Your submission at Articles for creation

[edit]
Thank you for submitting an article to Wikipedia. Your draft submission has been reviewed. However, the reviewer felt that a few things need to be fixed before it is accepted. Please take a look and respond if possible. You can find it at Wikipedia:Articles for creation/David Williams. If there is no response within seven days, the request may be declined. If this happens, please feel free to continue to work on the article. You can resubmit it (by adding the text {{subst:submitdraft}} to the top of the article) when you believe the concerns have been addressed. Thank you. Your feedback

[edit]

Hello Tsillaria360, thank you for leaving your feedback on the Feedback Dashboard. Hallows AG reviewed your article for creation for David Williams. Articles on Wikipedia, especially biographies, must be notable. That means the subject of the article must be "worthy of notice" and "significant, interesting, or unusual enough to deserve attention or to be recorded". Biographies should also follow biographies of living persons, which means any article that includes living people should be properly cited with no original research and adhere to a neutral point of view. You can read more notability guidelines here and here.

I hope I addressed your concern. If you need more help, feel free to ask on my talk page. You can also connect to Wikipedia's IRC channel (#wikipedia-en-help connect) or go to the Help Desk. Happy editing! -- Luke (Talk) 03:13, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:MaradasInc.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MaradasInc.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 09:05, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Maradas, Inc

[edit]

Hi, all the edits you've made to the article recently don't go anywhere to addressing the basic point, namely; why is the company notable and why there should be a wikipedia article about it? As far as I can tell from the articlee it's a one man band set up to publish a couple of books by it's founder, that's not notable. I have to say that, to me, the same comments apply to the article about David Williams himself. He has a long meritorious army career but so do thousands of others, so why is he notable? There is a specific set of notability guidelines for military personnel at WP:SOLDIER. Please read it becasue that's the crtiteria that have to be met. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:MaradasInc.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. mabdul 13:39, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re. Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/David Williams

I am not sure what you want to do.

"Articles for creation" is for people to write draft articles, and have them reviewed.

You seem to have listed a number of files which were deleted on Commons.

If you wish to give permission for use of files, you will need to send an email; see WP:DCM.  Chzz  ►  21:48, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your articles at Articles for Creation

I'm really not sure why you are asking for peer review. You are getting several of those already and I and other editors keep telling you the same thing - these articles do not meet the notability criteria. A formal peer review will tell you no differently. No end of reviews are going to change this, you really must find more sources that support their notability (I'm ignoring for the moment that three of your submissions are about the same person). Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Sp:David T Williams requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. -- Patchy1 08:16, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
