I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms our use and policy on paid editing.

Be careful with citing yourself

See WP:REFSPAM and WP:COPYVIO.

Basically, if you're only adding a reference you wrote just to add a reference you wrote without significantly improving the article, we're going to treat it like advertising -- which we don't allow.

Also, it looks like you just copied and pasted text from your source into the article. Even if you are the original author, everyone else who edits the page after you is not so you're forcing them to commit copyright violations and plagiarism by adding that text. Once again, you were linking to your journal article apparently just to promote it.

The intro for the article is generally a summary of the body of the article. If what you're adding to the intro is not in the body, then it probably doesn't belong.

Maybe you should try editing articles not related to plastic surgery and get the hang of that before trying to edit in a field where you have a conflict of interest. Ian.thomson (talk) 21:27, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
