Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, UnknownBat. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Musdan77 (talk) 04:57, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello, I'm CapnZapp. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from The Queen's Gambit (miniseries). Often redlinks can be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.

In addition, clicking on the "What links here" special link (in the Wikipedia Toolbox at left) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Redlinks are useful! Please only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! Um, there is excessive detail of the episode summary of Season 2 of Yellowjackets. CastJared (talk) 10:25, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Haven't watched that show yet. UnknownBat (talk) 09:29, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Succession

[edit]

Hi there. Sorry, but I'm not remembering it wrong. For season 3, Hiam Abbass and Arian Moayed were credited in the opening titles, but after the main cast and under a guest star heading. In that case, they would be considered guest/recurring for our purposes for season 3. However, for season 4, they are credited (when they appear) back as main cast as their names appear alphabetical among the rest of the starring cast; Abbass is the first credited actor in the titles for episode 4. Please recheck the credits yourself and you can reinstate the prior version, which was the long-standing version until you recently changed it. Thank you. Damn, you're correct. I seem to remember them being credited alphabetically back when the episode aired, not sure if they edited the credits sequence or I'm just plain remembering it wrong. UnknownBat (talk) 01:48, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm TylerBurden. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Alexander Skarsgård, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TylerBurden (talk) 03:26, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have had several notices about this above, please not that WP:BLP has strict reference requirements, you are editing about living people so you should make sure the things you are adding are easily verifiable through inline citations. TylerBurden (talk) 03:27, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edit on Fair Play

[edit]

Hi,

I have reverted (most of) your Oct 16 edit because it cuts out the most important element from this interaction between the two protagonists, namely that he expressly likens her appearance and behavior to that of a prostitute, which is one of the gravest insults one can tell a woman or your fiancé, for that matter.

Not knowing whether you still have access to the film, here is the verbatim line from the dialogue to refresh your memory:

"...BECAUSE I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING, YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE ONE OF THE BOYS. YOU LOOK LIKE THE HOOKER THEY PAID TO KEEP THEM COMPANY."

I have retained your lead-in verb because I feel "shames" fits better than my version ("bashes") and has a lower risk of being misunderstood by superficial readers.

Poor Things

[edit]

Hi UnknownBat. I reverted your edit on Poor Things because the genre content added was unsourced. There is an ongoing discussion on the talk page for the film about the genre you may be interested in contributing to. Andrzejbanas (talk) 04:47, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
