Misophonia
[edit]Hi Tom. Whilst we appreciate the input of subject experts to Wikipedia articles, can I ask you to please refrain from adding links to your own papers and website to the Misophonia article? The Wikipedia community frowns heavily on such actions, due to the perceived conflict of interest with Wikipedia that results. You are, however, very welcome to suggest additions of this sort on the article's talkpage (prefacing your messages there with the code {{request edit}}
will generate a template that will draw other editor's attention, so that they can assess whether or not the addition is suitable). I'd also recommend that you take a few moments to read the essay WP:EXPERT, which has some useful advice for editors like yourself. Regards, Yunshui 雲水 15:40, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
Yes, this edit is unacceptable, and not in line with our Wikipedia:Conflict of interest guideline, which you clearly have not read. Do not attempt to promote yourself or your website again. If you want to propose a link or a reference that you are associated with, do so on the article talk page. ~Amatulić (talk) 02:13, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
misophonie
[edit]Hi tom, i wanted just to say, you could add informations but never citing sources from your business or your studies. Your could add sources from this webcite http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=misophonia ; but don't mix with sources of your business. Moreover your studies seems not to be on ncbi http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=misophonia+dozier Vatadoshufrench 17:50, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
