Tyrone Garland DYK Review Request
Hello. Just after Tyrone Garland was promoted to good article status, I nominated it to appear in the Did you know? section of Wikipedia's front page. However, well over a week has passed and nobody has even approached it. Can you set aside a couple minutes to review this? TempleM (talk) 17:52, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

Incomplete DYK nomination
Hi,
Can you please help me with something? I have received a message about incomplete DYK nomination because of the step 3 (diff) although, as far as I know, I did complete this step and added template with my nomination (diff). What is the problem here?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 07:14, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Help with writing article for Artist
Hey! I messaged you on twitter a couple of days ago. I was wondering if you could help me start up a page for this production group FKi. They've produced for a lot of notable artists and are credited on a lot of songs on wikipedia and i'm surprised they don't have a page! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kbb82794 (talk • contribs) 18:05, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
- Kbb82794 Can you show me some of their credits on WP. I see we have an article for FKI, but that is a different organization, of course.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 18:49, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

- Kbb82794, O.K. I see that FKi has been credited for several notable songs. This does not necessarily mean that FKi is worthy of a page on WP. We have to consider WP:N, WP:GNG, WP:MUSBIO and WP:ORG to determine if the subject has the right type of content in WP:RSs in the public domain to be considered encyclopedic. The first thing you need to do is to track down the proper RS to document the proper type of notability for WP.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 00:36, 10 July 2015 (UTC)

Heres some sources on them if it helps — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kbb82794 (talk • contribs) 20:13, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
- Kbb82794, Those are some great sources to form the basis of the beginnings of an article. You might want to take a look at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page if you would like to start contributing to Wikipedia. Among the most useful resources are WP:WIZARD, Wikipedia:Your first article, WP:AFC, and Wikipedia:Teahouse. Since you have sufficient reliable sources to begin a page, I know I can help you to create a page. Would you like to begin to create it or would you want me to help you start it? I would suggest you try to dip your toes in.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 15:29, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
Could you help me start it? I'm a bit confused on how to make the summary article right above the History section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kbb82794 (talk • contribs) 20:03, 13 July 2015 (UTC)

Jahlil Okafor discussions
Hello! I have been watching the discussions and I thought I'd tell you why I haven't posted on the current discussion. I really don't care. That's it. Wikipedia is full of conversations like this. I prefer to not spend my time in discussions that aren't a big deal and that I don't care much about. I see discussions like this as a waste of time for everybody involved. As for the Jahlil Okafor issue, I really said all I wanted at the original discussion. I don't have any strong opinion on the way the Jahlil Okafor article should be anyway. —DangerousJXD (talk) 04:30, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
- DangerousJXD I know what you mean. I am not much for talk page discussions myself. I just thought that since you previously took the time to express an interest in an item of discussion you might be so kind as to do so where it matters. I think that is an important image, that should be in his article for the long haul and since it was important enough for you to make a statement earlier on at least that one image, that you might want to do so where the decision about the image is being made. Thanks for the Oka-doke!--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 05:38, 17 July 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Miss Julie
A tag has been placed on Template:Miss Julie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
