Next British Elections

[edit]

Okay wow, I am an American but I think I still know a lot about the British political system. Just like I'm sure some Britons know more about the American political system than Americans, your nationality doesn't necessarily limit your knowledge. I still think that my view was valid at the time but now that both Cameron and Clegg have said they will contest elections that the coalition should not be taken into consideration. I know that the Deputy PM isn't like our Vice President but to be honest that kinda seems to show that you might not know about our system. Our VP has virtually no power whatsoever unless of course something happens to the President. In any case, I completely agree that it is a non-factor due to the statements of the parties. I would point to the Australian elections though and the fact that the Liberal/National coalition actually goes into the election as a coaliton. It's a moot point now though. --Fshoutofdawater (talk) 00:59, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
