Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Axdas. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. firefly ( t · c ) 12:27, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Girth Summit (blether) 13:47, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - you engaged in edit warring to remove an AfD notice from Axdas, and you then attempted to disrupt the deletion process by closing the discussion yourself. This type of behaviour is highly inappropriate. I recognise that you are new here, and I considered just partially blocking you from that article and deletion discussion to allow you to contribute constructively elsewhere; however, I see that this subject is the only thing you have written about here, and so I don't think there would be any point in doing that. If you want to be unblocked, you will need to indicate that you are willing to edit constructively, and abide by community consensus in matters such as notability and deletion decisions. Request reason:

Hey I deeply apologise for disruptive editing, yes I am new here. if I can be unblocked I am willing to contribute constructively to wikipedia I am willing to abide by community consensus.areas about artists, musicians, user pages, even the Axdas article as major reconstruction of sources etc is in progress. I would really appreciate if my block would be removed. Axdas is the person I have done interview for small newspaper based in Lithuania. By user pages I meant my own user page. Yes I accept this decision. The reason I wrote on my user page the article is because I didn't know at first how to start an article so I wrote it on my user page then moved it to mainspace. Yes I accept this decision. The reason I wrote on my user page the article is because I didn't know at first how to start an article so I wrote it on my user page then moved it to mainspace.however I will not get involved in the AfD of the ongoing Axdas article to prevent second ban. thanks Vokaicra (talk) 13:58, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

:What areas do you want to edit about? You are not going to be unblocked to cause further disruption regarding Axdas. Girth Summit (blether) 14:22, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

areas about artists, musicians, user pages, even the Axdas article as major reconstruction of sources etc is in progress. I would really appreciate if my block would be removed. thanks.

There's quite a lot you would need to learn if you want to edit here. Do you realise that the current version of Axdas, which is being considered for deletion, currently has zero acceptable sources? It's all personal websites, affiliated websites, Twitter, user-generated content and the like. Our articles need to be based on what reliable, independent and secondary sources - that's why people are talking about deleting that page. If you think that you are able to accept that, and still want to edit here, please answer a couple of questions:
  • What is your connection to the subject of Axdas? Are you the person described in the article, or is he someone who you know?
  • What do you mean when you say that you would want to edit user pages?
Thanks Girth Summit (blether) 15:17, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Axdas is the person I have done interview for small newspaper based in Lithuania. By user pages I meant my own user page. thanks

Well, I see that your own userpage used to have a version of the Axdas article on it - that's not permissible according to our user pages policies, which clearly state that userpages should not be made to resemble articles. You can write a bit about yourself, usually in the first person, but it is about introducing yourself as a Wikipedia editor to other editors - telling them about your editing interests, etc. I hope that's clear.
I would be willing to unblock you, if you were willing to accept a topic ban from the subject of Axdas. That would mean that you would not be able to write about him at all, anywhere on this project - you couldn't edit the article, or comment on its talk page, or take any further part in the ongoing AfD. You would be able to write about other musicians, provided they don't relate to Axdas in any way. This would give you the opportunity to contribute and to learn how things work here, and it would give me the confidence in knowing that you wouldn't disrupt the deletion discussion any further. If you violated the ban, your account would be blocked again immediately, and you would find it a lot more difficult to get unblocked a second time. Can you accept that? OK Vokaicra - I've unblocked your account. As you can see, I have reblocked you from Axdas, and from the deletion discussion about that article - since you are now TBanned, you should not edit those pages anyway, this block is just there to ensure you adhere to that ban. Please note however that your TBan means that you cannot edit about, or even mention, Axdas anywhere on the project - not in articles, but also not on talk pages or on your userpage. Failure to adhere to those restrictions will result in your account being reblocked.
Please do take some time to get up to speed on what we consider to be WP:RS, and the concept of notability as it is defined here. If you create articles based on social media profiles, personal websites and user-generated conduct sites like IMDB, they are bound to be deleted, which will inevitably be frustrating for you. @Girth Summit: They recreated the article, so I don't think there's any hope here. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 16:32, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Axdas

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Axdas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Axdas. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for breaching the topic ban you agreed to just a few days ago..

@Girth Summit: - it looks like they're continuing to violate the agreement; see Draft:Axdas created under a new account called 'Dalesaint'. Such a shame as they seemed so sincere above. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 17:30, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
