Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! I have restored the disambiguation page at Tulu — if you would like to improve the Tulu language, feel free to do so at that article, but please don't copy and paste from Tulu language into Tulu. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 13:06, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm ScottishFinnishRadish. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Krithi Shetty, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 13:58, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

Just search Telugu Titles Translation Krithi Shetty on YouTube you will find the source TuluveRai123 (talk) 14:18, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

You must provide the source with the edit. Also, youtube is not a reliable source. The current prose is already reliably sourced to a large newspaper. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 14:33, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Krithi Shetty, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 14:29, 15 July 2021 (UTC) https://www.andhrajyothy.com/telugunews/kruthi-shetty-fans-did-not-expect-20210210121731 have a look at this TuluveRai123 (talk) 15:09, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

Can you please say using which source you had mentioned her mother tongue as Kannada TuluveRai123 (talk) 15:10, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

Shetty is a sub-caste of Bunt(Community). Shetty's born in Tulunad have their mother tongue as Tulu. I hailing from bunt Community accurately know that Krithi Shetty is born in Tulu Family. TuluveRai123 (talk) 15:25, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Ab207. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Pooja Hegde, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please cite sources for Tulu and Bunt. Ab207 (talk) 07:08, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Rakshit Shetty. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- DaxServer (talk) 08:27, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

Re this edit, please note that the WP:BURDEN is on you to add them back *with reliable sources* per WP:BLP. Also please do not add people without their aritlces per WP:WTAF. Thanks -- Ab207 (talk) 11:37, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Karishma Amin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.filmifeed.com/celebrity/karishma-amin/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notice

The article Gamjaal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable film, appears to fail WP:NFILM

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Donaldd23 (talk) 17:11, 20 July 2021 (UTC)

I have sourced all the articles stating that Gamjaal is a movie,so I guess this message can be removed TuluveRai123 (talk) 19:34, 20 July 2021 (UTC)

Nomination of Gamjaal for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Gamjaal is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gamjaal until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Important notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Despite several discussions, you seem to be hell bent on adding Tulu language origins on articles without providing any kind of reliable of sources, like this edit. Please read about the discretionary sanctions in the box above. — DaxServer (talk to me) 15:55, 7 September 2021 (UTC)

Hello, TuluveRai123,
It's a little hard to explain but Category:Wikipedians with red-linked categories on their user page needs to stay red. It, and Category:Wikipedians with red-linked categories on their user talk page, are the two exceptions to the WP:REDNO rule. Loud discussions have broken out from editors who want to keep these links on their user pages red links. Thank you very much for thinking to create this category but this debate has gone on longer than you or I have been editors on Wikipedia.
There are other, needed categories you can create by looking over the Special:WantedCategories list. Be careful when you look at the list, some wanted categories are just category misspellings that need correction or categories that people have put on a page that Wikipedia actually doesn't use. But there are some needed categories, often ones involving annual events or elections that no one has gotten around to creating. This list gets updated every 3 days so feel free to check back if all of the categories have either been created or eliminated from the list. Oh, and if you ever see categories on Draft pages, feel free to disable them by adding a colon (like [[:Category example]]) or remove them from the page.
If you ever have questions about Wikipedia policy or the exceptions to policy, please bring them to the Teahouse and hopefully an old-timer is around to explain. Thanks again. Liz Read! Talk! 20:54, 27 November 2021 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:Bengali Film indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Hello TuluveRai123. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:TuluveRai123. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=TuluveRai123|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. If you are being paid by Jai Tulunad organization, you need to disclose it. Also are you related to User:Prithvi Tuluve? If so, how?DaxServer (talk) 12:43, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

I am not getting paid by any anyone for editing or promoting a content on Wikipedia. I am not related to User:Prithvi Tuluve in any way. I had created Jai Tulunad page because since the organization is working well I thought it would be better if there will be a Wikipedia page for it. TuluveRai123 (talk) 05:14, 10 January 2022 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Ashrita Shetty shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Do not edit war in the middle of a discussion. I'll report you next time. Can't you wait to get a consensus? I've requested editors for their inputs.. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:53, 7 March 2022 (UTC)

Information icon Hi TuluveRai123! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. TuluveRai123, this is your official warning from an admin that you're over WP:3RR on that page. I'm not blocking you this time, but don't do that again. GeneralNotability (talk) 17:27, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

I won't be doing 3RR in my future edits. I apologize for my mistake. TuluveRai123 (talk) 17:29, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
