If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joseph J. Biloti requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. noq (talk) 16:03, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Trammel Museum of Art". How do I change my corporate name to show unbias? This is significant to Mr. Bilotti. Rotelli Corporate (talk) 16:50, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ask for a rename at WP:CHUS. Primefac (talk) 16:58, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Adding to that, we strongly recommend that you do not edit the article you have a conflict of interest. Wikipedia's username policy can be found here. For straight forward requests (for usernames that don't exist in any Wikimedia projects, check here if the username is available) and if you have your mail registered, please request a rename here. Hope that helps. Regards—JAaron95 Talk 17:09, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What if this was in directly correlated with the help of the CEO himself?Rotelli Corporate (talk) 17:11, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the conflict of interest guidelines linked to above. Further, the help of the subject of an article does not mean they are WP:notable in Wikipedia terms. noq (talk) 17:25, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of notability

[edit]

I have noticed that you had made a request on Wikipedia:Requested articles/Arts and entertainment#People for article be created for Joseph R. Billotti. Unfortunately, I had to remove your request since you did not included any third-party references and more importantly, I was unable to find any notable third-party reference materials, such as newspaper article, magazine articles, transcriptions from television news stories, history text books, etc. Although Mr. Billotti might be a very nice person in his corner of the world, he has not left any significant traces of his existence, either good or bad, that would distinguish him from the billions of other likeable persons on this planet. If you really want to have Mr. Billotti listed in Wikipedia, I would suggest looking at an existing Wikipedia article, such as Christina Tosi, a chef and owner of a small bakery chain. If you look at the article, you would noticed that each paragraph is backed-up by an in-line references. If you look at the edit history of article about Ms. Tosi, you would noticed that many edits are deleted because the information in each edit were not supported by a citation to a notable publication. (An example of a notable publication in the New York Times. A blog is an example of a less desirable reference because anyone easily include falsehoods as easily as truths.) Using the Tosi article as example, Ms. Tosi passes the notability test because anyy person could find dozens, if not hundreds, of articles about her and all of her business activities via Google. After that, I would suggest contacting the reports at your local or national newspaper and convince them that Mr. Billotti is really different from the thousands of small business owners in your area. Also getting NY Times and Zagat to have restaurant reviews may also help. 50.195.224.153 (talk) 02:01, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
