Mistake on edit summary
[edit]I accidentally said on edit summary on South African Airways Flight 295 saying “Both black boxes ARE flight data recorders in my concern that I meant to say “Both black boxes ARENT flight data recorders” just saying that so that people can understand. Your contributed article, List of Japan Air Lines accidents and incidents
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, List of Japan Air Lines accidents and incidents. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of Japan Airlines incidents and accidents. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of Japan Airlines incidents and accidents. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. David Biddulph (talk) 15:46, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Japan Air Lines accidents and incidents
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Category:Japan Air Lines accidents and incidents requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2019 October 14#Category:Japan Air Lines accidents and incidents. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". List of aviation accidents and incidents envolving a Boeing 747 moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, List of aviation accidents and incidents envolving a Boeing 747, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Bank Angle Awareness Warning System moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Bank Angle Awareness Warning System, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I can find nothing online to suggest that a system by this name even exists.
Nick Moyes (talk) 19:49, 20 October 2019 (UTC)
- I've just popped back to say don't let the fact that I've moved something you were working on into draft ever stop you from trying to improve it and then submitting for review. Looking at a few of your contributions, I sense that you're writing from your own personal experience or knowledge, rather than basing your writing upon reliable, published sources. I'd urge you to start new articles in draftspace and submit them via Articles for creation. Noting above your Draft:List of aviation accidents and incidents envolving a Boeing 747, I'd wondered whether you'd actually seen Boeing 747 hull losses and considered discussing the merits of a separate article on that talk page. Anyway, all the best, Nick Moyes (talk) 21:00, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into List of aviation accidents and incidents involving CFIT. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:05, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of aviation accidents and incidents involving CFIT, appears to have been inappropriate, and has been reverted. Please feel free to use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Wikipedia articles do not include remarks addressed to the reader. The note was in any case unnecessary because the first mention of CFIT has a link. I put that edit there because to clarify what CFIT means, just so you know. The person who should not be named (talk) 19:53, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

I've reverted another of your edits to the same list article. The template says very clearly: "This template should not be placed on article pages directly. Speedy deletion nomination of UT:TPWSNBN
[edit]A tag has been placed on UT:TPWSNBN requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. 9/11 flight paths
[edit]I've reverted your undiscussed removals of the graphic representations of the flight paths. Did you look at the files? "Original by the 9/11 commission - Manually remade in Inkscape by Mysid after File:911 commission AA11 path.png" In general, helpful graphics of that kind do not require referencing if their provenance is reasonably obvious, as it was in this case. What you could do is look it up in the 9/11 report and reference that, but even FA review (and two articles you removed useful graphicvs from were FAs) does not require that level of referencing. Don't make changes like that to FAs without discussion. The graphics are an integral part of FA status, and images aren't required to be referenced. Acroterion (talk) 01:28, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of ALLAHU AKBAAAR!
[edit]A tag has been placed on ALLAHU AKBAAAR! requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Bank Angle Awareness Warning System, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.
You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.
Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:34, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
@HasteurBot: Thanks for your concern, but I now think it should be deleted because I found out that there is no such thing as that but except that the Ground Proximity Warning System handles it. So therefore, I think it should be nominated for deletion. Thanks. The person who should not be named (talk) 18:01, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
