The article Ciarán McGuigan has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. かんぱい! Footballer infoboxes

Hello, and thanks for updating the appearances in footballer infoboxes. Please would you also at the same time update the date field, which is called either pcupdate= or club-update=, to keep the stats and the correct-as-of date in sync. This is easily done by typing 5 tildes, i.e. ~~~~~, after the pcupdate= instead of what's already there, the software will then turn that into the current date and time. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 11:04, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

The article Ytfc23/Sandbox/YeovilYouthPlayers/Rhys Baggridge has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:ATHLETE; has never played in a fully professional league.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mkativerata (talk) 21:02, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Yeovil youth players

Hi there - are you wanting to create this articles in your sandbox? At the moment they are not in the sandbox - they are in the article space. I'd be happy to help move them back to your sandbox for you. --Mkativerata (talk) 21:08, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Yes i am just making them in my sandbox until they make their first team appearances so please move them back. 21:09, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Excellent, I have moved the articles back to your sandbox. I'll fix the links on your sandbox page as well. See User:Ytfc23/Sandbox/YeovilYouthPlayers. --Mkativerata (talk) 21:13, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for that, much appreciated Ytfc23 (talk) 21:14, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi there - just letting know both mainspace articles are at AFD: here and here. This won't affect the Baggridge and Clowes pages that I moved to your userspace. --Mkativerata (talk) 08:40, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Did you mean to create this page in your user space rather than article space? Thanks! Jminthorne (talk) 19:45, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Yes i have just realised my self sorry please move it. Ytfc23 (talk) 19:46, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:Shaun MacDonald.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FinalRapture - 22:01, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Have now put a copyright tag on the file, hope that it is ok. I am happy to co-operate with any changes necessary as I do not believe that this image has a copyright issue. Ytfc23 (talk) 22:03, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for notifying me of the speedy deletion request you placed on this file. In the request, you use the template that states that the page is redundant and "does not expand upon, detail or improve information within the existing article(s) on the subject." I was under the impression that the infobox I created is virtually an identical copy of previous boxes created for previous United States international squads... why is this one any different from a Wikipedia redundancy standpoint? Jhortman (talk) 18:17, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Yes I hear your point but as I wrote on the template's talk page there is no issue with the box but it has already been created and linked up on another template Template:United States Squad 2010 FIFA World Cup. Ytfc23 (talk) 18:20, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Ah, I missed that one... not sure how I missed it, since I thought I looked in that place. Either way, like you said, it's resolved now. Jhortman (talk) 04:58, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

England squad numbers

Hi, do you have a source for the squad numbers you added to Template:England Squad 2010 World Cup? Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 20:40, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Well I assume that the ones on the page 2010 FIFA World Cup squads are correct. Ytfc23 (talk) 20:41, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Non-free files in your user space

Hey there Ytfc23, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Ytfc23/Sandbox/NewYeovil. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:37, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Footballer infobox

Hello. You may not be aware that the parameters which used to be called pcupdate and ntupdate on the older infoboxes are now called club-update and nationalteam-update. Please see the documentation for confirmation. Pcupdate and ntupdate still work, but they were renamed for clarity. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 19:18, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi, in the recent edit you made to this page you turned the long dashes (–) into short ones. This isn't right, – should be used on all Template:Infobox football biography 2 boxes, and anywhere on WP where two years are barreled. Thanks. —Half Price 19:46, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Honours

Be careful with your edits. Your last few changes have been to add honours to winners of the 2002–03 Youth Cup yet you're putting they won it in 2003–04 and linking to the 2002–03 final. Brad78 (talk) 19:31, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

David Coles (goalkeeper)

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give David Coles (goalkeeper) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you.
