Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. December 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Jimmy Wales, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Unomi (talk) 11:26, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nitrocarboxylic acid has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:DICTDEF, no evidence of notability or special content beyond the intersection of the component terms

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DMacks (talk) 20:00, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Becoming a Bureaucrat

[edit]

Hello. You don't need to be a Bureaucrat to make and run bots - see WP:BUREAUCRAT for an explanation of what a Crat does.

You're very new here, why not settle in, do some good editing and run for admin in a few months, when people can see what you're capable of.

A useful page for you to read is WP:NOTNOW.

Anyway, you are most welcome and enjoy editing Wikipedia. --Dweller (talk) 19:16, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hope it's a useful bot! Head over to Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval and follow the instructions there. Good luck with your bot. --Dweller (talk) 19:48, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

Edits like this one are not going to persuade people to trust you. --Dweller (talk) 13:04, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

<sigh>

[edit]

Please read WP:NOTNOW. --Dweller (talk) 13:00, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:NOTNOW --Dweller (talk) 13:21, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, that's not fantastically helpful. I applaud your enthusiasm. But please read User:Davidwr/Administration is not for new users, which is an essay that explains things better. --Dweller (talk) 13:32, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive for your Wikipediholism.
If you edit Wikipedia again, you will be nominated for administratorship.Wikieat (talk) 18:19, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

<ahem> This is a very bad idea. --Dweller (talk) 00:43, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Obscene phone call worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. "Zombie proxy"

[edit]

I haven't the first clue what a "Zombie proxy" is, but the IP's list of contributions is entirely empty, so I doubly don't understand. --Dweller (talk) 12:08, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And where is the evidence that that particular IP address is a zombie proxy that must be blocked? --Dweller (talk) 12:19, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand a word of it, but if it's not editing here abusively, I'm not going to block it from editing. --Dweller (talk) 20:50, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Template sandbox/another sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it must be substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. Gurt Posh (talk) 16:20, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
