Loosy70814, that revert was over a year ago. (On January 3rd, 2024) What made you decide to talk to me about it now? Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 22:56, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Just logged in and saw it. Loosy70814 (talk) 23:30, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from JoDokos (17:54, 25 January 2025)

[edit]

Hello Yoshi

I have a wikiquette question: I'm interested in correcting a few mistakes in this page (%'s in MANY political poll results)

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_next_Greek_parliamentary_election

Before proposing a change there, what do you thing of using a date range on 2nd column? It breaks ordering! and can't revert to the initial list. A single date of start and a column for duration and/or a column of finishing the field work wouldn't be better?

Am i missing something?

Thank you in advance Jo --JoDokos (talk) 17:54, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello JoDokos,
I've converted your link into a wikilink: Opinion polling for the next Greek parliamentary election. (That's a long article name.) Give me some time to look at it, that's a great question! Could you explain what you mean by date range on 2nd column? Which table are you talking about? This is just me letting you know that I saw your message, and will get back to you on it. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 20:55, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That was also my reaction for the name of the "article". It's actually raw data from polls btw. Not really an article, wrong place maybe better as wikidata? I was refering to the first quite long table in the "article", after the graph, with obvious broken sorting.
Thanks for the interest.
Jo JoDokos (talk) 15:22, 26 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
JoDokos, if you mean the table in the first "Polling" section, it seems to be already sorted by latest date on top, going down the list to earlier, meaning 2025 going down to 2023. If that's not what you mean, my apologies. We also have the ability to sort it by whatever parameter you want, if you look in each header of the table, there are two arrows, it'll let you sort the table by ascending and descending of each parameter, but by default I think it is by "descending" date. Hope this helps. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 19:10, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am actively supplementing the source. Hope you do not try to repair. I am very tired of this vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2401:D800:BF15:88A4:BCD2:4EDC:3B9D:B141 (talk) 21:34, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Just an FYI. Users can blank block notices on their talk page. The only thing they can't blank are rejected unblock requests WP:KEEPDECLINEDUNBLOCK. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 23:38, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Rsjaffe I know, I was trying to remove the extraneous extra text that had nothing to do with an unblock, and the notices got caught in my edit as well. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 23:39, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Salvador Quentin (06:16, 26 January 2025)

[edit]

How do I write an article --Salvador Quentin (talk) 06:16, 26 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

huh?

[edit]

bro I literally provided a source on the muazzin page and then you delete it for not giving a source??? I literally put sahih Bukhari 604 Rayaan94 (talk) 20:18, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Rayaan94, that is not a source. That does not link to anything, and nobody (other than you) knows what that means. See WP:RS for information about sources, and WP:REFB for help with referencing your material. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 20:21, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
bro a lot of people knows what that means. It’s literally a Hadith https://sunnah.com/bukhari:604 Rayaan94 (talk) 20:23, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Then link to it (in ref tags). Again, see WP:REFB for how to do that. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 20:24, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Birth and place of birth of Ildebrando Zacchini

Why are you changing the date and place of birth of Ildebrando Zacchini? 2A02:B125:12:7551:B3C1:3DB9:897D:9CD7 (talk) 21:26, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Raja Kam Dev Sikarwar

[edit]

I noticed the edit warring at Raja Kam Dev Sikarwar. Why did you revert {{db-banned}} added by the IP four times, for example diff? Was an explanation provided somewhere? I'm not commenting on the merits of the removal, just that if you are going to remove something four times in a short period, there must be a clear and easily accessible explanation, preferably in the first edit summary. Johnuniq (talk) 07:07, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Johnuniq, ugh this again, it brings up bad memories for me. I though it was a sock or LTA of somebody at first, so I was going off of the WP:DENY tactic, because you don’t just G5 a perfectly good article, then after I tried reporting the IP at WP:AIV, there was a whole conversation there about how it was not, and how it was actually a sock that was blocked (Huggle does not tell you if anybody is blocked as a sock) and so I gave up and ended up deleting the entire AIV report. Now I am kicking myself over it, and was trying to forget about my mistakes and move on. Yoshi24517 (mobile) (talk) (Very Busy) 12:26, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
