You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kumbala Praveen Reddy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 331dot (talk) 09:51, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mahaveer Group - advice

[edit]

I blocked user KPRCTI for a week because he kept inserting copyrighted, promotional material, removed speedy-deletion tags, and did not declare an obvious conflict of interest, and did not listen to advice.

When an account is blocked and a new one immediately posts the same articles, we suspect sockpuppetry and block evasion; but I see that your account has existed for some time. I suppose you are a friend who KPRCTI asked for help.

I have deleted Kumbala Praveen Reddy, because although it is not now so promotional, it does not show WP:Notability - the references are all about the company. It is possible that the company is notable, so I have moved its article to Draft:Mahaveer Group - RSPL where you can work on it. Do not submit it yet.

It seems fairly clear that you either work for the company or have been employed by them to help. I remind you that under the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use ("Paid contributions without disclosure" under section 4), which you accept by editing, you are required to disclose your interest in any edits where you have a COI.

I will give you more advice in a day or so, but I am out of time now. JohnCD (talk) 08:44, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Left a note on the talk page here https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:Mahaveer_Group_-_RSPL#Contested_deletion about the issues with the page, in case the page is removed before you see it a previous version of the article was moved to draft space by an admin here https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Mahaveer_Group_-_RSPL. Letting everyone know so we stop getting duplicate versions. JamesG5 (talk) 19:51, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I blocked user KPRCTI (talk · contribs) temporarily to get his attention, because he persistently inserted promotional and copyright material, removed speedy-deletion tags, and ignored advice on his talk page; also because he did not declare an obvious conflict of interest, although I explained to him here that it is required.

Within a day, you posted the same articles, after a two-year gap in contributions. I cannot believe that this is a coincidence: you are evidently editing on behalf of user KPRCTI, so that you also have a COI. Editing with a COI is not forbidden, though discouraged, but must be done with great care. Please read, carefully, the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. You will see that you must declare your interest, and that you should not edit directly, but may make suggestions and submit drafts for review. That is why I told you, above under the heading "Mahaveer Group - advice", that I had moved your article about the company to Draft:Mahaveer Group - RSPL where you can work on it.

Instead, you created it again. I have deleted that version. You should work on the draft one. I said "Do not submit it" because I do not think it is ready and I wanted to give you more advice - it will stand a better chance if you can provide better references. The existing ones look like press releases, and are less valuable for showing notability in Wikipedia's sense than someone independent of the company writing about it in depth - see WP:Notability (summary). A company with 10 billion revenue must surely have been the subject of articles in the business press about the company as a whole, not just particular deals or developments. When it is ready, click the "Submit" button, and an experienced user will review it and either accept it or give you feedback.

First, declare your interest as required by WP:PSCOI#Disclosure.

I think it unlikely that an article about Mr Reddy will be acceptable, because he does not seem to me to have notability independent of his company. If an article about the company is accepted, there could be a WP:REDIRECT from his name to the company article.

Please, help him to understand that Wikipedia is not here to help promote him or his company. JohnCD (talk) 23:19, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Mahaveer Group - RSPL

[edit]

Hello Vishwachander,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mahaveer Group - RSPL for deletion, because it seems to be an article that was previously deleted by a consensus decision.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. JamesG5 (talk) 07:12, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Read these articles WP:V, WP:RS and WP:COMPANY. --Greek Legend (talk) 07:20, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Vishwachander. After reading the pages that Greek Legend has mentioned above, please work on your article at "Draft:Mahaveer Group - RSPL" instead of recreating the article at "Mahaveer Group - RSPL". JohnCD has moved your page to "Draft:Mahaveer Group - RSPL" since it is not ready for Wikipedia in its current form. When you think it is ready to be moved to "Mahaveer Group - RSPL", please use the blue button that says "Submit your draft when you are ready for it to be reviewed!" in "Draft:Mahaveer Group - RSPL" so that another editor can look over your work to make sure it is okay for Wikipedia. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Mahaveer Group - RSPL, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you.
