GA thanks
Hi Wronkiew,
Thanks for your great GA work. I still remember when we were arguing about having a "half-decent articles" process which turned into GA :-) I'm trying to improve the OLPC article and will try resubmitting in a little while. +sj + 20:40, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Macaroni Peer Review
Hey, thanks for the peer review comments. I think I have addressed most of what you suggested, and I will be adding more soon. Can you tell me any good places to get public domain pictures? --LNG123 (talk) 00:08, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
I very sorry to say that my student editing Macaroni Penguin has opted out of the course. Hopefully, her edits lead to improvement on the article, even though she fell far short of GA status. It is unfortunately typical to have students WP out of the AP biology program - it is rigors and so many base there aptitude and interest in Biology on The Animal Planet. The reality of molecular biology, cell physiology, etc.. tends to take a toll every year. Thank you for your detailed peer review, hopefully she was able to address your concerns before abandoning the project. I trust that this will not discourage you from participating in other such projects in the future. Respectfully - Jim Butler Croatan HS --JimmyButler (talk) 16:07, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well.... there is still hope for this project and penguins in general. I am optimistic that success is within her grasp. Ignore the man behind the curtain as LNG123 (talk · contribs · count) / Topic: Macaroni Penguin continues with her efforts. --JimmyButler (talk) 15:08, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks
Thanks for your careful consideration at my successful RfA. Your "extensive experience" comment was generous and appreciated. Please let me know on my talk page if you have any suggestions for me. - Dan Dank55 (send/receive) 21:47, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism
I noticed that you vandalized my userpage on 28 October of this year. I shall therefore put in a request to have you blocked from editing. Lucas Brown (talk) 03:55, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- This has got to be the funniest thing I have ever read while processing AIV block requests! Just as a FYI, I left a note [1] on the talk page of Lucas Brown explaining exactly why I declined his request. --Kralizec! (talk) 04:39, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- That was pretty funny. Thanks for the chuckle. Wronkiew (talk) 08:31, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
