits Springfield," The Ottawa Citizen, February 12, 2005, pg. L.7. and paste it on my talk page? I'm currently working on the Smithers page and I've been told that that article has some good stuff. Thanks, Scorpion0422 03:54, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot, although unfortunately the article doesn't contain what I had hoped. Would you mind taking a quick look at the "Role in The Simpsons" section on the Smithers page? I've been working on it, and I'm worried that it may be a bit too focused on his sexuality. -- Scorpion0422 05:25, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Simpsons

[edit]

That is wrong. Since their name is Simpson, possessive form is Simpson's. If their name was Jones, then it would be Jones' or if it was Simpsons, then it would be Simpsons' Ctjf83 03:59, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well before I read your post, I e-mailed my old college English teacher, cause I was not 100% sure, so we'll find out for sure tomorrow, by a professional. BTW, just cause it is Google, doesn't mean it is accurate for grammar, as in The Simpsons episode "Burns' Heir", that is improper, since he is a singular person, it should be Burns's heir. If she says my way is right, I'll link you to the e-mail, and prove she is an English teacher...if u don't believe me that is, we'll wait till tomorrow. Ctjf83 04:43, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well I'm sure the U of Oregon is accurate, so my apologies Ctjf83 04:48, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
ya, we're cool...i'll admit when i'm wrong. So which is right for burns? how can they each publish a different way? I've been on several missions to change all possesives to Burns's, when i'm on my anti-contraction mission. Ctjf83 05:11, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Robert S. Abbott House/Fort King

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for touching base with me on my talk page. I think the discussion about "Fort King Site" you refer to, is the talk within Talk:List of Chicago Landmarks. A legacy of that is reflected in a footnote on the List of Chicago Landmarks page itself, in the footnote for Robert S. Abbott House. My read of all that discussion is that more information is needed, no one present knew of the "Fort King Site" name. I grant that it may not be the current common name for the site, but the NRHP infobox title for NHL sites should reflect the NHL name for the site, which may be historic and different than current. For example, in New York State there is a site currently known as "Old Fort something", where the NHL name is "Fort something" because that is the NHL name for the site. A few people not knowing the name is not reason to assume that the historical NHL name for the site is incorrect, IMO. doncram 08:11, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Got your followups. The "Fort King Site" could conceivably be entirely an error, or it could be a historic local name for the house. The house is located on street named for ML King Jr Ave. Abbott was publisher of the Defender. Fort King is like saying Defender on King Ave, I am speculating. Yes, the NPS could be contacted. Please feel free to do so. I have added the issue to a running list of mine on discrepancies of NPS info. I would eventually get around to contacting them about it, along with other issues, but I am not about to contact them soon. If you want to, go ahead. If you want to see my running list, it is a user page of mine on NHL info issues but this running list is not ready to share to the NPS people yet. doncram 08:39, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your news note to me that the NPS has removed the incorrect "Fort King Site" name from the NHL webpage for the site. I checked the other items which I had reported and found that they also fixed one other blatant error (a similarly completely misnamed article for a Washington D.C. NHL), but they did not fix lesser errors that I had reported to them. My tracking at User:Doncram/NHLinfo#Possible errors in National Historic Landmark summaries now shows update for this fixes. Note the name for the NHL webpage now should be "Abbott, Robert S., House", to be consistent with other NHL webpage names, rather than "Abbott, Robert S. House", but at least it is not a complete misnomer any longer. doncram (talk) 22:45, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hiddily-ho! Myself and another user have been working on The Joy of Sect and he thinks it may be ready for a shot at FA status. I was wondering if you would mind taking a look at the page, and giving your verdict here. Thanks, Scorpion0422 03:30, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Some issues are being discussed back and forth at the FAC, but I thought that the issues you brought up with the colons and such might be easier to address. I went back and (3) of the specific points you brought up at the FAC. Might you be willing to either take a second look, or perhaps even help us to address and fix up some of the points you raised so that the article is of FA status to your liking? Curt Wilhelm VonSavage 16:52, 6 November 2007 (UTC).[reply]
    • Thanks for your help. Any particular things to focus on, from a copyediting point of view, that we could both do to improve the article? I don't want you to feel like you have to fix all the minor points. Curt Wilhelm VonSavage 22:28, 6 November 2007 (UTC).[reply]
      • I addressed a couple more of your suggestions from the FAC. Curt Wilhelm VonSavage 23:57, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
        • I fixed the second sentence in the "Themes" section, broke it up into two smaller sentences. I looked for instances of "got" in the article, but I couldn't find any. As per your suggestion I am now going to do another read through of the article, trying to put myself in the shoes of someone less familiar with the episode and its topics. Are you still of the same initial opinion that you made earlier in the FAC, or something different? Curt Wilhelm VonSavage 06:06, 7 November 2007 (UTC).[reply]
          • Thanks for saying that FA seems like a realistic goal! Definitely if you post specific suggestions about sentences that could use improvement, it will be easier for us to work from those, rather than general suggestions. And that way, you won't have to do all the work yourself. Thanks again so much for all of your help already. Curt Wilhelm VonSavage 07:05, 7 November 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Hi, Zagalejo

I hope this is the correct way to do this. Here goes....

Yes, I do sometimes go into my bio entry to update it with info, but more importantly, I sometimes notice that people place confusing "clarifications" that merely stumble over old mistakes.

I did not come up with the phrase "world's greatest living cryptozoologist," and that comes out of being introduced as such venues as at FT's UnCon in London in the 1990s, by Craig Woolheater in Texas (2001), and as recently as by John Horrigan at the "Mass Monster Mash" 2007 conference. Do you wish for me to provide references?

As to the various editions of Mysterious America, also, sorry for any feeling of it being self-promotion. I merely was trying to clean up the publishing information that there are very different editions for 1983, 2001, and now 2007. But, yes, I hear what you are saying, and I will be careful about any over dramatic wording. Hey, what can I say. I don't write dryly. :-)

As to citations for my work that are not from LorenColeman.com and from Cryptomundo.com (where I blog but do not run it), I was just sent the following bibliography by a library researcher. I share it for your use or merely to peruse. At this point, I feel I should not be the one to add it from what I am getting from the user talk. It's your call, Zagalejo. Thank you.

Best wishes Loren Coleman lcoleman {@} maine.rr.com

Hello

[edit]

Would you mind copy editing five articles for me? They're This Little Wiggy, Girly Edition, King of the Hill (The Simpsons), Lisa the Simpson, and The Trouble with Trillions. Thanks! xihix(talk) 21:57, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, it seems everyone wants you to take a look at various pages. Either way, I've been working on The Simpsons Halloween episodes and I quite like the way it turned out. I think it still needs some reorganising and clean up, but it could be a potential FA down the road. Could you take a look at it and let me know what you think? -- Scorpion0422 04:59, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's good. One thing I'm a tad concerned about is the use of the titles. In some sections, it seems a little repetitive to use Treehouse of Horror over and over again, but I guess it's better than using slang like "Treehouse" or "THOH" episodes. Is there any way that it could be made better? -- Scorpion0422 06:33, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've done about a dozen copyedits on the article, although it should be noted that I am not famed for my copyedit skills. I think the page has turned out very good, and I'm tempted to go for an FAC as soon as it passes as a GA. Would you mind taking a look at it again? Especially the reception section, which I think is the weakest part of the article. Thanks, Scorpion0422 06:17, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there is one for "Outstanding Animated Program (For Programming One Hour Or More)" -- Scorpion0422 00:41, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, it's referring to the special opening of episodes 2-12 which included Halloween themed couch gags. After that, they just showed the title, and the created by & developed by credits. -- Scorpion0422 05:21, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Werll, they never use the normal opening sequence, so each one technically would be modified. -- Scorpion0422 05:34, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The page is definitely better than it was a week ago because there was a useful peer review. What do ou think of it now? I still think the reception section is the weakest part. Any ideas? -- Scorpion0422 01:34, 25 November 2007 (UTC) She tells Bart to warn viewers that the episode is scary, so that wasn't a true warning. -- Scorpion0422 00:03, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't really matter to me, but the peer review we got did suggest that it be "The Simpsons". -- Scorpion0422 04:15, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The writer of the said article explained how the Filipinos incongruously translated every Philippine folksong during the American colonization as exemplified in the cases of "Sitsiritsit Alibangbang" and "Leron Leron Sinta" (translated as "Maria Went to Town"). Although the writer did not explicitly the translated title of "Sitsiritsit", he indicated that the translation of that song may make us laugh. Please note that the issue regarding 75.33.246.194 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) is not the content of his recent edits, but rather that he is editing at all. Allowing a banned user such as User:TyrusThomas4lyf to circumvent a block rewards persistence and deception. He was given plenty of chances, but ultimately alienated even those who tried to give him advice. By all means, if you find legitimate edits among his sock-puppetry history, feel free to add them back. In the AfD for the Giant-penguin hoax, you stated that the 1988 St. Petersburg Times article was available on Newsbank. Do you have access to Newsbank to verify some of the claims in the article? I am trying to rewrite it, since the grammar and structure were horrible, but unfortunately, only the 2006 St. Petersburg Times article is of real use (the Daytona Beach News-Journal link Dan Hartung supplied doesn't work, and the third only briefly mentions Sanderson getting suckered in by hoaxers). At the very least, it would be nice to add it to the references list at the bottom. For that, I'd need the name of the article, and the date it was published (I know the reporter's name, and the newspaper in which it appeared.) Thanks! Horologium t-c 20:47, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So what do you think of the page now? If you approve, I'll try for an FAC this weekend. -- Scorpion0422 02:04, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I used three of the articles about the first THOH, thanks a lot. Would you be able to find anything about the decline in quality of the episodes? Life a review of THOHs X or XI? -- Scorpion0422 02:27, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think there are enough reviews although I'll take a look through EW and IGN and see if I can get some useful stuff. Based on the comment, I think it was meant that the instrument itself couldn't hit the necessary notes, but I'm not really an expert on theramins, so I can't elaborate. And for the article, it would be for Treehouse of Horror XV, right? As for "Treehouse of Horror" needing quotations, when I was working on the article, I debated on that myself but I think that since it's a series of episodes, it should be in italics. Plus it makes it easier to distinguish between when the article is talking about the series, and when it's talking about the first episode. -- Scorpion0422 04:36, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think I've done everything I can, so I nominated the page. However, perhaps a better lead image could be used. Any ideas? The only thing I can think of is a caption of the opening sequence of the first episode. -- Scorpion0422 04:07, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was going to use that, but I remembered that the on screen title of the first one is "The Simpsons Halloween Special" so using that might cause some confusion. -- Scorpion0422 04:56, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! In your vote on my candidacy you said simply "sorry". Could you please be a little more specific? --Hemlock Martinis (talk) 23:38, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No worries! Your concern is one that's come up often during my candidacy, and I don't really know how to counter it. In my mind, one shouldn't judge a person by how many days they've been here but by how they've spent those days, and not by how many decisions they've made but by how they arrived to those decisions in the first place. However, your concern is a valid one, and I appreciate you taking the time to clarify further. Cheers, Hemlock Martinis (talk) 01:34, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comments on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leslie Lynch King, Sr.. They definitely saved the article. I bought the book ($1 plus handling from Amazon). Need a little help

[edit]

I was wondering if you could do me a favour. I'm currently working on the Inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame page, and I need the names of the individual band member inductees from 2000. The three bands inducted that year were Earth, Wind & Fire, The Lovin' Spoonful and The Moonglows and for some reason the RRHOF website does not mention which individual members were inducted. I found a few sources at Google news, but you either have to have a subscription, or pay for them, and I don't really want to do either of those, so I was wondering if you could take a look for sources using your news thingy. Thanks, Scorpion0422 03:17, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Melon heads

[edit]

An editor has nominated Melon heads, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Melon heads and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:30, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes

[edit]

What is the name of the program you use to find print articles? I think Laurier has something along those lines, so I'll have to try and get access to it, because it certainly seems helpful. If we're going to keep all of the episodes, we'll have to add things that assert their notability, but I think we should start with the earlier seasons as they are more important. I was hoping to move on to getting the character pages up to guidelines (as I feel they are more important) but it looks like episodes are the higher priority right now (if we do want to keep them) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Scorpion0422 (talkcontribs) 04:20, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, perhaps you can help out with this article. This is pretty ridiculous, as it seems that a few editors simply don't agree with the statement. Everything about it is encyclopedic. All evidence points to "the greatest". I suppose I'll be blocked for no good reason... lol.

Centralized TV Episode Discussion

Discussion is here [3]. --Maniwar (talk) 19:24, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Xihix asked me to ask you if you had any ideas of stuff to ask Bill in our return e-mail, so if you have any ideas, post it on Xihix's talk page or the WT:Simpsons page. I'm kind of disappointed because although it was my idea, I decided not to message him at NHC because he probably wouldn't have taken my user name there seriously but oh well. Anyway, one issue is that we were hoping we might be able to get some good info on some episodes (like Homer's Enemy because he was absent in the commentary) but the problem is that it would have to be published so it can be verifiable and thus useable in FAs. Do you have any ideas of where/how this could be posted, short of asking him to start his own website? -- Scorpion0422 04:15, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just discovered that the DVD includes an animatic, storyboard and illustrated commentary for the episode. It's not an easter egg, it's just in the extras section. Anyway, I expanded the page with a little more info about the animation and some details about some of the larger scenes that were changed (ie. the scene where Homer interrupts the rehearsal, and the entire second part of Maggie's subplot are completely different). Gary Forrester article

[edit]

Thanks Zagelejo for your work on the Gary Forrester article, and greetings from New Zealand. A lot of work has gone into the article, as you can see, to make it as well researched and good-quality as possible. Not sure what the anonymous guy was trying to accomplish. Cheers, --Georgette.mccallum (talk) 06:36, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Gary Forrester article has a long history of self-edits and edits by family members. The claims to notability are based upon exaggerations and distortions. For example, an endorsement is claimed by Random House on the basis of a mention in a book that a Random House subsidiary published in Australia. And contributions to a Forrester "novel" by famous writer are claimed when in fact the book in question is an anthology of baseball stories published by a small academic publisher in the U.S., and Forrester's contribution amounts to only a few pages of the book, buried in the book's middle. With each challenge to notability (there have been many, over a period of two years, by many users), the embellishments grow and grow, as the subject of the article and his family members get more sophisticated at gaming Wikipedia. 72.241.101.20 (talk) 13:51, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi to Zagelejo and tothe anonymous user - Zagelejo, whoever this is has some basic facts just plain wrong. Random House operates all over the world. Random House is Random House, and the book that was published in Australia was a Random House publicaton, expressly. This criticism is hard to understand. And the other claim is factually wrong. Nowhere does the article state that there were contributions to either of Forrester's novels by "famous writers." What the article does state, honestly and with citation, is that a lengthy excerpt from Forrester's second novel was published by the University of Nebraska Press in 2007, in an anthology with a number of other writers, many of whom are household names. Yes, many family members (including myself) have been active in the development of the article, but that was made clear on Wikipedia right at the outset in conversations with Random on the discussion page. The emphasis has been on facts and citations, because an earlier effort at the article was, as the anonymous user rightly points out, flawed. Cheers--Georgette.mccallum (talk) 18:57, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
User Georgette.mccallum has been going around spreading misinformation and ascribing ill intent to two prods I made, to Gary Forrester and Gerald Shapiro, both of which seem to me to be less than notable, and apparently has been involving other users, because I have been receiving messages instigated by Georgette.mccallum. I don't know how to take the articles to afd as I am a new user, but would be happy to participate in afd proceedings. Frankly, I don't understand why a prod gets responded to in such a personal and huffy manner. I've made lots of helpful edits to bios of truly notable writers, which these two are not. And, yes, there is much that is exaggerated in the Forrester bio, which, if you look at the history, is being edited by Forrester and four of his children exclusively.

As I understand it, under the rules of WP: BIO, these two Wikipedia entries are not notable. I'm unhappy that the posse is being rounded up in this way over a procedural matter. Please help me understand how one goes about responding properly to this. 72.241.101.20 (talk) 00:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I decided to clean up and expand the article and at the moment it is still rather rough. Basically what I did was condense the article and add sources and I think most of the important stuff is mentioned, but there are some things I wanted to expand, such as Krusty being a jaded has-been. Some things also shoulds be rearranged. So could you take a look at it? Thanks, Scorpion0422 16:55, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I probably need to verify which player retired first (Johnson or Thorpe). The other player would be the last player to have been a member of the Kings while they were still in Kansas City.

Sort of like Moses Malone being the last NBA player remaining from the old ABA when he retired.

I've decided to send the questions off tomorrow. Since we are posting the interview on WikiNews, I decided to ask some more general questions that he may have already answered before. My logic behind this is that it will all be in one useable source and he may give a different, more detailed answer than he has before. However, I've been trying to compile a list of 20 questions and I can't think of any more. Do you have any ideas? Thanks, Scorpion0422 01:54, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When using certain templates on talk pages such as {{Welcome7}}, don't forget to substitute the template by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:Welcome7}} instead of {{Welcome7}}. This reduces server load and lets the user see the version of the message they received without it changing.
