A tag has been placed on Toeti Herati requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Agam Wispi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Ajip Rosidi

  1. Generally it is preferred to show the age of the subject using {{Birth date and age}}, or {{Death date and age}} if the subject is deceased.
  2. You seem to have written over the entire article that existed at the time. You should be merging the new content in with the old, not overwriting everything. The earlier version had several sources and pieces of information which are still important.
  3. The current article does not have enough references. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:25, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Afrizal Malna

[edit]
  1. As I told you before, Good Reads is not a reliable source. The reliability of several of the sources you have used is questionable, especially footnotes number 5 and 6
  2. Don't forget to format your external links. Also, external links go after the references. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
  1. You need a lede to introduce the subject.
  2. The quality of references is pretty good. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bernard Arps

[edit]
  1. More references needed. "Presently, he is working on ethnographic projects that concern the ways performance can get out of hand (including ideas about what constitutes ‘out of hand’), the use of audio media in everyday Indonesian life and especially religion and politics, the impact of media and performance on the forms and functions of language (illustrated by the case of Osing in Banyuwangi), popular music and dance as means of promotion (case study: two genres in Banyuwangi), the realism of shadow puppetry, and the translation, adaptation, and interpretation of narrative across religions (the case study being the story of Dewa Ruci)." is uncited. Annabel Teh Gallop

  1. Needs a lede and preferably more references. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Awards section needs references.
  2. Good reads again... Not sure about Indonesiatera either.
  3. Don't forget to format your external links. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

S. Rukiah

[edit]
  1. Need more references. "In 1965 she suffered from trauma resulting into death which put an end to her literary journey." is uncited.
  2. Not sure about the quality of any of the references besides the Lontar one.
  3. Don't forget the template for birth/death dates. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lily Yulianti Farid

[edit]
  1. Needs more references. "She is also credited with the role of the initiator and director of the mid-June "Makassar International Writers Festival" (MIWF) in Makassar in 2011. Her strong belief in literary writing and reading tradition encouraged her to attend festivals of writers in several countries like Singapore, Australia, France, Holland and Hongkong, besides Ubud, Bali, and Utan Kayu, Jakarta." is uncited. Also needs to be made more neutral.
  2. What makes WordsWithoutBorders a reliable source? Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Toeti Heraty

[edit]
  1. Needs more references. "Heraty's poetry reflects not just her feminist stance, but also her love for arts. Her house in Menteng, Jakarta, is a gallery of famous paintings by Affandi, S. Sudjojono, Srihadi Soedarsono among many others. She also headed the Yayasan Mitra Budaya Indonesia, (YMBI, Foundation for Lovers of Indonesian Culture) in 1998. She is the founder of "Jurnal Perempuan", which is a feminist magazine that raises issues concerning women. Heraty offers her services to a non-government organization, Suara Ibu Peduli, that works for the empowerment of women." is uncited.
  2. What makes IndonesiaBuku.com a reliable source?

Overall

[edit]

I highly suggest you take a look at Hemingway and see what is expected. The infoboxes in particular should use the templates. Also, work needs to be done on Ajip Rosidi to try and improve the referencing and reinsert the information that was lost. If a page already exists, you should try and insert content so that both new and old content flows together naturally. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reference 1 is blogspot and definitely not reliable. Man Yogyakarta 1 Portal Community is probably not reliable. The external links are also generally unreliable. Have you read the guide to reliable sourcing? Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:15, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
