Trouted

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You have been trouted for: Placing your user page in Category:Citation Style 1 templatesMJLTalk 21:18, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

@MJL: Hi. I saw your message and have been looking at the problem. I think it is because I placed a : in front of 'category' (don't know why I did it). I changed that but don't know if this fixed it (I could never see my page on the category page, but you may have removed it). Could you let me know if this is the reason/fix? I hope I'm replying correctly. I noticed 'Drafts' on your user page which is something new I want to look at (I've been using a text editor) Thanks Timothy Timothy (talk) 00:18, 16 November 2019 (UTC)

[Thank you for the ping] lmao, so actually I put that colon there to fix the problem right before I trusted you. I'll happily explain!
First you have regular links: Connecticut --> Connecticut
Then you have piped links: NRA --> NRA
You can play around, too: golf balls --> golf balls
There are two major exceptions to linking stuff, though. (1) Files/Images and (2) Categories.
To give a safe example:
Typing onto this page appears like so:
However, I can just place a colon to fix it: :Category:Wikipedians who enjoy life --> Category:Wikipedians who enjoy life.
I hope that helps! :D –MJLTalk 01:28, 16 November 2019 (UTC)

Welcome the Wiki-Family

Regarding your recent edits to the Bibliography of World War II page, please revert the format of the books you added to match those listed (Chicago-Turabian Style). You added the books as though they would be cited in the text of the article (which would normally be the right way to add them), but since this is a LIST of books, we don't need them in reference format. Thanks --Obenritter (talk) 16:37, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

@Obenritter: Thanks, I will correct that. Timothy (talk) 23:57, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

Danke. Happy editing. --Obenritter (talk) 03:31, 23 November 2019 (UTC)

Advice / Guidance needed

@Wikiuser100, RexxS, Cuchullain, Andy Dingley, Alanscottwalker, Favonian, and Oldperson: Hello, I'm relatively new (30 September 2019) on Wikipedia and was hoping to get some advice from people with more experience on the proper way to deal with something so it doesn't become a problem. It's my understanding that when disagreements like this arise you should discuss them with the community so I'm trying to start the discussion.

I've encountered a user named Dilidor that seems like they want to start a fight over edits. I saw your names on their talk page, so I'm hoping for some input. You can see my edits and his reverts on the page James Otis Jr.. I asked him about it on his talk page User talk:Dilidor and answered his concern. He left a reply to me with some additional "demands" regarding changes I need to make to satisfy him on the article talk page Talk:James Otis Jr. and sprinkled in some insults. Their comments seem like they are looking to start an edit war (which I don't want any part of) and their tone seems hostile and accusatory.

Thanks for any input/advice/suggestions on how I should proceed. Hope your day is going well   // Timothy::talk 20:46, 6 December 2019 (UTC)

"Hostile"? Dilidor? Surely not! But good citations go a long way to defusing such complaints. Remember that multiple citations to the same source are a useful technique and although often not needed, if another editor insists on citing every sentence individually, then provide them. Andy Dingley (talk) 21:22, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
My experience has been the direct opposite - a total nightmare of insults, bullying, intransigence, and edit warring. (Which I just walked away from, temporarily, because it wasn't worth my time to look up all the templates that apply to those Wikipedia civility violations and slap them on their talk page and at the Pilgrims (Plymouth Colony) talk page where some of their antics are on display.) I stand by every statement made in my response to their claims here. It is a shame that no administrator stopped by to sort them out. They badly need it.
User:Oldperson received the same sort of mistreatment at that page (see their post: Talk:Pilgrims (Plymouth Colony)#Inflammatory Language and personal insults=). I hope an administrator stops by here. Yours, Wikiuser100 (talk) 11:49, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
@Oldperson, Wikiuser100, and Andy Dingley: Thanks Wikiuser100 and Andy :) When I first interacted with him, I assumed he was just having a bad moment and a polite reply would set things right. After the second interaction, I took a look at his talk page and received some clarity on what was occurring. Andy was using a little sarcasm above as he's had similar unfortunate interactions. I also saw the abuse User:Oldperson received from him (as well as others). As for our disagreement, I left a civil but direct response on Talk:James Otis Jr.
With all the disruption and negativity he's spread, I'm surprised Wikipedia admins have let this go on for so long. In my short time here, the enjoyment I've had has come from interacting with nice people on topics we have a shared interest in. I share your hope an admin takes a look at how he interacts with others. Hope your day is going well.   // Timothy::talk 20:34, 7 December 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for clearing up that Andy was being sarcastic. I had completely missed that.

So three users here – two of them representing some 200,000 edits and just short of 25 years combined Wikipedia experience – have received the same sort of bullying, uncivil, and disruptive behavior from User Dilidor. I would most certainly think that would warrant some long overdue intervention on the part of an administrator. There are two on this thread. Yours, Wikiuser100 (talk) 23:54, 7 December 2019 (UTC)

@Robert McClenon, CaptainEek, Wikiuser100, Andy Dingley, SlimVirgin, Drmies, and Rosguill: Well Dildor replied with more personal insults, repeated themselves and then reverted back without any discussion. Since they are just insulting me, repeating themselves and reverting and I don't want an edit war I'm wondering what the next step I should take is. I believe that I'm supposed to try and get more people involved in the discussion before posting to dispute resolution. CaptainEek, Robert McClenon and Rosguill I saw your names on the dispute resolution board and Slim Virgin and Drmies helped me recently, thought you all might be able to help. I agree with Wikiuser100's comments above.
Hope your days are going well   // Timothy::talk 16:21, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
Can you actually do what they demand? The contentious piece here seems to be "he burned his papers". How do you know this? Can you use that as a source? Even if it's already a source, add a further cite to this sentence (yes, even if a duplicate).
Time forbids looking much deeper, so please point at anything I've missed. Andy Dingley (talk) 16:25, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
TimothyBlue, Could you provide some diffs of the issue, and perhaps a short summary? Where is the issue, what is the issue? Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n! 16:44, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
User:TimothyBlue - My experience at DRN is with content disputes, and this is a conduct dispute, but I will review the matter within 24 hours and see whether I have any thoughts about what to do about a combative editor. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:20, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi @CaptainEek:, thanks you for your help. James Otis Jr was a significant historical writer and figure in the early American Revolution. Near the end of his life, he burned his papers. I added this fact with a citation from the Smithsonian. I added this information/citation to the article James Otis Jr..
Here is the diff: [1] and the discussion on his talk page: [2]
Dildor first reverted it stating it was not in the citation. I pointed out the information in the cited work and added the fact that he burned his papers back in. I thought this would be the end of the matter.
Dildor left new "demands" here [3], I replied to their comments. Then they repeated their original comments and reverted again without allowing for discussion or adding improvements.
Ive added another citation and expanded on what I thought was self-explanatory here: [4] (current version) after advice from Andy, but I think without input from others the problem will continue.
It seems to me like they are just dictating and not discussing, just reverting facts and citations and not offering improvements. The personal insults and accusations are also unnecessary. I think someone should address this as it violates WP:CIVIL. His talk page reflects a history of edit wars, which I won't be a part of.
Thank you. Hope your day is going well   // Timothy::talk 18:03, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
TimothyBlue Dilidor, Taking a look, I can understand why Dilidor undid the initial edit. You didn't add a source, and thus Dilidor undid it. I think I would have done the same thing in Dilidor's position, as while you had a source for the edit, the first edit did not add a new source, which would make me suspicious. I do think Dilidor was overly fiesty about it, especially in the discussion, they should have been willing to sit down and explain to a newer editor why they did it, and how to fix things, in a calm manner. I would caution Dilidor to be WP:CIVIL and to not bite newbies. Providing a good experience to new users is critical, and being harsh or uncivil helps nobody. Both of you need to remember to assume good faith. Timothy, while your conduct was not perfect here, I do commend a new user for seeking advice and help, instead of just escalating the situation.
From here, I think that civil discussion should be able to continue. Hopefully this conversation will act as a reset; I would opt to not sanction any user at this time. If discussion stalls, then please use dispute resolution. If things cannot stay civil, then it will likely be a trip to the admins noticeboard for incidents. Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n! 05:10, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
@Robert McClenon: Thank you. Regardless of the outcome of the content dispute, the way they are acting is very inappropriate and not at all the way people should behave. From the other entries on his talk page, I was hoping for help before this gets any more negative. Thank you again. Hope your day is going well   // Timothy::talk 18:03, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
@Robert McClenon and CaptainEek: I just noticed Dildor removed a biography (by Tudor, William) I added to Further Reading without any explanation and reinserted a duplicate journal entry (author Ferguson, James) I have removed (so it was only listed once). I had also added in the issue number for the journal entry and this was removed as well. Here is the diff: [5]. No idea why they would want the journal entry listed twice or felt it necessary to remove the issue number other than to be disruptive. I'll hold off on making any changes until this all gets sorted out.   // Timothy::talk 18:32, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
@Andy Dingley: Thanks Andy, I've added another citation and a slight expansion. Hope your day is going well   // Timothy::talk 18:08, 9 December 2019 (UTC)

@User:TimothyBlue. There are both content and conduct issues at play here, just as they were in my parallel experience of disruptive and uncivil editing waged by Dilidor (linked to above here).

I was wrong earlier. There are not just two, but three administrators on your original list of editors you sought to engage for advice on this issue: User:Cuchullain (since 2007); User:Favonian (since 2010); and User:RexxS (since 2019). It would be more than appropriate for them to engage at this point, and decide which will take the lead in sorting out this chronically difficult and offensive user.

I also encourage them to intervene with user Dilidor in regards to their conduct toward me, per the above link, here, and here. Yours, Wikiuser100 (talk) 18:55, 9 December 2019 (UTC)

@Wikiuser100, Robert McClenon, CaptainEek, Cuchullain, Favonian, and RexxS: Thanks Wikiuser100. He replied again, made some superficial changes, added more insults to the talk page. He's clearly trying to provoke me into a fight or edit war. Perhaps he is just trying to drive people away. I'm not taking his bait. I do hope an admin looks at his entire conduct history and well as this incident.
@Wikiuser100, RexxS, Cuchullain, Andy Dingley, Alanscottwalker, Favonian, TimothyBlue, CaptainEek, Robert McClenon, Slim VirginVirgin, Rosquill, and Dilidor: I appreciate being flagged to this conversation.Editor Dilidor and i have crossed swords many times, but I am too old, frail and don't have enough time left to take all of this sturm und drang serious. Drama on the high seas, or the Orient Express. FWIW. So I have made peace with him, of a sorts, I don' mess with "his" edits, he doesn't mess with mine. Dilidor is an experienced editor, a ghost writer with over 30 years experience, and when he isn't emotionally involved in a subject or article, a damn good editor. I appreciate his talents and contributions. However I fault his edit summaries, as they are insulting. When he edits good faith edits he often makes comments like 'cleaning up this nonsense", which is an insult to an erstwhile good faith editor. he also appears to be overly invested emotionally in the Puritans, New England, their wars with Native Americans and Rhode Island, as if he had ownership of this subjects (articles). When I encounter emotional investment in an article with an editor (or two) my antenna go up (or would if I were Marty the Martian). Now back to binge watchingOldperson (talk) 05:00, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

What you describe, User:Oldperson, are clear, flagrant, willful, recidivist, baiting, and unpunished violations of Wikipedia civility standards, which both fragile but good faith new and highly experienced veteran editors are wantonly being exposed to while patiently seeking administrator intervention.

There are three on this string alone – User:Cuchullain, User:Favonian; and User:RexxS. Why are they willfully refusing to be involved when their assistance has been repeatedly requested?

What is the point of these good faith efforts by User:TimothyBlue if he is going to be ignored by administrators and just told by other editors, “Sure, Dilidor’s a jerk, and absolutely knows better. Just put up with it and everyone will get along.“ This is going to keep good editors at the encyclopedia? Yours, Wikiuser100 (talk) 09:54, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

I never begin hostilities with any editor. If someone posts a polite and civil question, I respond in kind. If you all will please take a moment and re-read all the above rhetoric—and do so with a genuine spirit of neutrality—you will see a good deal of hostility, sarcasm, and straight-out attacks in your own words. I will cite only one, and it the most recent example: "Sure, Dilidor’s a jerk, and absolutely knows better." If you're hoping to rebuke me for what you perceive as a verbal attack—well, you might want to consider not making a verbal attack yourself. I will point out that every single snide comment above was made, not in response to something I've said, but in attack against me. I have not said a single word in this thread, yet I could go through and enumerate a good many examples of verbal attack against me. So before this goes any further: practice what you preach. —Dilidor (talk) 11:41, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
 • No, not at all. The comments here are in relation to your edits, and in particular your arrogant sniping at other editors. You persistently claim how good and experienced an editor you are, but the obverse of that is your endless dismissal of all other editors with whom you cross swords. This is not acceptable. You have been warned repeatedly for it, but yet you still do it. You might even be right on some of these issues: yes, "he burned all his papers" obviously needs to be sourced, as per usual. But a better wiki editor could explain this, you instead demand it. We, as a community, would be better off without you here: we would lose the benefit of your editing skills, but we'd also lose the abuse. I know which I'd prefer. Having merely exhausted the energy of other editors is not their acceptance of your editing style, merely tiredness. You need to either stop taunting other editors, or you need to be stopped, by which combination of narrow, or even broad, ban an RfC can summon. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:55, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
"You persistently claim how good and experienced an editor you are". Show me one example of this, please. "Taunting other editors": My contention is that my "taunts" are always a response, a reaction to the taunts sent in my direction. I have cited just one example in this thread alone where I am called "a jerk", but if I were to respond to that abuse you would accuse me of being the abuser. —Dilidor (talk) 13:25, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
Unfortunately, I'm unable to be very active at the moment. Looking at this, I see a number of issues. Dilidor's behavior here is unacceptable and that's sadly a pattern with them. It's never acceptable to bite the newbies, revert war, and generally behave as rudely as you have. It's high time for you to shape up.--Cúchullain t/c 16:24, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
 • Take a look at Talk:American Revolutionary War#Keep an eye on your commas, folks. I'm with Regulov on this one: either follow the MOS or get it changed, but don't just keep deliberately ignoring it because you're right and it's wrong (maybe you are right, but the place for that is at the MOS, not in the articles). Your reply? "it is essentially a personal attack. Your snide tone and patronizing manner merely exacerbate the attack." ... "One more offense and I will take steps to have you blocked. " This is entirely characteristic of your editing throughout. Enough. Andy Dingley (talk) 16:50, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
@Wikiuser100, Robert McClenon, CaptainEek, Cuchullain, Favonian, RexxS, Andy Dingley, Regulov, Guettarda, Bbb23, Slim Virgin, Oldperson, and Dilidor:
Ultimately I believe Dilidor's conduct needs to go to the Administrators to review/intervention. I'm sure they will review my conduct also. This not just because of the conduct towards me in this instance, but how Dilidor has historically behaved towards others. Robert McClenon is talking to a few folks for me today (see his comment above) and should have more info today. I've been asking for other editor's involvement which is a part of the process (as I understand it) and looking into WP:ANI.
At this moment I've chosen to disengage from Dilidor and not discuss the other reverts he made without discussion to my changes on James Otis Jr. and not make other edits there because I think the conduct issue needs to be addressed first because I don't wish to deal with his behavior towards me regarding the other reverts. Hopefully, this situation will be a catalyst for a change in the way he interacts with everyone.
Hope everyone's day goes well   // Timothy::talk 16:37, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
I want to underline TimothyBlue and Oldperson's withdrawal from conflict. This is how editors like Dilidor get their way. People decide they'd rather not be browbeaten, or anyway the game isn't worth the candle. I had a skirmish with Dilidor over at Plymouth Rock over several commas. I believe, though I cannot prove, that on June 3 Dilidor used a sock puppet to make two very showily destructive edits to the page, waited a few hours, and then smuggled a reversion of my edits in with the removal of the "vandalism". I doubt this is the only time Dilidor has gone to such lengths. A scant two weeks later, I find myself making the same arguments at another page. It is true that Dilidor is defensive and threatening, and not very collegial; for my part, I am more concerned to find a way to impress upon Dilidor the importance of adhering to the rules even where one disagrees with them. I would prefer not to have to have the same tedious struggle over the parenthetical comma again and again. Regulov (talk) 18:14, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
(edit conflict) @Wikiuser100: the problem with taking administrative action against an abusive editor like Dilidor is that if you've already been involved in a dispute with them – see their talkpage and the article talk page for mine – they will scream "admin abuse", and then you get to be the one in the dock, for talking action that any uninvolved admin wouldn't think twice about. That's the catch-22; any admin who's been the target of Dilidor's abuse and is aware of it is putatively "involved" and unable to take admin action. I'm in the same boat as you, patiently waiting for an admin to take some action. --RexxS (talk) 16:48, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for clearing this up, User:RexxS. The notion that an administrator taking action because they were being abused (by someone with a clear track record of it) just like us non-administrators could in return be charged with administrator abuse had never occurred to me. Just how does one summon such aid without going to the involved and tedious process of initiating a dispute at WP:ANI? It seems like a bunch of people are all broadcasting a message on the same frequency but it's not being received anywhere. Yours, Wikiuser100 (talk) 15:25, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
The wiki is a big place, and lots of things happen with hardly anybody seeing them, so your perception of the situation is accurate. Usually these issues get resolved when an uninvolved admin notices what's been going on and applies sanctions, or it eventually ends up at ANI with a similar result. Nil carborundum --RexxS (talk) 19:21, 14 December 2019 (UTC)

@Wikiuser100, RexxS, Cuchullain, Andy Dingley, Robert McClenon, Regulov, Oldperson, and CaptainEek: Thanks WikiFriends for your comments and advice. Hi thanks for endorsing a couple of my PRODs. I had no idea there was a WikiProject for lists but thanks to you I’ve discovered and joined it. Hello, TimothyBlue,

I saw that you tagged this user page for speedy deletion but there was no mention alerting the page creator that their page had been tagged. Please set up your Twinkle preferences so that this notification is always placed on an editor's talk page. It's very important that editors know what happened to the pages they create when there is a possibility that they will be deleted.

In the Twinkle Preferences, you have to make sure ALL types of CSD are checked. It allows you to only notify page creators for some kinds of tagging but it really should be all categories of CSD. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:45, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

User Page Deletion

User:TimothyBlue The User page User:General MB Mkhavele has been deleted. Could you please explain why. It was created in an Edit-a-thon and belongs to a real person and is not for any promotional interests.--General MB Mkhavele (talk) 16:07, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

General MB Mkhavele I tagged the page due to Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion Criteria U5 and admin Fastily agreed and deleted the page. More information can be accessed on User:General MB Mkhavele (including an appeal requesting an undelete) and on Wikipedia:User pages. Hope this finds you well.   // Timothy :: talk  16:48, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
@TimothyBlue & @Fastily I was the host of an Edit-a-thon and General MB Mkhavele just created an account and did anything else (not a single edit)- just logged in with a user name! I read and know the reasons for speedy deletion and even under Criteria U5 it says: "In general, other users' user pages are managed by that user. Except for blatant or serious matters, it is preferable to try contacting the user before deletion". You did neither contact the user nor do I see any reason why you deleted the page. We did continue on a different user name, but I really don't see the point for deletion and I do expect a feasible answer otherwise I do contact another administrator for clarification. Thankful for an explanation in advance, because if I do know why, I can avoid as a host and organizer future situations like these. --Elena Patrise (talk) 18:57, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
Elena Patrise: If there was an error I apologize. I think Fastily still has access to the old page and can check, if there was an error I believe the page can be restored. While I cannot see the deleted page anymore, if my memory is correct it was "because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals." There is leeway here but if all that was on the userpage was information about the user and their interests outside of Wikipedia and none about their Wikipedia interests/goals etc. (such as being a part of an edit-a-thon and the articles/topics they were interested in editing), that would qualify under U5.
 • Re: "You did neither contact the user nor do I see any reason why you deleted the page." Please see their talk page where a message was left with the reason before it was deleted. It also includes a link to "Contest this speedy deletion".
 • Re: "We did continue on a different user name" the account was not deleted, just the page. The user could have continued editing under this account and the userpage could have been recreated.
Again if there was a mistake, I apologize.   // Timothy :: talk  22:33, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

 1. The Editing team will finish adding new features to the Talk pages project and deploy it.
 2. They are beginning a new project, Edit check.

Talk pages project

Screenshot showing the talk page design changes that are currently available as beta features at all Wikimedia wikis. These features include information about the number of people and comments within each discussion.
Some of the upcoming changes

The Editing team is nearly finished with this first phase of the Talk pages project. Nearly all new features are available now in the Beta Feature for Discussion tools.

It will show information about how active a discussion is, such as the date of the most recent comment. There will soon be a new "Add topic" button. You will be able to turn them off at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing-discussion. Please tell them what you think.

Daily edit completion rate by test group: DiscussionTools (test group) and MobileFrontend overlay (control group)

An A/B test for Discussion tools on the mobile site has finished. Editors were more successful with Discussion tools. The Editing team is enabling these features for all editors on the mobile site.

New Project: Edit Check

The Editing team is beginning a project to help new editors of Wikipedia. It will help people identify some problems before they click "Publish changes". The first tool will encourage people to add references when they add new content. Please watch that page for more information. You can join a conference call on 3 March 2023 to learn more.

Just dropping by

I bumped into your name on the list of participants at WP:PMG, and came to check out your space. Then I spent a really long time here because you have one of the most interesting userpages I've ever run across, and I just read it top-to-bottom. Have a lovely day. Joyous! We extend a warm welcome to all of our new members, including those who have signed up for our current March Backlog Elimination Drive. We wish you all happy copy-editing.

Nominations for our mid-year Election of Coordinators open on 1 June (UTC).

Blitz: Our February Copy Editing Blitz focused on October and November 2022 requests, and the March and April 2022 backlogs. Of the 14 editors who signed up, nine claimed at least one copy-edit; and between them, they copy-edited 39,150 words in 22 articles. Barnstars awarded are here.

Thanks for cleaning out Indosiar - even though I used to be in one of the shows in the deleted edits :-) The articles for most Indonesian TV stations are a bit of a shambles, but many members of the Indonesia Project - me included - are having trouble motivating ourselves to get bogged down in fixing them. Hi! Re: Volodymyr the Great

Hi Timothy!

(I don't suppose you are Timothy Dalton, are you? :D)

I got this message saying my edits to correct the spelling of names in the page about Volodymyr the Great were not approved. I found this surprising, given that the official Ukrainian spellings are Kyiv and Volodymyr, and that English-language media are using those now. Would you be so kind as to tell me why the edits were not accepted?

Thanks

Beatrice

Sheikh Hasina

You wrote: Looking at DRN, I think Robert could have found a consensus, but the participants were not willing to work towards one in good faith. That is ambiguous. Do you mean that I should have done something differently, or that the edit-warriors should have done something differently? I can guess, but what you wrote is ambiguous. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:32, 29 March 2023 (UTC)

Hi Robert, I mean you could have found consensus for a solution if the parties you were working with had been acting in good faith. I think they were wasting your time (I think someone said gaming the system). Frankly editors like you with the skill and willingness to mediate disputes time is valuable and should be appreciated; it’s always irritating seeing good time intentionally wasted by those NOTHERE. I envy your patience.
Hope you are well, greetings from Los Angeles.  // Timothy :: talk  21:05, 29 March 2023 (UTC)

Hello,

Please can you revert Sheikh Hasina to the status quo ante bellum prior to the outbreak of edit warring. The correct status quo is this version, this version contains no contentious material from any of the editors and has been recognised as the status quo by virtually all involved parties prior to the outbreak of edit warring. The version you reverted too contains copy and pasted content from the lead for which consensus was overwhelmingly against, it also is of poor quality, it includes unfinished unsourced sentences such as Hasina's term as the Prime Minister witnessed worsening security situation that includes the Bangladesh Rifles revolt in 2009 which killed 56 officers of Bangladesh Army for which. Kind regards,- AMomen88 (talk) 02:23, 31 March 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Anurag Arora

Hello TimothyBlue, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Anurag Arora, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: G4: not substantially identical to deleted article (see User:Pratyush.shrivastava/Anuraag Arora). You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 10:24, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

Thanks, I was guessing from the size of the article that nothing would be different, but it was a guess. I'm wondering is there anywhere I can see deleted articles? or the stats for deleted articles? I know there are old archives of Wikipedia around, is that the best option? Thanks for any guidance, greetings from Los Angeles.  // Timothy :: talk  11:27, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
