Hi, thanks for message. I deleted the article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company claims or interviewing its management. The article had no references at all.
  • it was all about promoting the company, little about the company itself other than locations. To show notability it need hards facts such as the number of employees, turnover or profits.
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: Kaviar Gauche ranks among the most successful and the most internationally renowned German fashion labels... collection was valued highly... attracted the attention... their cornerstone for international success...—and so on, spam, spam, spam
  • the article was created in a single edit without wikilinks or references, and looks as if was copied from an unknown and possibly copyrighted source. Copyrighted text is not allowed in English Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient. Since the article was unacceptable anyway, I didn't actually pursue the copyright issue.
  • The article was created by User:Kaviar Gauche, a forbidden user name on en-wiki since it represents a company. The account was indefinitely blocked by another admin

Note that the rules on copyright, advertising and user names are much tighter here than on de-wiki. It is also compulsory to declare any conflict of interest, particularly is associated with the company or otherwise remunerated directly or indirectly.

You said Kaviar Gauche are considered one of Germany's ten most important fashion brands— however notable, any article has to follow our (strict) rules. it would be a shame if we weren't able to share the information — who is "we"?

You can, of course, recreate the article, but you need to check that your translation meets the different standards here, and you must remember to declare any COI. Good luck, Jimfbleak - talk to me? 17:02, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You shouldn't use your user page for drafts, I've moved the contents here. Note that both the English and German text for the Kavier Gauche sections are so promotional in tone that they could be speedy deleted even in a sandbox, I therefore suggest that you take them off line or at least keep a copy for the time being Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:57, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
