What Wikipedia means to me
[edit]Wikipedia is my portable encyclopedia. Everywhere I go, when I have a phone with me, the first thing I use to research about things I want to learn more about is Wikipedia. I consider it to be the greatest work that we humans have collaborated to create.
Happy 15th Birthday Wikipedia!

Thanks for the cookies! I've also been on Wikipedia for a while, but I've always been scared of breaking something or editing something wrong, even on the Sandbox! That's why I only make minor edits such as fixing typos (and forget to log in half of the time and end up having my IP shared publicly).
And I'm not sure if I sure consider myself a brony yet, but I started watching MLP a few months ago and I love the show! - Bousio (talk) 08:30, 6 July 2018 (UTC) |

"Admin-needed" RM/TR
[edit]For future awareness, the request you made here is not admin-only. Page movers can move redirects out of the way and delete single-revision redirects pointing at different targets -- the only moves specifically restricted to admins regard move-protected pages. I also see you moved the request from the main section to the admin-only section after placing it correctly the first time, and I'm interested in hearing why you did that. As WP:RM/TR is predominantly watched by page movers, requests in that section tend to take longer to be fulfilled. Vaticidalprophet 13:22, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. I was unaware that page movers were a distinct user right, and on second thought, assumed that an administrator would be necessary since I as an extended confirmed user didn't have the permissions needed. I've taken the liberty of linking "page mover" on WP:RMT to its page and adding extra clarification to the notice for the understanding of future users. Yutah123|UPage|(talk)✶ 13:38, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
- Fair enough, thank you! It's not uncommon for things to end up in the wrong section; I'm considering writing an information page laying out the circumstances things should be placed there in better detail, although it's in the theory stage right now. Vaticidalprophet 13:56, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for understanding. I think that's a fine idea. Anything that helps Wikipedia is good, and I imagine the people who come to make requests (like me) are often unfamiliar with the system, so a proper contextual guide would be wonderful. Something like the lead of WP:REFUND? Yutah123|UPage|(talk)✶ 14:19, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

"Yutah"
[edit]Hey! I noticed that you requested to usurp this user and, while I can't do anything to help with that, I have to wonder if you chose the name because of the US state of Utah or if it's purely coincidence that they sound (and are almost spelled) the same. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 21:02, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
- Pure coincidence. Haven't been asked that question in a while, heh. Yutah123|UPage|(talk)✶ 15:00, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
I broke the Shipwrecks in 2022 page.
[edit]Could you fix it for me? I tried to add an image, but it isn't working. Could you fix the image code?
