Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:07, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please think very carefully about adding pictures you find on the internet to articles. These are not your pictures to upload, nor to add to articles.

The pictures themselves are handled on Wikimedia Commons, and you may lose editing privileges there if you continue to upload pictures which are the copyright of others. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 23:15, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure where the issue lies? I have seen other articles where they do not own copyright and are approved. Please see example https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Daddy_Yankee_-_The_Kingdom_(Official_Q_%26_A)_(derived).jpg TheSocialWay (talk) 23:18, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This picture has no onward licencing at the stated source, and is now flagged for administrator attention.
Since you are not sure what the problem is please read c:Commons:Copyright whch will give you a great deal of information. This is, however, a Wikimedia Commons discussion. There is a Helpdesk there, and you should ask questions there. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 20:43, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That picture has now been deleted. Thank you for pointing it out.
I hope you are nw closer to understanding. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 12:30, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "TheSocialWay", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to represent a business (www.thesocialway.com). If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Green610 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Dia Michelle moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Dia Michelle, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]

Please stop creating articles in article space. Use WP:AFC to create drafts, not articles and do not move those drafts to article space on your own; instead, you will get feedback from far more experienced users as to whether the drafts are ready to be in article space.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:41, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
