Maersk Line
[edit]You could not move Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Maersk Line to Maersk Line. You ask what you should have done. You should have applied a {{db-move}} tag to Maersk Line and waited for the deletion to happen. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:29, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for the trouble and thank you for the information. I placed the template in my toolbox for future reference. Still learning. --UsedEdgesII (talk) 20:56, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kilham & Hopkins
[edit]When you opened the above AfD, the article was relatively new and did not have much in the way of sourcing. It has now been substantially improved and sourced. K&H were an important New England architecture firm in the early 20th century and received extensive coverage for their works. Some of that coverage has now been added. You may want to take a fresh look. Cbl62 (talk) 20:40, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for the comment. I do see the additional sources that you have mentioned and also see that others have left some keep votes for the discussion. My only issue is that there is no "inherent" notability for the company. The buildings do have inherent notability which is why creating articles about the buildings would not be an issue. However, since me leaving additional comments on the deletion discussion would just lend to prejudice the argument, I will stay off and refrain from leaving any additional comments. It appears that you have persuaded at least one other person so I hope that things work out. --UsedEdgesII (talk) 17:14, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 29
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Yannis Pappas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Nonsense
[edit]A misunderstood category at CSD. It's really only for things like 'uycuytyttuykewwewe gfrtrrt' (so long as you're sure they're not quite sensible remarks in something like Upper Slobodian). Also nonsense are things like 'farm wickedly the faculty lengthwise reported subtended samoyed'. Stuff that would get you thrown out of a surrealist poetry meeting, and which are totally incoherent in English. Once again, a caveat - beware of machine translations from Japanese and Chinese in particular. I deleted it as vandalism, anyway... Peridon (talk) 20:56, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry. Late checking my messages. I am not sure what you mean by the above statements. Can you elaborate? --UsedEdgesII (talk) 20:01, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
