Hello Theroadislong,
Hope you are well, just wanted to ask if it would be Ok to accept the article, I have added all the sources and wrote it from a neutral stance. Also thank you very much for your help you have reall improved my knowledge about the requirements for article publishing.
Thank you very much, Ben Achting Achting428 (talk) 20:29, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for reviewing my article

I will be very much grateful for your help.

Bob Gomel : Eyewitness page
Hi,
I am new at this.
I got a message that said the subject was not adequately references.
This is for a documentary that I made.
I added links to iMDB, the movie itself, social media presence, and several 3rd party reviews that speak specifically about the film.
Please let me know why these are not adequate and what else I can do to satisfy the requirement.
Thanks

- None of your sources on Draft:Bob Gomel : Eyewitness are reliable or independent. Theroadislong (talk) 22:23, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
I have links to 3 independent 3rd party reviews. There is a link to the actual movie. I also have links to the web page, FB, Twitter and IG accounts.
Also link to the iMDB listing of the movie that has been vetted and verified.
What other types of references will fit the requirement?
Or maybe I am misunderstanding the requirement. Are the references to verify that the movie exists?
Or am I formatting them incorrectly? I could not find a template that worked for specific references, so I added the review links manually.
Thanks for your help on this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scarbrd2020 (talk • contribs) 23:45, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

Hello Theroadislong,
I just wanted to ask what you meant by external sources.
Thank you, Ben Achting Achting428 (talk) 09:45, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- You have "external links" to Southern farms and Buckingham University in your draft, we don't use external links in the body of an article. Theroadislong (talk) 09:53, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello and Happy New Year, hope it's going to be the better year ever. Simply could not be any other way. Please, I have been waiting for the further supervision of my article since the last September. I hope the article has not gone invisible for review. And maybe soon it will be accepted and published. I amended everything. as it seems to me. Thank you in advance. Stay safe! raegandrop — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raegandrop (talk • contribs) 14:07, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- I will leave it to another reviewer to take a look, it's not clear how they pass WP:NMUSICIAN. Tumblr and Bandcamp are not reliable independent sources either. There are many thousands of other articles that require improvement whilst you wait. Theroadislong (talk) 14:30, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
Draft: Tomos Roberts
Hello, Theroadislong... Thank you, kindly, for reviewing my draft in such a timely fashion. I appreciate your hard work and diligence.
When my draft was initially declined, it was due, in part, to the same reason you've provided (non-neutral POV, peacock terms, etc.). I worked diligently to correct this issue because, indeed, I had "editorialized" in some areas. I am fully prepared to better my draft, though I'm not entirely sure where I've erred in adopting a non-neutral POV. If possible, could you provide me with some examples?
Also, would you say that this issue is the final stumbling block to having my draft accepted?
Once again, thank you for the work you do! Much appreciated!
Ryan (Ryancoke2020 (talk) 14:20, 13 January 2021 (UTC))
Hello Theroadislong... I'm highly discouraged. I have about four different reviewers coming at me from seemingly various directions with diverging critiques. I'm basically stuck staring at my draft not knowing where to begin or whether it's even worth it (after ~6 months of hard work).
I'm simply looking to volunteer my time and abilities in helping the Wikipedia community, and I feel under attack and even mocked. This was supposed to be an enjoyable experience and it's now bordering on "nightmarish". I see all sorts of variations (re: structure, style) on numerous Wikipedia pages. I see links to YouTube (on Wikipedia) that are far more questionable than the links I've provided.
I'm working to reduce the number of references, I'm attempting to ensure that the article is presented with a neutral POV and I intend to continue reducing the amount of Wikipedia links (I've already removed a good number of them). That said, a few times now, I've been told that something is non-neutral, when, in fact, I'm simply paraphrasing a reputable article. If the Washington Post mentions that the theme of one of Tomos' compositions (poems) is hope and optimism, that's not my POV; that's what the WaPo reported. If I watch one of his video creations (spoken word poetry) and I mention, for example, the background setting or the topic in question, I don't believe that's my POV; it is what it is (for lack of a better expression). I'm definitely not trying to be a wise guy, but if the sky is blue, then it's blue... this is rather objective. If I state that the sky is beautiful, then I'm veering more into subjectivity. These are just examples... nothing specific per se.
Insofar as YouTube links, the ones I've employed aren't opinion pieces about that particular topic; they are links to the projects themselves (in this case, the spoken word poetry videos). This is integral to my draft in many cases.
Lastly (and I apologize for seemingly whining), every time my page is submitted anew, a different reviewer is "assigned" to me or, like today, I have 3-4 different reviewers coming at me. It's inconceivable to expect uniformity and exact consistency from one reviewer to the next, so the continual back-and-forth could carry on indefinitely - or nearly. That's a bit daunting. Is it possible to have one reviewer assigned to me?
Again, I apologize if it seems as though I'm complaining, but as I mentioned, I'm just really discouraged.
Any help / guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, kindly!
Ryan (Ryancoke2020 (talk) 00:29, 14 January 2021 (UTC))
- Creating an article is the most difficult task on Wikipedia and you have dived straight in. Once submitted anyone is free to edit a draft and as user Possibly has pointed out “A large draft such as the one you have created has zero chances of being published without help, as it contains literally hundreds of errors that are preventing that”
All the reviewers are saying the same things basically. You say that “If I watch one of his video creations (spoken word poetry) and I mention, for example, the background setting or the topic in question” no that is NOT allowed that is what we call original research. All of the links to Facebook need to be removed, likewise the YouTube links, we have no interest in them, Wikipedia only reports on what independent reliable sources say. The draft will not be accepted until it is hacked back to what is correctly sourced. You have reverted the most useful edits of User Possibly, so I’m not sure how I can help you? A single paragraph with three good sources would probably make an acceptable draft but not the current enormous tract. Theroadislong (talk) 08:45, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello Theroadislong... Thank you, once again! I've made many changes (including User Possibly's recommendations), though additional work still needs to be undertaken. I'm working to drastically pare down the content (of the draft), to eliminate superfluous and non-reliable references (I've removed nearly 50, I believe), to reduce Wikipedia links as well as to adopt, at all times, a neutral POV. I'm not done, but I've made steady progress - so far. I will continue abiding by your recommendations and by the recommendations of others. I do genuinely appreciate the help!

Would like help in editing my draft CallRail @Theroadislong
Hey there!
Thank you for the quick review of my page. I also sent a note via the Teahouse, but not sure I did it right. I'm pretty new to Wikipedia editing and I'm still getting a hang from this.
Apart from that, my recent article submission, CallRail, was declined by you. I would like your help in understanding how I can improve this submission.
When creating the article, I used an existing Wikipedia page—HubSpot— as my guide. I studied their sources and how they framed up the topic with the hope that my post would not get flagged. Can you help me further understand and point me in the right direction? I can strip the copy down to sound more neutral but would like some guidance in terms of source finding, etc.
Please and thank you! AzumSauce07

Mother Bird (sculpture)
Hey, you have rejected my Article simply because a user had included my article in his article named Momo Challenge hoax. You know it's logically wrong to include an article in another article. You can't include Blue Whale (fish) article in Blue Whale challenge article. The user had to write about Momo Challenge hoax not on Mother Bird (sculpture). Yeah, he could write that the horror figure of Momo is derived from a sculpture called Mother Bird.
You rejected my article because of this reason. Now plz accept it and remove Mother Bird (sculpture) part from Momo Challenge hoax article or tell me, I'll remove it.
Thank you.

For Draft: Ben Hum
Hi theroadislong! :) I understand the reason was due to insufficient notability but I would like to clarify that in my country, said person is a singer-songwriter who has received media coverage from our local media news channel and even overseas news platforms. For Notability (music), I believe said artiste has fulfilled the following:
- Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself
- Has been a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or television network.
- Has won first, second or third place in a major music competition.
Would like to seek some advice and would need some help right here on how you think I could improve on the article. Appreciate your kind assistance.
- Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, profiles and spotify are not reliable independent sources sorry. Theroadislong (talk) 09:03, 19 January 2021 (UTC)

Theroadislong... Not looking to argue or to butt heads with you. I simply believe I have the right to defend against personal attacks by other users. If defending myself is considered a personal attack, then I'm not sure what to think or say. I respect you and you've been fair with me in the past. Not looking to make enemies, but alternatively, I have enough self-respect so as not to allow myself to be steamrolled by an unfair process. I trust you can appreciate this. Thanks for your fast review and message, what should I change, please?
Hello Theroadislong,
I just received your message and would like to have more informations if possible. I'm new to Wikipedia, so I'm a bit lost.
First of all, thank you for your fast review. What do you mean by "no independent sources" please? I added 2 quotes taken from Youtube music reviewers (who do not have any affiliation with Lawson J) Could this be considered as independent sources?
Please let me know. I just clicked on: "If you would like to continue working on the submission, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window."
I will edit the article but I really want to understand what I need to change and/or add.
Thanks so much for your time!

Draft:LiquidCapital
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to comment on my draft Draft:LiquidCapital. Is there any way you could let me know what specific content "is not of interest" and how I might tweak/change the angle of the article? Thank you! Tianjnel (talk) 14:11, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- Anything sourced to their own website or press releases like "LiquidCapital is one of the largest providers of branded financial services solutions in the South African automotive industry". Theroadislong (talk) 14:15, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- (by talk page stalker) Hi. Tianjnel! To expand what Theroadislong said above to a more general view, Wikipedia is not interested in what the subject wants or likes to tell about themselves, about their family, their friends, their employer, their business, their city, belief, society, school, political party, etc, etc – but only what other, unrelated people wrote about them. That's why we require independent, reliable sources, which present the importance of the subject, not just mention them. That also excludes promotional tone full of puffery mentioned by Theroadislong. Wikipedia article is meant to show what the subject is, not how wonderful it is. --CiaPan (talk) 16:24, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

The submitter, Dankeshankar, stated, in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Elgi Equipments: "So, as of my affiliation. I've no ties with the company nor I am getting paid to do this." So I have advised them to leave that draft alone and edit other articles that they are interested in. If they submit the current draft for review, you or I can decline it. (Actually, if it is submitted for review in its current state, I will reject it, because they have not made any improvements to it.) CE and BCE vs BC AD
Dear contributor
Although its an interesting academic exercise to use BCE and CE the fact it that it will cause most readers that are not in academia to have to read additional articles on what the meaning is. I have seen the code nn, how can you establish this reason code? I have seen the list of article regarding some people you created which for me are nn as reason code. Could you review it again, please? Karaflores (talk) 09:35, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for your comment! non neutral tone includes "wide-ranging voice", " theatrical performances", "feminine and important for volume", " a rich, full voice, with a dark timbre and intense volume" and " dynamic and effective music accent ". For opera artists this is a technical review of the voice, there is not any wording that would suggest that her voice is the best. Also this review was made by Pierluigi Guadagni which is included in the refereces. Could you review your point of view please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karaflores (talk • contribs) 09:44, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- You are free to re-submit but the submission is not written in a formal, neutral encyclopedic tone. I don't know what other articles you are referring to but WP:OSE applies. Theroadislong (talk) 09:46, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
HI, I removed all the possible wording that could lead the review to a misunderstanding and submitted again, I left dynamic which is a proper technical element https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Accent_(music), please help me to close the loop.

Henry Lorentzen (Artist)
Just wanted to thank you for your comment. I'm new to editing and using this program. I can only work on weekends. This will be slow going for me! Learning the program and editing. Will be working on my references as soon as I can. Thanks again for keeping it positive! SmallSteps101 (talk) 20:43, 24 January 2021 (UTC) Just read what you said about a conflict of interest. I understand. Give me an example of who would be appropriate. A college? Who keeps posterity? Not being catty at all. I'm just this dull. Thanks.

Review: Pickupp
Hello! I'm new to Wikipedia and would appreciate your advice on how I can go about editing the Pickupp article such that it is suitable for publication. There're many write-ups and articles about them currently, similar to companies like Shopee https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Shopee, Lalamove https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Lalamove etc.
Appreciate your advice on what needs to be edited/remove :)

Edit to Saltash wikipedia page
Hi,
Recently an edit to the page for the town of Saltash was removed. Whilst I understand why vandalism may have been assumed, it was a mistake. I have it on good authority that Harrison Jones once fought a bear. The bear ended up being pinned, with 2 separate witnesses confirming this. Unfortunately, flash photography would have scared the bear thus no photos were taken. However, I can give you the email addresses of the two witnesses.
All the best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Harrijonesson (talk • contribs) 14:07, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Wiki entry: Klaus Benesch (declined Jan 26)
Hi, you mentioned in your comment that his CV is not a reliable source, but the reference under weblinks leads you to the official website of the LMU Munich about Prof. Dr. Benesch that not only holds his CV, but all his positions held, publications, research etc. It is the official website of the LMU Munich and the university's very good international reputation should speak for itself that it does not disclose false information about its professors. The link under weblinks will take you directly to this official page of LMU and the America Institute he is working for and you will find there all the information which is also contained in the wikipedia entry. The same wikipedia entry in German has already been published: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Benesch Since he is a well-reputated professor here in Germany it would be great if you could review the referenced link under weblinks so you can see that this official website of LMU Munich is reliable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:C22:7640:4F00:6036:666D:7442:DF0F (talk) 20:44, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Regarding Draft:Atif Khan (Director)
Respected sir/mam , I submitted Draft:Atif Khan(Director) but you declined and left comment," sources need to be in depth significant coverage not merely passing mentions or listings." . I just wanted to ask can you approve my draft as someone did to the https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fahad_Kashmiri . there is no source at all in the reference section of Fahad Kashmiri wikipage but it is still an article . Actually I am new contributor and i observed type of sources that others had made for their articles and on basis of that i included my sources . Please help me by telling me in brief what kind of sources i really have to add to make my draft an article and is my method of citing sources is correct or not on the Draft:Atif Khan (Director). That would be great help from you . — Preceding unsigned comment added by Khan Ahsan 1 (talk • contribs) 16:45, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Honourable Nyerere Ogbonna, sourcing and neutra tone
Dear Theroadislong, I want to specially thank you for your comment on my article Draft:Honourable Nyerere Ogbonna in which you advised that I add more sources and maintain neutral tone. Already I have 11 independent sources and I have tried as much as possible to maintain objective language/tone. To the best of my knowledge, I do not think Wikipedia policies and guidelines provide that an article for submission should have a minimum of number of sources as I have cited before being considered or reviewed. On the time of neutra tone, I would advise you state specially what language defies neutrality of tone, so that I can revise it. I know we are all learning. For me, I have tried to comply with Wikipedia policies and guidelines to the best of my knowledge and ability. Anyways, I wish you could consider the article for speedy review and approval. Thank dear. Nwachinazo (talk) 11:32, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Theroadislong Thank you for your comment on my article for submission which you advised that I add more sources and maintain neutral tone. I have left me more confused than you met me on these two aspects. I have tried as much as possible to maintain neutra language and tone. I have complied with the Wikipedia policies and guidelines in order to provide with knowledge needed to write an acceptable article. I think you should have been more specific in what area you are referring to as that I can revise it for onward review and approval. Second, I doubt with due respect that Wikipedia policies and guidelines states 11 independent sources are insufficient to gain any review and possible page. Though you advise may be good, I think the sources are enough for now for you and other colleagues to consider it for speedy approval despite numerous drafts on the backlogs awaiting reviewing. Thank you once more as I await you positive response on this matter. Nwachinazo (talk) 11:40, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- You state on your user page "content creator and media consultant" please address the paid editing question. There is no urgency to approve articles Theroadislong (talk) 11:43, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
If my user details state that "I am a content creator and media consultant" does that qualify me for receiving an undisclosed financial favour from my subject. Have I as a media consultant writing any published works on him? In fact, are you not a content creator by the virtue of your position as Wikipedia position? What is media consultancy by the way? Aren't you a media person as an experienced Wikipedia? Am I not consulting with you for some help? Is there any financial involvement that results in this consultancy between us? My friend, I choose to describe myself as a media creator and media consultant and that have nothing to do directly with the article in question. If I want to engage in any business that will give me financial favours from my subject, wouldn't I still need to hide my description? Please there is no direct relationship between your accusation and the proof you presented. Have you been challenged for your descriptions on your username? Nwachinazo (talk) 12:26, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

The Ogbonna draft
In my opinion, the draft fails notability. Ogbonna is not an elected person. He helped get the governor elected, and as a result he is one of 27 Chairmen in the Imo state of Nigeria. The awards are meaningless re notability. David notMD (talk) 13:59, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Theroadislong, I beg to disagree with you about your stand that the article's subject is not notable, simply because he is not an elected member. Is he not an office holder? What passes for notability according to Wikipedia policies and guidelines is not based on quality of sources related to the subject of an article. I beg you reconsider your stance.Nwachinazo (talk) 18:37, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Agreed I just declined it, there are also quite a number of primary sources used, which the article's subject wrote. Theroadislong, well, the article's subject didn't write any of the sources. Or are you saying that Opera News Nigeria as a news platform is not qualified as an independent news source? Meanwhile, you declined the article simply because I cited "primary sources". It is quite unfair not to consider that the article writer cited more than three independent sources. Are you saying that they are not enough? What does Wikipedia policies and guidelines say about this? Educate me. Thank you.Nwachinazo (talk) 18:37, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

Research Foundation to Cure AIDS (RFTCA)
Hello, thank you for reviewing the page that I entered for "Research Foundation to Cure AIDS (RFTCA)". You indicated that it appeared that I am a paid editor. Please note, I am not paid for any edits or paid any amount by RFTCA. I am a volunteer. Further, RFTCA is a public charity in which no individuals have any financial interest. The organization is a relatively new organization and I prepared the new entry providing information about it. It is not an advertisement, it is a summary of information about the organization, its scope and context for its work. Would you please take another look and let me know if I can provide any further information? Thank you, Kambiz KambizShekdar (talk) 15:31, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- As the self proclaimed "President and Founder of Research Foundation to Cure AIDS" you would be deemed to be a paid editor you certainly need to declare your conflict of interest. Your draft Draft:Research Foundation to Cure AIDS reads very much like an advert, it even starts with an external link to your website. Theroadislong (talk) 15:37, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
That is an assumption you are making. I am not paid at all by the entity. I have never been paid not even $1. I am a volunteer president and established the entity in order to donate my biotechnology with promise to cure AIDS to the public on a pro bono basis. As the president, I am knowledgable about the organization and as it has no page, I created one. I thought that once it would be up, others could chime in and make additions or changes? Victor Buckley
Hi, Theroadislong
Thank you very much for your prompt response to my submission.
Re 'the sourcing is unclear', I apologize that on submission, the 'further reading' section got left out. I have since restored it and I hope that, with the references, the sources of the article are clearer.
Re 'tone'. I hope that I make it clear that the tone of the article is that of my sources, rather than me. The charge against Buckley has been explored by four writers: Henry Brooks Adams, E.D. Adams, F. J. Merli and R. E. Long. Each of the paragraphs attempts a summary of their argument as it affects Buckley, the escape of the Alabama, and the other people involved. Brooks Adams is closest to the angry divisions of 1861-71, which were chiefly class-based. E.D. Adams continued the class-based account of the events, without the passion. Merli and Adams - being further from the events - are more objective. My paragraph 'Buckley the Confederate Sympathiser' attempts to show why people in the 1860s might have supported the South, and is based mainly on Foreman's book (as referenced).
I conclude with what I hope is a non-partisan assessment of the case against Buckley (and the British government). The evidence so far uncovered is inconclusive, but I know that at least one writer - Alexander Rose (who has already written on espionage during the War of Independence) - is interested in taking this further.
I may have misunderstood your comments, in which case I hope you will help me amend the article appropriately. I have only put together one or two articles from scratch - I find it easier to amend existing ones!

I read the comment you left on my draft article and would need further guidance on what you would recommend as secondary sources acceptable on Wikipedia. Yes, I did read the Wikipedia guidelines and page on notability and sources/references but I would appreciate simpler examples of sources that are acceptable and to help me better my article. Thankyou for your help and review.Justice Faith (talk) 13:45, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

Commending the governor is not an achievement in its self but for the fact that the road is part of his local government area which he remains its Chairman is an achievement because his influence and the necessity of the road drew the attention of the governor of the state. Let say, if you influence brings the community progress, would that be counted as an achievement? Again, if you commend someone for granting the request of your community, does it not calls for referencing? However, I had to include that source because it concerns the subject to justify his notability. Please be positive because you are overstretching this matter. Or do you have "interest" in this subject that you are kicking against his notability and referencing? Please let us know.Nwachinazo (talk) 15:59, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Theroadislong I am sorry. You have committed the worst professional blunder by asking that an article's subject must be sourced. I see that you are a just a fault-finder and killjoy. This statement of yours is not only unnecessary but also unserious. Please withdraw it, my brother. By the way, what is the meaning of "The Road is Long"? Don't you think it suggests to make things harder for others?Nwachinazo (talk) 16:30, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Happy new month, Theroadislong. I have tried to revised some statements which called for the need for citation. I have also added third-party independent sources (with adequate coverage of the subject) to butrress the article. I have further fixed the "dead link" and the link is now alive. Please kindly remove the tag(s) you place on on my article since I have resolved the issues raised. Thank you as I look forward to a better review.Nwachinazo (talk) 15:43, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- I have removed the tag, I will leave it for another reviewer to accept or decline. He still doesn't appear to pass WP:GNG. Theroadislong (talk) 15:56, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Theroadislong Thank you for removing the tag but I doubt your judgement on whether it will pass. You try to influence the judgement of others by this conclusion. Or are you trying to discourage me? If not, then allow others to do their job. Anyway, I believe it will pass having fixed the so-called issues you raised and justifying certain claims I made. Wikipedia articles are articles in progress, however. Nwachinazo (talk) 16:04, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- I am just giving you my considered opinion, I have reviewed many, many thousands of drafts, sometimes I get it wrong, but leaving it for another reviewer to decide, to be fair to you. Theroadislong (talk) 16:10, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Thank you Theroadislong for accepting the fact that you sometimes get it wrong despite your longtime of experience in reviewing articles. Yes, it will be fairer if you leave my article alone and withdraw all tags and statements you place on my article (and/or in your talk space) to avoid preempting other reviewers' judgements. For me, I am always willing to learn but not from someone who lets me down just because you have attained the level of a reviewer. We shall all get to that stage with time. Overpolicing others' drafts is really bullying.Nwachinazo (talk) 17:12, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Just to please you, I have removed the unsourced birthdate. But I will never go beyond this to delete the one in the infobox. I am sure you know that not all biographical details need sources. Sourcing may arise for birthdate if it is controversial. Nwachinazo (talk) 17:01, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- This is where you are completely incorrect WP:BLP requires all biographical details to be meticulously sourced, birthdates in particular, must be removed if there is no source, since you added it you must have seen it somewhere other wise how do you know it? Material about living persons added to any Wikipedia page must be written with the greatest care and attention to verifiability and neutrality. Theroadislong (talk) 17:10, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- I have just read and re-read the various policies and guidelines of Wikipedia on WB:BLPs but I am yet to see where it states clearly that "birthdate" should be sourced. What Wikipedia advises is that great care should be taken when including biographical details of a living person even the dead one. This is to avoid misinterpretation and/or civil action. But in this case, there is none. I may not have third-party independent source(s) to support the claim but I can say in confidence that the information given is true, given a primary source available to me here. Since Wikipedia does not accept primary sources, I have tried to refuse using it. Please accept my explanation unless you know the subject too well (which is CoI in reviewing) or hate him to be included on Wikipedia page (which is an act of bias)Nwachinazo (talk) 17:25, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- Per MOS:OPENPARABIO dates of birth and death should be used, if found in secondary sources (do not use primary sources for birth dates of living persons or other private details about them). So you are correct that you shouldn't use the primary source, but you shouldn't add the dates at all if there is no source available. Accusing me of hate and bias is a personal attack and will not help you get the draft accepted. Theroadislong (talk) 17:39, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
