If you an admin sees this. Please check my block and review it. Once again I’ll come back by the end of the month but of course right now there’s no need to use this account.

Please accept the article. I had already added those citations prior before you mentioned them. Check the ‘reception’ and ‘charts’. Feel free to let me know if any citations are unreliable. If there are no unreliable sources please accept the article. Thatsoddd (talk) 15:15, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have replied to you everywhere but here so sorry about that. I didn’t realize you could reply. Those things have been cited since before you said that. I haas added it in the charts and also the ‘reception’ part of the article. Accepting it would be great. Thatsoddd (talk) 15:30, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

October 2023 unreliable sources at BLPs

[edit]

Please don't add sources like this one to any article, much less one about a living person. An online people search tool is not in any way a valid citation for anything. Valereee (talk) 10:30, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted that. I must’ve forgot it on one of the pages sorry. I kinda forgot about that considering the fact, she hasn’t tweeted anything and also the Instagram pictures won’t work for some reason so it’s either I wait till next year and hope she tweets something on her birthday or a news article posts something about her and includes her birthday. Since neither is probably gonna happen. I’m choosing to just forget about it until then. Thank you so much for your help on tea house bye. Thatsoddd (talk) 14:55, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Her birthday does also come up when she’s searched via google anyway. Thatsoddd (talk) 15:09, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WP:COPYVIO issues: Do not copy text from websites without attribution

[edit]

Hello. Regarding your creation of Love Lee, you copy-pasted text from various sources you cited throughout the article without putting it into your own words (paraphrasing or rewording it) or indicating that what you copied was a quote. This is a significant problem on Wikipedia and you need to stop doing it immediately going forward. It is a copyright violation to do this (per WP:COPYVIO) and repeated instances of it can get your account blocked. I am sure you can see why copying text from a publication when copyright law exists is a problem. You need to paraphrase, put things in your own words, and explicitly mark with quotation marks (" ") parts of text that are direct quotes—like when a critic offers an opinion of a work. You should additionally not be copying PR text from sources describing songs or albums. We word things neutrally on Wikipedia (WP:NEUTRAL) and text copied directly from sources describing songs as "catchy" and "clever", aside from the aforementioned copyright issues and unless it is indicated as a quote, is not appropriate. Thank you. Ss112 04:14, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that now but I had no clue about that before so thanks. Thatsoddd (talk) 14:38, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

other accounts again?

[edit]

Thatsoddd, you've been using the Jjjjfghh2 account again. Is there a reason you're alternating between accounts, sometimes at the same article? Valereee (talk) 15:04, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That account only has about 15 edits, it’s not something I use on a regular basis. I did state on my page that I do have an account which I sometimes use. Although as stated before, it’s not an account I use often. On Wikipedia, I try to use only ONE account. Thatsoddd (talk) 20:27, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What is the purpose of the alt account which may be in violation of WP:SOCK? Also, why "try" to use one account when you really could just use one account? S0091 (talk) 20:54, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay fine then I’ll use only this account. Thatsoddd (talk) 20:56, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To be clear, you agree to only use this account? S0091 (talk) 21:07, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the option and blocked all undisclosed accounts including Jjjjfghh, Uglydoodoo, Wewillbetheree and Jjjjfghh2 some of which have been used on overlapping articles. Thatsoddd, stick to this one account moving forward please.-- Ponyobons mots 21:14, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Honestly some of those i don’t remember making. I will stick to just this account though. Thank you for all your help! Thatsoddd (talk) 21:23, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move articles to unnecessary and incorrectly disambiguated pages

[edit]

Thatsoddd, there was no reason to move Love Lee to Love Lee(AKMU song). There is nothing else of the name Love Lee on Wikipedia, therefore there is no need for the incorrect disamibguation per WP:NCMDAB (it is incorrect as you didn't add a space between the last letter of the title and the parenthesised disambiguation, and even if you had spaced it, it is not necessary). Ss112 04:35, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it is. Without that it won’t come up on Google search so it is necessary. Thatsoddd (talk) 04:55, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since you are here can you move it please. Thatsoddd (talk) 04:56, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please move the page to Love Lee (AKMU song) with the space so it can be easier to find through google. Without this it’s basically impossible to find. Thatsoddd (talk) 04:57, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Supreme Leather Varsity Jacker Spring Summer 2015.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the non-free content guidelines, please add the appropriate non-free use tag and rationale.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Are you ever coming back. It’s been a few days. I’m starting to feel like I’ll never get unbanned. I have respected you and I have even said kind things about you to other editors and I’m not trying to use this as a way of getting you to unblock me, im just being honest. I would never try to harm the website. I made only constructive edits with my IP address and I mean this is gonna get ignored anyway. Request reason:

I couldn’t get into my account at the time. Presumably because I’m going from device to device. Things get frustrating as I don’t wanna have to log in every single time. To add to that I didn’t see anything that says publishing through another account on Wikimedia commons is a bannable offense and I know I shouldn’t have have done this but my intentions were not to cause harm to the platform. I also did message you immediately when this happened but I deleted. It can be found in the history though. Once again I’m so sorry that this happened. I should’ve just logged in if I wanted to post or edit something. Thatsoddd (talk) 15:13, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You're going from device to device over the period of a six minutes twice, sometimes, and while editing the same page? You're saying you actually find it easier to switch devices, navigate to the page you were working on using a different device six minutes ago than it is to log in? My devices keep me logged in, you aren't being offered that ability? Valereee (talk) 15:27, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
At the end of the day I admit it was dishonest and gaming but it was far from intentional behavior. My intention was simply to edit the page but due to consistent use of WP without logging in I definitely looked like a sockpuppet but I simply just never logged in. Also no, I can’t log in on two devices at the same time. I should’ve simply not have edited the website while logged out. This won’t happen again. I will be more cautious about things like this. I know I most likely won’t get unbanned but I am asking for at least a shortening of the ban put in place. Thatsoddd (talk) 15:40, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You removed from this discussion the complaint about removing a deletion tag literally while we were having this discussion. I'm afraid I'm with Yamla here. Maybe go edit Simple Wikipedia constructively for a few months, then come back here with a good track record and request again. Valereee (talk) 15:55, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

..My intention was not to cause damage or harm to the website. The reason placed "not here to build an encyclopedia" I assume refers to the 'gaming the system' part. Everything I did was primarily due to me being unaware of certain guidelines despite being reminded by the admins due to this I continued to break the rule and after reading the rules again, I recognized the problem and immediately addressed it. I messaged one of the admins through my talk page. After a day, I deleted my message. There was never any vandalism done to the website when using an ip address or another account. I am once again asking for my ban to be shortened or simply removed as of January 16, 2024 because I swear I will not use an ip address again to edit again. I understand why it was placed, I should've known better but I will not let this happen again.}} Thatsoddd (talk) 10:08, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will continue further to make my point clear. The ip address that was used was used by accident to edit articles. It was not however meant to harm the platform. I specifically forgot to log in. I did log in too by the way but then it logged me out AGAIN. I am asking for a removal of this ban. I assure it won’t happen again. Despite all this, I was ONLY editing that specific thing as it was a copy edit which ended up in me continuing to edit it. It’s not in my niche so of course I didn’t realize logging out and editing would cause a problem. Thatsoddd (talk) 18:18, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Now that I have a better understanding. I'm willing to change and to adapt as a Wikipedia editor, I will no longer use any other account to edit articles nor deleted templates and add citations that may be false Thatsoddd (talk) 19:18, 12 December 2023 (UTC)

I am declining your request because you have continued to evade your block by editing while logged out, according to multiple independent checkusers who have examined Wikipedia's technical logs, even as this appeal was pending. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 04:07, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Valereee: If this individual has not evaded their block over the past several months, would you object to an unblock under a one-account restriction? — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 03:17, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
{{Checkuser needed}} to see if the user has evaded their block following the decline by Yamla above. As noted in the quick SPI request, I'd summarily decline this if there is evidence of block evasion (and this user should not be stale). — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 03:31, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Red-tailed hawk: they have evaded their block using IPs as recently as yesterday. Spicy (talk) 10:40, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, RTH. Obviously this is probably moot, but the issues with this user kind of went beyond the multiple accounts thing. Their contributions at Jenna Rose while discussion was happening at Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_417#Can_Instagram_be_used_as_a_WP:ABOUTSELF_if_it_is_the_person’s_Instagram_account?, for instance. The multiple accounts thing was concerning because they were contributing to conversations using two different accounts after multiple requests not to do so, but the CIR and IDHT was what got us there in the first place. Valereee (talk) 13:29, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's fair. I had read most of the comments above to indicate problems relating to sockpuppetry, which is why I framed the question as such. In any case, it's a moot point if they're continuing to evade their block. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 04:08, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I am are unable to unblock you at this time. I recommend waiting at least six months before you again request unblocking. (You should not evade your block by editing the English language Wikipedia from a different account or while not logged in during this time. It would reset the six month timer.) It would work in your favor for you to constructively edit a different Wikipedia or Wikimedia project during this time, for at least six months and at least 500 edits. You will then need to concisely and clearly tell how your editing merited a block, what you would do different, and what constructive edits you would make. A list of Wikimedia projects can be found at META:List_of_Wikipedias . Before again requesting unblocking, please read the Guide to Appealing Blocks. I specifically forgot to log in. I did log in too by the way but then it logged me out AGAIN. Soon after I was banned and didn’t see any issue with using my IP adresss. I am asking for a removal of this ban. I assure it won’t happen again. I didn’t realize logging out and editing would cause a problem.

Decline reason:

Your account was blocked, so you evaded your block by editing without logging in by accident? I don't even know what that is supposed to mean. When your account is blocked, you are not permitted to edit at all. In six months time, you can request unblock per the standard offer. Girth Summit (blether) 17:58, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

1.The account has been blocked because of sockpuppetry which I knowingly engaged in. My other accounts were not active when this account was used and this account was not made to circumvent a block. It wasn't until after I made this account through a different IP address I realised this was sockpuppetry but I continued to use this account and that was my fault. I should have stopped using the account immediately and waited for my block on my other accounts to be removed.

2. The IP addresses are different because I made this account on a different IP address but it was not created to disrupt or abuse the platform. It was created because I didn't see how making an account on a different IP address would be a problem however I realised quickly that it is in fact sockpuppetry and take full responsibility in knowingly engaging in that.

3. This account has not made disruptive edits and the talk page is quite clean and is free of complaints. It never was created to bypass any restriction. My account was blocked on the other IP address and has yet to be unblocked and I didn't want to wait 3 months to get unblocked when I have clearly improved and am willing to understand the rules of Wikipedia. I won't do it again because I now understand Wikipedia takes sockpuppetry very seriously. I understand that many of my articles and edits will be removed and already have been.

4. I believe I should be unblocked because I am not a distriptuve editor nor did I engage in sockpuppetry to disrupt or abuse the platform. I am aware that I knowingly engaged in sockpuppetry but it will not happen again. If unblocked I will ONLY use this account from now on and I will NOT use another account or IP adresss to circumvent any block again. Lastly, I understand that I engaged in sock-puppetry and I will not do it again.

Decline reason:

The only possible pathway forward here is the standard offer; the six months period starts now. 331dot (talk) 09:21, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User: 331dot Six months?? That would mean I’d get unblocked around September 12 of this year?? It’s March 12, 2024. There has to be a way to shorten this from six whole months. — Thatsoddd (talk) 10:07, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
