Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Information icon Hello, I'm Goldlinexy. I have reverted your last edit at Slowthai following the principles set out in Wikipedia:DOREVERT. While I can imagine it was a good faith edit, it had multiple issues, including wrong/false information that can't be found in any source (for example this whole part was made up: Mr Nangala said that he was at the party for 10 minutes until he was informed of the alleged sexual abuse upstairs. Mr Nangala added that there were two women using slang to suggest 'there is an orgy happening. Mr Nangala made his way with Mr Frampton, Mr Blake-Walter and one other male to the rooftop before a 'burst' of shouting and swearing broke out), poor language, and the true information was pretty much copied 1 to 1 from the source. That's why I have reverted it to the previous version.

Also, over 2000 words for a one-day hearing is far too much. If we wanted to report it properly, we'd have to report every day which is simply impossible because the media doesn't cover it every day, and it would be about 20,000-30,000 words long (?) which is not necessary at all. Wikipedia "does not aim to contain all the information, data or expression known on every subject", in other words we don't copy-paste every single article about a particular subject. With that is mind, I agree with the previous editor who said that we should wait until the trial is complete and then shortly summarise it. Goldlinexy (talk) 23:32, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks, all good. I appreciate my formatting was incorrect. I also tried to only copy paste the quotations, but I understand where the mistakes were. Being quite a big Anne-Marie fan, I wanted to stay on top of what is going on, and I probably got a bit carried away. I assure you the information was not intended to be made up, I probably misunderstood the source. The part you have pasted in where you accused me of making it up is not a direct quotation from the article, so I understand the confusion. I had not seen the previous editor's comment about waiting, but I completely agree now. Apologies for the inconvenience. Youshouldchooseausernamethat (talk) 02:17, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's all right. Now I see that saying you made it up was too strong so I'm sorry. You probably misunderstood the information and made some connections that were not correct, and that's all. I'm glad we were able to resolve it. Goldlinexy (talk) 08:14, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
