Note: Please check the above template for what time it is in my location before sending a message as I may be asleep.
Note 2: When it is April fool's day, DO NOT TROUT ME as an April Fool's joke. In the past I had a trout button which I removed due to persistent abuse of it. If you trout me on April Fool's Day I will revert you and ask that you do not do it again.
Note 3: Any comments here regarding a vandal or from a blocked user that I was WP:AGF will be archived once I ensure there is nothing left to say per WP:DENY.
Note 4: If I remove your comment and you add it back, I will revert you and warn you for doing so. If you do it again after that then I will report you for harassment. This crap has gone on for way too long and I've become less and less tolerant of it. Removing comments from my own talk page is perfectly allowable per WP:OWNTALK.

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I last provided an update on what's going on. So, here's a quick update on my life and account. I still have work so I'm still not going to be nearly as active as I used to be, however I will try and maintain a somewhat regular activeness here on Wikipedia. I do have a mobile device but uh, mobile editing sucks so I probably will only use it for small edits rather than big ones. I'm not sure how active I'll be so for now I'm keeping my mentor status as away. ― Blaze WolfTalkblaze__wolf 19:54, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

- Hi Wolf. I'll add a reference to the story on James Dyson and repost. Didn't realise that everything needs a reference.

Tech News: 2024-26[edit]
Latest tech news from the Wikimedia technical community. Please tell other users about these changes. Not all changes will affect you. Translations are available.
Recent changes
- Editors will notice that there have been some changes to the background color of text in the diff view, and the color of the byte-change numbers, last week. These changes are intended to make text more readable in both light mode and dark mode, and are part of a larger effort to increase accessibility. You can share your comments or questions on the project talkpage. [1]
- The text colors that are used for visited-links, hovered-links, and active-links, were also slightly changed last week to improve their accessibility in both light mode and dark mode. [2]
Problems
- You can copy permanent links to talk page comments by clicking on a comment's timestamp. This feature did not always work when the topic title was very long and the link was used as a wikitext link. This has been fixed. Thanks to Lofhi for submitting the bug. [3]
Changes later this week
The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 25 June. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 26 June. It will be on all wikis from 27 June (calendar). [4][5]
- Starting 26 June, all talk pages messages' timestamps will become a link at English Wikipedia, making this feature available for you to use at all wikis. This link is a permanent link to the comment. It allows users to find the comment they were linked to, even if this comment has since been moved elsewhere. You can read more about this feature on Diff or on Mediawiki.org. [6]

Hello, I was wondering if you knew anything about un-deleting a page. I know that it didn't meet all the requirements and I understand that but someone deleted the page before I could even edit it. I am new to wikipedia, but would love to get my page un-deleted so it could follow the guidelines. This person disrespected me and my journalism ethics and I don't find that quite fair. --Arilynndh (talk) 22:40, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
To add onto my last question. I would like to say that my work has been looked over by my boss at the job I work at, and was not just thrown together to throw together. This is an assignment my job gave me and I would like to not get fired for trying to do something on this website. --Arilynndh (talk) 22:41, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
- No one "disrespected" you, and no one is going to restore your page. Your relationship with your boss has nothing to do with Wikipedia.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:47, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
Sorry to bother you[edit]
Hello Blaze Wolf,
Are you back at your computer to start the CVU training now.
If you want to delay it a few months that is fine, I thought that I'll just check.
