{{re|I guess it's a problem with Twinkle. Twinkle doesn't seem to check the contents of the first revision. If the first revision has a redirect inside, twinkle is notifying the user listed for that revision anyway. (And In this case I was patrolling on Special:abuselog. The links there are a bit buggy, because you don't always have a "diff"-link when there is a diff link available (Normally it should be visible for all edit attempts that weren't new Article creations, or triggered a warning or were disallowed).
