[edit]Hello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 12:09, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
@MrOllie thank you for the reply. This information existed before my edits. I added relevant citations for each provider related to MaaS & was not Advertising or using Wikipedia as a “soapbox” as you mentioned but merely including relevant info. as it pertains to MaaS. I will continue to promote this information as I believe it is relevant to the topic & should not be removed from the article. Thank you for your input. TsBhA (talk) 19:06, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- It never should have been there in the first place - Wikipedia is not a business directory, it is not a place to build lists of vendors offering one service or another. Making such lists is indeed advertising. MrOllie (talk) 19:13, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 19:14, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
