Jerusalem railway station c. 1890s

There you go: file:Jerusalem Railway Station2.jpg -- Michel Vuijlsteke (talk) 17:02, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Featured picture? I'm not sure. It may have a shot, but I can also imagine comments along the lines of "you can barely see the building itself". Which could then be answered in the vein of "yes, but a railway is more than just the building, this illustrates the rails that came from Belgium and the locomotives that came from X, etc.". I'll have a go, we'll see. :) -- Michel Vuijlsteke (talk) 19:26, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Re. Admin IRC

Hi there Ynhockey - hope you're well! I've just checked the access list for the admins channel and you're still on it so I'll run through how to get in. What you need to do is start up IRC and identify (/msg NickServ identify PASSWORD) and then to get into the admins channel, you need to type " /msg chanserv invite #wikipedia-en-admins". Hope that helps - Let me know if not. Ryan PostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 22:31, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

In response to your last note on Ryans talk page, you won't have to invite yourself if you get a "cloak". Wikipedia cloaks can be issued if you fill out the form at this page (this will take a while to be issued). Otherwise, you could get an "unaffiliated" cloak by joining the #freenode channel and asking for one. Hope this helps. - Rjd0060 (talk) 23:01, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Your opinion in Amnon Yitzhak

user:shuki is trying to remove the following which is, as you can see, well sourced. I would appreciate you opinion. Mashkin (talk) 19:23, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

"According to ynet, Yitzhak "is considered to have a clear anti-Zionist position, similar to that of the Satmar Hassidim. Like them, he boycotts the Knesset elections. This view is extremely rare among the Haredi-Mizrahi public, and even rarer among Mizrahi Baalei Teshuva - Amnon Yitzhak's primary target audience." [1]"

Please see new comment. One source is not 'well sourced' at all. Please see WP:V "Do not leave unsourced or poorly sourced information that may damage the reputation of living persons or organizations in articles and do not move it to the talk page (See Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons for details of this policy)." --Shuki (talk) 21:18, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Could you state your opinion please?

Hello, Ynhockey. I added this image File:9-years old Israeli boy Osher Twito copes with lost of his leg after Qassam exploded next to him in Sderot Israel.jpg to three articles, but it was removed from all because of this. Could you please state your opinion. Thank you.--Mbz1 (talk) 02:15, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi

Why have you removed the links to other wiki? (Hebrew), It provides the sources accuratly with genuine docs.

Worth to import the docs into that value.

Hello, dear Yan. Excuse me for bad English language, my language - Russian. And so I continue to write in Russian language. Thanks. Education in Israel

Greetings, Y.N.! I see you've been active on the Education in Israel article's Talk page. So here's a head's up about this particular point on which I'd like clarification but lack the time to deal with it myself at present. About coordinates

Hi Ynhockey. I'm no expert at coords, don't even know where to look for them except by random google searches. You're probably better off asking User:Ashley kennedy3. He's a whiz at those kind of things. I also don't have much familiarity with those places and can't offer more info than is already in the article pages. Sorry. Happy hunting! Tiamuttalk 16:45, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

Hello Ynhockey

Yes, you are right on beth shemesh, I thought it was official data. Anyway, I am particularly fond of demographics and geography, that's the reason why I would like to contribute as much as possible in that field especially on France and Israel.

I have just signed in yesterday so as you can see, I am not that used to anything related to Wikipedia. Just to introduce myself, my mother tongue in french (I am from Paris), I have very close relatives living in Israel.

I have just started an article on Tamar gas field (called: tamar 2) that is being drilled near Haifa - in french. I think I am going to translate it in english when my time would allow it. Of course as it is my "first" article, this is far from being perfect and as it looks like you wrote many articles on wikipedia, please feel free to help me... I can be wrong but I have the impression that there is no energy section on Israel and it could be of interest as this sector could be expanding quite fast (like project better place, project of turning coal plant into gas plant etc.). Xavvvi (talk) 17:12, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

Your accuastion that i have been replacing the term 'neighborhood' with the term settlement is completely unfounded. I have in fact been ensuring that both the terms are used in conjunction with wikipedias NPOV policy while explaining the position of both positions. The centralized discussion, which i have been following thoroughly has only come to the conclusion that the term neighborhood is misleading.. Colourinthemeaning (talk) 13:18, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Given that the edits i am making only reflect both the Israeli POV and the International POV, aswell as the consensus established on the Centralized discussion page, i hardly think, as Tiamut has also pointed out to you that I am making 'controversial' edits. I was not aware of any relevant bodies that i had to inform so if you could please let me know which ones you want to me inform in future I will be happy to do so. Given that my edits reflect both sides of this argument, and that the IP address i am apparently 'edit waring' withs edits only reflect a nationalist POV, strictly against wikipedia policy, i think I am in fact doing wikipedia a service to ensure its NPOV policy and ensure both sides have their views told. I am also unsure of how else to go about having these edits -- in serious violation of wikipedia policy, in any other way reverted or reviewed. Lastly, i have never heard or to my knowledge remember seeing an edit by a user named Chesdovi. It was the random IP address that i implied MAY be operating as a sockpupet, but i never intended to imply they were doing so intentionally. Further, how is such an implication any different from what is effectively an outright alligation in requesting a check for that? Yeruham

Hey Ynhockey-

Thanks for the concern but I only removed that article because it sheds a negative light on Yeruham-and don't think that it belongs on the wikipedia site about the city. I have also tried to add two relevant videos about Yeruham to the site(which are both on youtube), and I have permission from the makers to post, but the bot keeps blocking it- Do you know how I can post them without the bot kicking it off?

Colourinthemeaning

I left a this message on his talk page [4] after I went there to tell him to join the discussion about Israeli settlements. I'm disappointed by your the tone of your comments to him and the way you seem to throwing around your admin authority, subtlety implying that he may be subject to sanctions for trying to introduce standard English-language terminology to our articles here. I agree that he should not be edit-warring, but I find your approach with him to be improper. Please consider the effect that your warnings have on editors with less experience than you and avoid coming off as though you are trying to intimidate them into silence in the future. Thanks. Tiamuttalk 13:04, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Sorry Ynhockey, but that's the way your comments came off to me and I stand by my initial assessment. Colourinthemeaning is not familiar with our policies. He's only edited a few articles here sporadically over the time he's been here. I think the way you talked to him was inappropriate. I think I'm entitled to that opinion as you are entitled to yours about your interpretation of my so-called "advice" to him on how to game the system. I was merely trying to get him to understand that edit-warring can get you blocked. I supported you on that point and the need to avoid sockpuppet allegations. The rest was to me not necessary and subtlely intimidating, and I thought you would be particularly sensitive to that issue given the discussion at Arbcomm. Apparently not though. Cheers Tiamuttalk 21:27, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

D'Or

Hi ... just double checking as to the importance level assigned David D'Or. He was the country's Singer of the Year, representative in the Eurovision contest, and appointed an Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation (IcExcellence) chosen artist since 2008, one of Israel's highest recognitions for excellence in the arts. Doesn't that qualify him for higher than "low" importance? Tx.--Ethelh (talk) 16:24, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Two questions

Hi Ynhockey, how are you? I have two questions for you. I hope I haven't been bothering with my questions about architects, and architecture. You seem very knowledgeable with respect to Israel topics, and there is significant overlap in these topics in my interests-- so here I am asking again. I'm slowly working on the Zvi Hecker article, whose work is astonishing, and I've read that his time in the military was spent in the "Corps of Engineers"[5] yet we have an article on the Combat Engineering Corps. I'm not that familiar with military terminology, but I gather that is what is meant and is what I should link to? The other is question is, I wanted to include some information on the architecture of the Chaim Laskov Officer Training School, a project of Hecker, Sharon, and Neumann. I've found this page [6] which discusses it, and I really want to get that part correct so I was wondering if you would be able to add any information to the Zvi Hecker article, using that as a source. Best regards, DVD 23:05, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Wow, thanks! Could you add what you explained on my talk page to the article too, maybe with a quote? It makes perfect sense to me and fits in very well with some of his other projects that have interior open spaces, on which I can expand later. I was reading about that here [7], (←can this be cited or is it a blog? at any rate it is a very good article) an apartment with a courtyard that in my reading is being compared to the open space at Bahad 1. His use of courtyards is described in another book I have too. The way he compares one building to a whole city, is a recurring theme too that I may expand on. Many thanks Ynhockey! Did you know -- Palestinian land law

Hi. I sympathize with your impatience with the DYK process, but when another user has expressed serious concerns about the appropriateness of a DYK hook for the main page, I think it's best to allow the discussion at Template talk:Did you know to reach consensus. The DYK regulars will not allow a hook to "expire" as long as it's being actively discussed. To speed things along, could you please provide your comments about the article's and hook's sourcing at Template talk:Did you know#Palestinian Land Law? --Orlady (talk) 00:08, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Battle, fall, conquest etc

Hi Yan, would you mind giving your view of which word to use in the lead. Choices are: X number were killed during the "fall of Lydda"; "invasion of Lydda"; "battle to take Lydda, and in violence that followed"; "conquest of Lydda"; or "occupation of Lydda"). If we can get some consensus, we can get it out of the way at last. [8] SlimVirgin talk|contribs 01:12, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

References in Battle of Latrun

Hello,
Thank you for your support in the article. I will take care of all the references "at once" when the translation will be finished and satisfying. Don't worry too much for that.
Anyway, thank you for your work. Ceedjee (talk) 14:14, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello I would like also to say thank you for your help improving this article. I did the translation from French but know none of the facts so it is sometimes hard to know how to put things. I think we are all doing a great job putting this together! SimonTrew (talk) 20:16, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

By the way I also left translation comments at the article talk, and have put a few in the article source itself. You may wish to have a look there. We'll get there.

I think I should say, this is none of anyone's business and I am very tempted not to say, I am not jewish or muslim or anything (well I am British that's about as near a bias I could claim) so have no biased interest in the article, I was just translating it because it was on the list to do, and I hope I have done a fair job, with help from many others. SimonTrew (talk) 20:25, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Tranche is not "non-English". It's used all the time in the Army. Best wishes. SimonTrew (talk) 20:04, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Hmm that;s odd. All my books are still in storage. It is quite common in British English. If you have not heard of it, that's a good reason to cut it. It's probably best anyway to cut it in case it was confused for a trench. SimonTrew (talk) 21:21, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Yoav Gelber book & other

  • It is not a new book but I have been told it was a good one : here is it
  • I agree with your "structure" for Op. Danny (see my answer in the talk page). I will draw the maps for both articles asap.

See you, Ceedjee (talk) 06:45, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for the information.
I correct this asap.
What I've done there is more a sketch than a map. I did it in half an hour.
I have no idea of the situation in the Negev. and where exactly the Egyptian units were positionned. And that is the same for what concerns the "border" between Iraqi and Jordanian troops in Samaria.
The "map" is also wrong for the front line between ALA and IDF in East Galilea.
Another question mark concern the southern limit of the Transjordan army...
To draw a good map, we would need one that show all villages and to draw the border line one by one. That will take hours and even days...
For Negev and Judea, I think it is simply impossible for us. We don't have access to the material that would require the localisation of all Egyptian and Palmah units in the Negev but also the areas they patrolled... We need a reference from an historian who would have taken care of that...

Edits

Hi Yan, just in case you haven't noticed that you're undoing my edits. I've removed the brackets round the year in the cites; see talk. And I've fixed the image sizes deliberately, because some were too large, and some too small, otherwise. I'm leaving this here in case you didn't see the note on talk, but feel free to reply there, as I'm watching it.SlimVirgin talk|contribs 16:36, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Also, I meant to say thank you for finding those images. The quality is excellent. I've not had much luck myself finding good images. Leaving this here in case it gets lost on talk. :-) SlimVirgin talk|contribs 16:51, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Please do add the ruins image. At the moment, the main concern is just to get all reasonable material onto the page -- images, sources, interesting sections. Once we have a first draft, as it were, then we can start trimming, tightening etc. And we can always remove images of faces to make space for pictures of Lod. :-) SlimVirgin talk|contribs 18:18, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for fixing that other image. It looks great! SlimVirgin talk|contribs 20:17, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Ok for everything. Just two prob :

  • I don't see the "weird lines"... ???
  • Kafr 'Ana is not on the map I use (from Morris 2008). Could you localise this...

Non-Free images

What were the non-free images?

Commons

Okay, will do. I may wait and do a bunch at once, as my wiki-time is full editing or reading for the article, and I've not uploaded to Commons before. So if you don't see me doing it immediately, it doesn't mean I won't. SlimVirgin talk|contribs 22:58, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Your note

That's because you kept changing the image sizes, as I said on talk. You've reverted my work on those probably a dozen times if not more. Also, there is no need to change the name of the image. It's better that it be descriptive and say what it is, and where (though that wasn't the reason I reverted). SlimVirgin talk|contribs 12:44, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

I've been doing that -- whenever you slipped in an image-size change with other changes, I have patiently gone back and redone them without reverting your other edits. But I won't do it anymore, because it is too time-consuming. As for the image, did you change any other image names before uploading to Commons? SlimVirgin talk|contribs 13:15, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
You keep saying you've quit talking about images, but then you keep discussing them. Please, there is content to be added. As you don't like the current content, please help to find other sources. SlimVirgin talk|contribs 13:31, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Greetings. I appreciate you pointing out a potentially inappropriate link and looking at that one again, I agree that Palestine may not have been the best choice but I disagree with it being reverted to Palestinian, I think Palestinian territories would have been better. Here is my thought process: the adjective "Palestinian" in this case is referring to the geographic location, Farradiyya. Farradiyya was depopulated in the 50s so I should have gone with Palestinian territories. In instances of geography I have been disambiguating to Palestinian territories unless the village was depopulated before the 1949 Armistice Agreements then I use Palestine. If there is a flaw in my thinking, which is certainly possible, I would appreciate you straightening me out, lord knows I've been wrong before. There really is no reason to link any pages to Palestinian as it is only a disambiguation page. J04n(talk page) 11:56, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

My RfA

Thank you for participating in my "RecFA", which passed with a final tally of 153/39/22. There were issues raised regarding my adminship that I intend to cogitate upon, but I am grateful for the very many supportive comments I received and for the efforts of certain editors (Ceoil, Noroton and Lar especially) in responding to some issues. I wish to note how humbled I was when I read Buster7's support comment, although a fair majority gave me great pleasure. I would also note those whose opposes or neutral were based in process concerns and who otherwise commented kindly in regard to my record.
I recognise that the process itself was unusual, and the format was generally considered questionable - and I accept that I was mistaken in my perception of how it would be received - but I am particularly grateful for those whose opposes and neutrals were based in perceptions of how I was not performing to the standards expected of an administrator. As much as the support I received, those comments are hopefully going to allow me to be a better contributor to the project. Thank you. Very much. LessHeard vanU (talk) 20:45, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Well, back to the office it is...

Map

Hi,
In order to avoid useless work... Do you have a vectorised version (*.svg ?) of your map ? Because I think we need to see Tel-Aviv and the south front line to give a fair picture of the situation. The attack on Lydda and Ramle was an obvious necessity for anybody who could see this map. That would be nice to use this for the article...
If under *svg (inkscape), I can deal with this if you send this to me by email...
Mine is too short for the West (don't see Tel-Aviv) and in any way I have lost this in the crash of my pc :-(.
FYI : I have the book in he from Prof Gelber. I may have to give it to him back (complex issue). If so, I will ask him if we cannot "offer" this to you. I think he will agree but I cannot promise... Wait and see, Ceedjee (talk) 13:37, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Accusation of plagiarism

Ynhockey, you have made a rather serious accusation -- plagiarism -- against me: [9].

However, plagiarism occurs when someone else's material is misrepresented as one own's work. How can my edits be plagiarism, since I clearly referenced the source material -- Haaretz? [10]

I think you have confused plagiarism and copyright. From plagiarism:

Plagiarism is not copyright infringement. While both terms may apply to a particular act, they are different transgressions. Copyright infringement is a violation of the rights of a copyright holder, when material protected by copyright is used without consent. On the other hand, plagiarism is concerned with the unearned increment to the plagiarizing author's reputation that is achieved through false claims of authorship.

Contents

You wil find that using the 2 sentences in question fall under fair use.

Regardless, plagiarism is a serious and, in this case, untrue accusation to make and I consider your behaviour a violation of WP:CIVIL. Factsontheground (talk) 02:33, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Recommend a mediator at Mohamed ElBaradei and other

I posted a NPOV complaint here. We've had a lot of issues at the discussion and article. See the talk page for more info.

Our previous mediator left and I don't know how to get a new one. Can you point me in the right direction?

thanks Wikifan12345 (talk) 22:39, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

We've been through RFC and dispute resolution. Then we got Kevin. We just need a replacement mediator fast. Can you recommend someone? Mediation committee will probably end up dealing bans for all the stuff that's been said. Wikifan12345 (talk) 23:16, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

thanks for the welcome - template redirect question

you wrote on my talk page. keep up the good work.

someone made a redirect on Template_talk:Villages_depopulated_during_the_1948_Arab–Israeli_War, but i removed it. it seems very unreasonable for this template to point to Template:Palestinian_Arab_villages_depopulated_during_the_1948_Palestine_War, but at least the talk page has a link to the Jordanian ethnic cleansing of Judea and Samaria.

sorry - forgot to sign Yosef.Raziel (talk) 07:05, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

re: sources

which villages? feel free to remove the villages in Judea and Samaria if there remained Jewish residents in 1950, as for the ones behind the ceasefire lines of 1949, if there was a continuous Jewish presence from 1947-1950 then I'll remove them as well. thanks for the speedy reply! Yosef.Raziel (talk) 12:37, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

thanks for pointing that out - i just made the template from the article List_of_villages_depopulated_during_the_Arab–Israeli_conflict, but i'm checking the section on the War of Independence now. I'll remove any villages founded after the 1949 and add the rest of Gush Etzion to both the article and the template. some of Gush Etzion is in the Judea and Samaria section of the template, so i'm moving those to the Gush Etzion section. wow! that must have been about 300 edits - i'm glad for copy and paste. i didn't want to edit the userpages, so I replaced the redirect with both templates. thanks for the help!Yosef.Raziel (talk) 14:21, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Have you ever beaten a Palestinian?

I'd be interested to know - have you ever beaten a Palestinian? MalcolmMcDonald (talk) 18:40, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Malcolm. Wow. I'm just passing through but I really am shocked that you just asked that. Now maybe etiquette is different online, but that's very different! I'm posting this reply here to register my shock at the question and support Ynhockey. Joe407 (talk) 11:56, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Wikiproject Israel

I always imagined these projects to be sort of clan like and at times promote meat-puppeting/tag-teaming which can be seen in many I/P articles. But now it is clear a more collaborative approach is necessary and the threat of abuse shouldn't be a deterrent. If there is any tasks or articles that require attention let me know! : ) Wikifan12345 (talk) 21:04, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Sounds good. I am still new to the whole interface so it may take some time for me to get used to it. If you have any very specific tasks and hold my hand the first round (lol) it would make things a lot smoother. Wikifan12345 (talk) 23:32, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Very nice. I've just assessed a couple of pages but I'll do more when I have time. Wikifan12345 (talk) 22:17, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Got it. I figure from the Terrorism category it qualifies as a C class but the Israel category is most definitely a start. Do you agree? Wikifan12345 (talk) 00:40, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Terrorism and Israel project is the same? I've seen articles with both Palestine and Israel projects but with different assessment grades. Wikifan12345 (talk) 01:27, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Factoid

I see you keep adding "factoids" to articles. Given what factoid actually is, I think perhaps "facts" would be preferable ;)

PS - I only came across this distinction myself a couple of weeks ago (on an episode of QI). пﮟოьεԻ 57 22:43, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

I went through a spell of editing a bit less, but I think recently I've been back to my usual output. I'm still editing quite a lot - recently been going through List of members of the first Knesset and created a few party articles (Independent Centre etc). I'm also monitoring the AlexArtBot list of new Israel articles. The Knesset member thing is going to take ages though (as I plan to do them all, Knesset by Knesset...). Maybe once I've done that I can crack on and add some infoboxes to the villages missing them. Like you said, so little time... пﮟოьεԻ 57 23:02, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: Shin vs. Sin

Shalom, Ynhockey! I received your message and went back to check things out. Sure enough I found that your first revert of my edit indeed changed the first letter back to a Sin. As well, the current forms has the wrong vowels. You currently have a tzareh under the shin, which makes the word pronounced "Shaikma" and not "Shikma". In order to fix this you will need to change the vowel to a chereek under the shin. I hope this helps. Oh, one last thing, the first letter in the Beit is using a Vet and not a Bet. So it's currently reading "Veit Shakmah" and not "Beit Shikma". Cheers! Basket of Puppies 05:11, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

I see the text just fine. I believe it is a font issue. Please send me a screenshot of exactly how you see it; it could help fix similar problems all across the project. Cheers, Ynhockey (Talk) 05:18, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

I am using Mac OS 10.5.7 and have the Hebrew fonts turned on. Basket of Puppies 15:09, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Hey there! I think we just uncovered a browser bug. I use Mozilla Firefox 99% of the time in my browsing but just tried it on the latest Safari. On Firefox 3.0.11 I get the bad Veit Shakmah, but on Safari 4.0.1 it renders correctly. How weird is this!! I used Font Book and looked for both David and Narkisim but they were not present. I do, however, have the Hebrew Internationalization turned on for OS X. I think what we have here is a genuine browser rendering problem. I wonder how it shows up on Firefox for Windows. Perhaps there is anther Hebrew font we can use which will work for all? Basket of Puppies 21:55, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
I do not actually use any other browsers. I use Safari when Firefox fails, but that is pretty uncommon. I think adding this to some sort of documentation and possibly checking the Firefox bugzilla might not be a bad idea. You seem to know more about the fonts and such associated. Should I start the bugzilla report or you? Basket of Puppies 01:26, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I checked Mozilla Bugzilla and it appeard this might be our bug. Seems like there is a workaround but not necessarily a fix. Thoughts?Basket of Puppies 01:55, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Question

I recently did the copy/paste archive process but I can't seem to replicate the collapsing section box that existed in my previous talk page. Here is my new one. Do you know how I can do this? Once the talk page becomes longer than a page it will become difficult to navigate. Wikifan12345 (talk) 08:18, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Voting in Israel

This was one of the articles on the project's to do list. I didn't have a lot time so I kept the intro brief in hopes that other users will contribute. I've identified the following sources: BBC, MFA (government), academic paper, and Official Knesset site. I don't think many users are active on the project so I figured it would be best to simply post the article here since you are the principal member. :D Wikifan12345 (talk) 00:33, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Assessing articles

Hey, could you assess this article that I've been doing a lot of work on?: 2000 Ramallah lynching. Also, if you have any suggested edits of material that should be added, feel free to tell me. Thanks! ShamWow (talk) 16:08, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Saw you started looking at it, thanks! I changed the article title to "2000 Ramallah Lynching" from "Lynching in Ramallah" but I didn't transfer the pre-existing talk page. Do you know how to do that? ShamWow (talk) 16:13, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for assessing. Regarding the move, I was referring specifically to the old talk page here:Talk:Lynching in Ramallah. Tried to move but now there's some conflict or something. ShamWow (talk) 16:30, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Al-aqsa Mosque

I'm confused by what criteria you are using to determine high level of importance? If Israel is custodian of one of the holiest places to a world religion, I would certainly think it would merit top importance for that country. Especially a country that has a high percentage of adherents to that religion. -->David Shankbone 16:21, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
