A notification that the Templates for Discussion discussion (oy, repetition) has been taken to a deletion review discussion. The Article Rescue Squadron was notified, and as notifications to previous involved parties isn't normal practise, I and a few ARS members agreed that, in the interests of transparency and fairness, we should let everyone know...hence this talkpage message ;).

GOCE drive wrap-up
Guild of Copy Editors January 2012 backlog elimination drive
Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors January 2012 Backlog elimination drive! Here is your end-of-drive wrap-up newsletter. Participation 45 people signed up for this drive this time; of these, 35 participated. This is similar to the number of editors who helped out in November. Thanks to all who participated! Barnstars will be distributed in the near future. Progress report Recent drives have been focusing on the oldest three months in the backlog. During this drive we were successful in eliminating our target months—July, August, and September 2010—from the queue, and there are less than 300 articles remaining from 2010. End-of-drive results and barnstar information can be found here. When working on the backlog, please keep in mind that there are options other than copy editing available; some articles may be candidates for deletion, or may not be suitable for copy editing at this time for other reasons. The {{GOCEreviewed}} tag can be placed on any article you find to be totally uneditable, and you can nominate for deletion any that you discover to be copyright violations or completely unintelligible. If you need help deciding what to do, please contact any of the coordinators. Thank you for participating in the January 2012 drive! All contributions are appreciated. Our next copy edit drive will be in March. Your drive coordinators – The Utahraptor talk, S Masters (talk), Diannaa (Talk), Stfg (Talk), Sp33dyphil (talk), and Dank (talk) |

New source in the Republican primary Template
I respectfully disagree with you about the source for the delegatecount. This infobox templates purpose it to show the current state of the race, and superdelegates have a role in it. I have made a new section on the talkpage where I have put the NPR source.
However I do think it is a very good source and salut you for finding it. I have used it in making a new colum in the resultsection in the main primary article. Have a look: Republican Party presidential primaries, 2012#Results Jack Bornholm (talk) 21:12, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
GOCE March drive newsletter
Guild of Copy Editors March 2012 backlog elimination drive update
Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors March 2012 Backlog elimination drive! Here's the mid-drive newsletter. Participation: We have had 58 people sign up for this drive so far, which compares favorably with our last drive, and 27 have copy-edited at least one article. If you have signed up but have not yet copy-edited any articles, please consider doing so. Every bit helps! If you haven't signed up yet, it's not too late. Join us! Progress report: Our target of completing the 2010 articles has almost been reached, with only 56 remaining of the 194 we had at the start of the drive. The last ones are always the most difficult, so thank you if you are able to help copy-edit any of the remaining articles. We have reduced the total backlog by 163 articles so far. Special thanks: Special thanks to Stfg, who has been going through the backlog and doing some preliminary vetting of the articles—removing copyright violations, doing initial clean-up, and nominating some for deletion. This work has helped make the drive a more pleasant experience for all our volunteers. Guild of Copy Editors March 2012 backlog elimination drive
Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors March 2012 Backlog elimination drive! This is the most successful drive we have had for quite a while. Here is your end-of-drive wrap-up newsletter. Participation Of the 70 people who signed up for this drive, 40 copy-edited at least one article. Thanks to all who participated! Special acknowledgement goes out to Lfstevens, who did over 200 articles, most of them in the last third of the drive, and topped all three leaderboard categories. You're a superstar! Thanks to all who helped get those nasty last few articles out of the target months. Progress report During this drive we were successful in eliminating our target months—October, November, and December 2010—from the queue, and have now eliminated all the 2010 articles from our list. Hello :) I also commented on the above deletion discussion and listed some sources pertaining to the person in question. I see that you have edited the article since its nomination, so perhaps the sources are useful. Cheers, Till I Go Home (talk) 03:31, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
Damn man! Good work on the improvements to the article. I like the latest addition to the lead as well, definitely fits in well. I have one question about it though, instead of having that sentence about "no pity for the majority" in that last paragraph (to me it sounds a little odd, talking about tours in one sentence and the band's name in the next, while still in the same paragraph), what about adding it in the brackets at the beginning?
- KMFDM (originally Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid, loosely translates to "no pity for the majority")[1]<ref>someplace that Sascha mentions this</ref> is an industrial band led by German multi-instrumentalist Sascha Konietzko,
Just a thought. Anyway, again, great work! MrMoustacheMM (talk) 05:05, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! I'm revving up for another attempt at Featured Article. I definitely agree with what you're saying. I kinda bolted on a bunch of new pieces, and it still needs more rearranging, sanding, and polishing all the rough edges to make everything look right together.
- There are two other major things that still need to be done, btw. The peer review I got for it last year said to add audio clips, which I am going to look into. The other thing is, with the WDYKD image moved down to the artwork section, there's a big image-free void in the first half. Also, the Jules photo is iffy in terms of usage permission, so it may eventually have to be removed.
- I'm thinking about e-mailing Sascha and trying to get permission to use a high-quality official band photo for the top, then moving the picture of him further down into the text. But he might just call me a wiki-nazi if I do that, haha. But if you have any other ideas for those two problems, that would be cool. —Torchiest talkedits 13:08, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- Sounds like a good idea! Let me know once you're finished the major work, I'll go through and see if there's anything I can help with. I also noticed the image-free void, and agree that an official picture would be cool. It's probably worth asking, Sascha may say no (or call you a wiki-nazi, seeing as that's his term for anyone on Wikipedia), but if he says yes it will definitely help the article. While we're at it, are there any good pictures of Gunter out there? He was a pretty big part of the band for a long time, so it's probably worth having a pic of him as well. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 00:23, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
Singles
So I was looking at Template:Infobox single today, and that page links to a few articles using the template (as an example to follow). None of them show singles as being italicized, which makes sense as song titles generally aren't. So I was going to go through all the singles and fix this, but I wanted to let you know about it first (so you don't go "WTF?!" ;) ). Anyway, do you have any objection to this? MrMoustacheMM (talk) 19:23, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- No, that makes sense, so go for it. But it seems like they should change the template to "song" for consistency, since the idea was, I thought, that the tune itself goes in quotes, but the single (perhaps with multiple mixes and other songs) should be italicized. *clicks some links*
- But maybe I'm just wrong about that. I just looked, and there is a song template as well, apparently for songs that weren't released in the way I described, but are still notable. *clicks some more links*
- Okay, having delved even further into this, it looks like things aren't quite as clear on the infoboxes, as the example used at Template:Infobox song is actually now using the single template, and did indeed have a physical release with a B-side. And that song came out like twenty years ago, so it's not like it would've been using one before a release came out. All very curious. But, all of the examples use quotation marks anyway, so that's really a side issue. Change away! —Torchiest talkedits 19:34, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- I managed to make all the changes using Auto Wiki Browser, which was convenient, but feel free to double check them. —Torchiest talkedits 20:12, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Hello. :) We appreciate the contribution that you've made on polish wiki. I received your messege that you've left on my polish wiki discussion site about the KMFDM article. It has been deleted due to its form. It was suggested that the article was written with copy/paste from autotranslator. On polish wiki we definitely don't accept google translators etc. and we delete such articles immediately ({{db}}). I'm aware that KMFDM is on few wikipedias, but if you would like to write this article on polish wiki again please do not use autotranslators. Possibely someone who is an active user at Polish WikiProject Music would be able to help you with translating the article. Greetings :) ptjackyll (leave a message) 19:48, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
