This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Comments to Reviewers

[edit]

Please do not insert comments that are meant to be read by reviewers in the text of a draft article. Use AFC comments or the draft talk page for the purpose. If you insert comments for the reviewers in the text, this may delay the review, because the comments have to be removed. The text of a draft should be only what you want the readers to see, not what you want the reviewers to see. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:21, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the reviewers keep bringing up dubious reasons for declining the page. I would have been glad to just start this page with the minimal information to get the ball rolling, but reviewers want more-and-more notability (easily meeets the standards and where this is going is I guess I will need to link to dozens of articles before they stop the censorship) or whatever other excuse they are going to make. So, I wouldn't have done so but for the editors being some unnecessarily punctilious about how much must be shown for a short article to be published on a legitimately news-worthy person.
Big difference between some random candidate in a field of 20 hopefuls and Tshibaka (endorsed by former president and presumptive favorite to win the R primary in a solidly-R state). Wikiwiki899 (talk) 15:51, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
