– Now that we have a series page, this should be the main target for the phrase Bubble Bobble. This isn't something like Frogger where the first game is ubiquitous. TarkusABtalk/contrib 17:34, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. I'm not so sure. I recognize that the base Bubble Bobble page's pageviews are juiced from people getting to the other games from there, but pageviews on the other options don't seem THAT high, although I suppose they're significant when taken together. Seems kinda borderline - I suspect the first Bubble Bobble is still pretty famous. SnowFire (talk) 18:24, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support - Sensible move in my opinion, in line with e.g. Ninja Gaiden, Tokimeki Memorial, Star Fox, Crazy Taxi... Those who would land on Bubble Bobble looking for the original game can easily click to it from the infobox. ~Bluecrystal004 (talk · contribs) 21:18, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. I'd say the first game is definitely ubiquitous, given that they included a full copy of it with most of the sequels in hopes that it would increase sales. Some more cynical people think that's the only reason anyone bought some of the reboots. It's hard to say for sure, but likely when most people think of "Bubble Bobble", they're thinking of the first game. Adleid (talk) 23:38, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support After thinking about it for a few days, I've changed my mind. A move does seem like it would be in-line with other video game articles. Adleid (talk) 08:43, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
