Blue warning icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Stunt Pilot (roller coaster). Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. I did, and thanks again for providing the sources! That was very helpful in finding a resolution to the issue. --GoneIn60 (talk) 22:10, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tremors

[edit]

Luca, just wanted to explain in more detail why I reverted this edit.

Blogs are sometimes acceptable, but only when they are written by a reputable author who has been recognized as an expert by other reliable sources. Otherwise, Wikipedia cannot use it. Online wikis that are written by non-experts and/or are edited by the general public are also not acceptable. You may want to have a look at WP:RS to learn more. In the meantime, you can click that link above to see what you wrote and restore it once you have a solid source. If you do end up restoring it at some point, write in a factual-based manner removing speculative phrasing like "may also be". Also I would avoid words like "reminiscent", which can reflect a general observation or opinion. Hope that helps.--GoneIn60 (talk) 03:17, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Maxi Dance Party 360

[edit]

Hello, Luca 1350a,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Meatsgains, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Maxi Dance Party 360, for deletion, because it is a very short article that doesn't provide readers with enough context to determine who or what the subject is.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Meatsgains}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Aftershock

[edit]

I noticed you left a message for Themeparkgc (link), but that editor hasn't been active since 2015. So I've removed your comments. A closer look at the history page of Aftershock shows that Polyamorph reverted your edits here. That's who you'll want to reach out to. --GoneIn60 (talk) 07:13, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Wisdom Rides of America

[edit]

Hello, Unusual1350

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Wisdom Rides of America for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Reviving Operation B&M

[edit]

Hey! I'm an amusement park/roller coaster lover and I've been working on various articles about them. This project in particular, Operation B&M, has seemingly been abandoned for about a decade now and I'd like to rescue it. I'm finding users (particularly those with interests in park/coaster articles) who may be interested in helping out. No worries if you aren't interested!
